I assessed with just my BSc, and it was assessed equal to an Aus Bachelor's. I guess the MSc helps if you feel your Bachelor's is gonna fall short.

Kindly assess with your Bsc, that will give more points in years of experience provided that you will meet the requirement of the skill you want to nominate. Check the requirement with the Assessing body. Generally, using Msc for assessment is a waste of time and that does not give you extra points on the point test. Msc and Bsc have same point-15points.

Hi BossladyMo accept my belated congrats on your new grants. I just called vetassess admin officer now and she confirm that it does not matter and that I can use it for any visa class provide it is permanent. The visa class was not written on the assessment letter. Its on the platform. What do you think.

Its been four weeks (from tomorrow will be fifth) I applied to four different schools in Australia. Till now, no offer, no news from my agent. I want to know from the experienced ones, do you think I can still make it for July intake, assuming offer eventually comes in this week, considering the time from when I will pay my tuition, get COE, apply for visa etc, and expect a grant? I'm asking because I want to know if its time to finally zero my mind and start working for feb intake. Thanks guys.

P.S. I used agent because most schools now make the agent thing mandatory, and also I don't have much SOA to show, am self sponsored.

Everybody...praise the Lord with me a second time! We just got our 190 grant. We decided to apply for the 190 to save us childcare costs, rather than waiting 2 yrs on the 489. I had given up, especially after receiving the delay mail.

Izykvision0 where are you o? It's like onshore applicants are the ones enjoying now. I was really worried when my application changed back to application received 2 days back...guess it was a good sign.

thanks again. Last year i got the TAFE offer and d agent said i can never get a visa doing diploma wen i already ave a bsc. hes the one that caused all dis.he got me masters in hotel management and i dont like that area at all. i'll apply back at TAFE. thanks mrnilobrawn

Please guys I need advice. I have a friend in Aussie, I am supposed to stay with her for a while before I find my footing when I get there. She has sasked for a favor and here it is. She wants me to withdraw my application I had submitted since 2 weeks now and reapply again including her cousin as a my dependent. She promises she has a contact in student visa that assures my visa but I can't go through that visa stress again. I need her help too when I get there so is it too selfish not to want to withdraw my application? I know for a fact she has a contact but the hassles too much abeg.

Has anyone you known withdrawn and reapplied without hassle. If there was a way to skip some steps is wat I am asking

I believe most of these come in when one is claiming migration points from work experience esp the payslips.

i hope i wont have visa issues with my tafe program. having done bsc before amd now going for a tafe in somethg different. i hope im safe, and i hope i will qualify for pr once im done with tafe even without work experience bt ofcos majority of tafe in social work require wrk placements during studies? thank u izy i appreciate

Yep! They confirmed my fears as I got Associate degree equivalency and that means I'll need my Masters. Again, my work experience was suitable and tagged to when I finished my B.Sc in November 2013. That is, work done after that date, since none...I will get zero point for the 6yrs 2months they calculated it as.

Not everybody knew they would one day want to get out..again it is not easy to be admitted in Nigerian universities. So many pple just want to enrol...u are right about following trends and peers.

You can hardly convince somebody here to study veterinary medicine.. it is medicine and surgery...when that didn't work, they end up with biology. I'm not saying biology is bad but vet med would have made more sense outside Nigeria.

My brother just finished statistics and he's already playing with some software..if he can top it with one Masters program... he gonna move up.

My friend...my B.Sc didn't sail, I will add Masters degree soon and top money for ACS. Thanks

ferdimako , that marketing specialist is under the csol but @izsy says no state is sponsoring it. so it means i cant apply for pr with a degree in marketing?

We got a bill of $380 for 62 days (cooking, hot water system, laundry, ACs and every other electric powered thig in the house) For the first 2 weeks, we were using the AC 247...but by the time I calculated the potential cost on Ergon website, we sharply reduced the usage. We cool the room at intervals during the day, and use the fan at night. But that's the rate for Ergon Qld...I guess it varies by state.

Electricity Bills are sent out wvery 3mths. Landlord pays for water.

good day guys..my specialty is sales cos i have worked as a sales executive for 1yr6mnth...please i want to ask if doing a pgd-masters in marketing and when im through will apply for pr but im confused which of them on the csol. if i study marketing can i apply for Pr in "technical sales representative" please reply cs i cant see any course related to sales persay as there is also a job role called "marketing specialist" and wondeeing if its only for those who studied marketing... please your views Godbless

. It is better you use IOM Australia. Within 3 working days they will get back to. They have options of payment either international money tansfer,or you can pay in either of their offices at Lagos or Abuja. Naira equivalent of the dollar.

IOM nigeria take max of two weeks, a frnd got got his within 3days.

I think they priortise base on ur departure date.

Insurance and first semester fees is always needed for most reputed Universities at Australia. According to me the education there is much expensive and of less quality. I personally don't think Australia is a good option for education purposes.
