Pls concerning medicals, I printed the eMedical Client referral letter, but no assigned medical examinations. Is this normal? Or there is something i'm yet to do?

Secondly, how do i go about the polio vaccination stated on their website, will this be done together at the panel doctor's or i need to that separately?

If ur uni was in Benin Republic and u were taughtin french, ur transcript will be written in french; only then do u require a translation of docs because ure applying to an English speakn country.

I applied for a points test advice yesterday with vetassess and did what i told u wih my firstbank naira debit card. Expecting a debit alert today. That simple.

You didn't state the error you received while paying.

If ure paying for Vetassess dowload theor credit authourization form, fill and email back to them. Your payment should leave ur acct the next day or two. Just fund ur naira acct. That is all. You need to be quick and do this b4 23rd when they go on break, because from Jan1 Vetassess starts ACS style of cutting work experience.

Why are u paying for translation Was ur degree taught in a non- English language? If not aint for u.

If ur skl is willing to do so, then lucky u. U can send via any courier of ur choice. And insert Registrar, Name of ur Uni in senders box. Dont use registered mail, its a gamble.

My undergrad is Statistics, Masters is Mgt n Finance. I added d masters not because i thot it relevant buh cos u never know.
Now, anyone would have thot my Statistics is highly relevant to the Statistican ANZCO requirement, hence requiring me to have only one year work experience, but to my utmost surprise my masters (Mgt n Fin) was the one assessed as highly relevant. In thier words "Management and Finance underpinned by Statistics is highly relevant, with at least 2years highly relevant work experience."

So i sent an email to clarify the above statement, dey replied that my Masters is the one dt is highly relevant thereby knocking off my pre masters work experience hence reducing my 5 yrs for DIBP.
But then by January 2015 i would be 5 yrs again regardless of the pre masters work.

My question is becos my current job (Statistical Data Analyst) that will make it 5 yrs again in Jan is not the one spelt out on the assessment result but yet related, will i still be able to claim 5yrs for DIBP by adding an updated reference letter and payslips?

VIC rejected me, despite their booming Agric industry and my work experience fitting perfectly...but thank God I didn't have to wait for months before the result came out...just 8 days.

Yes i have experience in d science industry (food and beverage) spanning 2+years. I think importantly for Vic is skill set especially d use of software applications like SAS for predictive modeling. This is d transferrable skill they talk of. I have a 6page committment letter as well. So just praying.

There is a chance you land on a 489...so brace-up. QLD only has it on 489 list, and Victoria nomination can't be banked on...while it is closed in ACT.

Your wife, org & methods analyst is closed in ACT and on special conditions in SA.

So just brace up for a 489...unless you are lucky and QLD moves it back 190 like they did mine.

I am praying and staying positive for Victoria as i meet their requirements and have the required skills needed in Big data space.

Thanks all for the replies. She will add the Accounting degree as well. We thought we cld escape from that transcript rigour of Nigerian Uni's. Assessing under Accounting wld av been fine, but she doesnt like d course/profession dats y she changed line. And Accounting job market is chocking up in Aussy. She can fit into ICT Business Analyst, but that again has been over flogged by Asians in Aussy. Hence, her proposition for Organisation and Methods Analyst, since i 'm d principal applicant under Statistician. She only wants to assess as part of job recruitment requirement in Aussy when I'm nominated by His grace. Not claiming points for her as already on 55.

Sent this mail to Vetassess unbehalf of my wife, but still not gotten a reply. Pls guys help me clear the air with it. Below is the mail sent and anzsco explanation on vetassess's website.

For my case- the main applicant, Nipost never got to Vetassess since Sept 4 as opposed to the 15working days claimed for registered mails. Result was due Nov .15. Had to request for transcript again from my Uni and sent via TNT this time . Doc is now in Melbourne and should get positive result tomorrow by His grace.

I want to be assessed under Organisation and methods analyst.I have 3yrs post MBA work experience as a Change Manager/ Transformation Analyst.I have a Bsc Accounting(Nigeria) - irrelevant. I have a BA International Business(1yr) UK - relevant.I have an MBA (1yr)- UK - relevant.Will my 2yrs relevant education with 3yrs work experience be enough for a possible positive assessment?Do i need to submit academic documents forthe irrelevant Accounting degree?

Organisation and Methods Analyst (ANZSCO Code 224712)

This occupation requires a qualification which is assessed as comparable to the educational level of an AQF Bachelor degree or higher degree, in a field highly relevant to the nominated occupation.In addition to this, applicants must have at least one year of post-qualification employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years which is highly relevant to the nominated occupation. If employment is not post-qualification, then five additional years of highly relevant employment are required.If the degree is not in a highly relevant field, three years of employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years in a field which is highly relevant to the nominated occupation is required. This is reduced to two years if there is an additional qualification at least at AQF Diploma level in a highly relevant field.A positive assessment of both qualifications and employment is required for a positive Skills Assessment Outcome.

Matter at hand--- I am a Nurse, trained for 3 years at a school of Nursing and have the Nigerian Nursing Council Registered Nurse certificate. I am currently looking to apply with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery board, but i just want to clarify if i will be seeking registration as enrolled nurse or registered nurse.
I have had about 6 years active working experience most of this with 'Doctors without Borders' in clinical based settings, does this count?

Also i want to take IELTS on the 7th of January but my passport is still in my maiden name and i do not know whether it will be ready if i apply for a change of name before that time. Will the Australian board accept an IELTS result in my maiden name while my application is in my married name?

Finally, about visa, do i need to get one before getting started on the application?
Sorry i have so many questions, but any help or info will be helpful.

Concerning ur change of name, I'll advice if u av registered 4 IELTS carry on with the exam wit ur maiden name, because u need ur passport. After getn ur result, u can den apply for change of name in Abuja which takes 6 months to process. And then do an Affidavit of change of name at the high court. That will cover ur docs in ur maiden name.

In my own case, they used the assessment letter from my assessing authority. They did not even bother to check my professional references in Nigeria. I don't know if that is the standard, or if mine was peculiar.

Thanks UBKtech. Thought as much too. That is a more organized way of job and acada referencing. I missed a Lloyds Bank job in UK for a Risk role cos of prolonged replies from my Uni in Nigeria.

During recruitment process in Oz, do recruiters have to do work reference and academic confirmations again or they rely on results from one's assessing body like vetassess; as we know confirmations from Nigeria sometimes can take forever, hence delaying resumption. E.g in the UK, one can only resume when all checks are completed as opposed to the employment process in Nigeria, where checks are done like 3-6months into employment.

I lodged my app with Vetassess on Aug 15 - as in paid , then uploaded docs Sept 20. My acct shows lodged date as Aug.15 and my Uni sent my transcript via registered mail (NIPOST) on Sept 4. Dont know if they have received it yet, as status on NIPOST tracker is still unchanged as of today. However, Vetassess status remains the same on my acct - documents received we will contact you if we need additional docs.I also sent scanned and certified copies of my bsc and msc(Uk) transcripts.
Nov 15 will be 3 months from lodgement date ,should i expect my result then? how does d result come?
Will appreciate your responses.
