yesterday, we met with a company that is building a mother station in ajaokuta
foreigners. they were looking at engaging us as local partners
a massive opportunity and the project is going to happen
multiple majors across the board are building CNG stations.

you can join the people on social media arguing about the merits or demerits of converting a car to cng, or you can get paid in the construction or design of cng facilities

this is EXACTLY how a lot of people got rich in the 2000s by becoming suppliers and vendors for MTN and co when telcos were in their infancy

same thing is happening with EVs
I am even willing to put my resources in EVs than CNG.

If you read my post with with an open mind, you would see that the consumer's problem is with the technicians and the cost of conversion, and not CNG price itself.

When people are having issues with their cars, then it's starts to affect the number of conversions, and then the number of people using CNGs

I have asked you if you converted to CNG, and you already answered.

No single person has questioned why NYSC has continued to pay 33k which is 37k below the official minimum wage in this country for the past 10 months.

The federal government literally said there will be jail term for employers who pay below the N70k minimum wage

https://www.nairaland.com/8217209/there-jail-time-employers-dont

If NYSC was paying the official minimum wage of N70k and the corper appears to be living above her means while complaining of hardship, those bashing her may have a point.

Leaving NYSC that has continued to commit a crime by paying below minimum wage and jumping to attack a victim who complained about the effects of NYSC's crime on her finances is a new height of foolishness never seen before in this land.

people are bringing in CNG powered buses.
People are building CNG mother stations
as a nwafor you are supposed to be salivating over the opportunities

when MTN started in nigeria people also got rich from being vendors to MTN

if you want to complain about inflation brought about by tinubus policies while closing your eyes to business opportunities brought about by his polices , that’s on you.

its like people complaining that lagos smells. yes lagos smells, but it brings more opportunities than the fresh air states the complainers left to come to lagos. if the smell of clean air is so important, they can always go back home.
You said there was a silent revolution on CNG....Well, I am letting you know that people are starting to see the cons ..

So, what is the profitability of my mother station, when the demand is starting to reduce, coupled with the fuel price war, that keeps driving it down gradually?

I am very sure you did not convert your card to CNG. grin

GloriousGbola:
this is what i will say
1) there is SERIOUS INVESTMENT across board in CNG. Not just NNPC , other companies as well
it seems there is a quiet CNG revolution going down. a lot of majors are building mother stations and daughter stations

2) there is also EV investment. i have installed 10 chargers for a big concern and i have been informed some chinese guys plan to bring in very large numbers

all i am saying is there are opportunities. opportunities brought about by this administrations policies. Opportunity is knocking. Dont let the sound of the knocking be drowned out by background noise
Even though I don't understand how this comment relates to the issue on ground, I will gladly deviate

This is someone's review on the conversion. It's from NL. So maybe instead of assuming that there is a silent revolution, some are already biting their fingers in regret

Your comment, which I emboldened, is very funny. It is easy to see why you are easily picked as an object of ridicule here. I understand English, bros, and I speak out of direct experience and as a direct user, so I have earned the right for you to listen to me in matters relating to CNG usage

- CNG is NOT easy or cheap to convert. Only Nipco provides a subsidised conversion rate. The last time i checked, it will cost you nearly 1m to convert a 5cylinder vehicle, with months of painful delays and back and forths. Then it will cost you an extra 300 - 500k to do the conversion in other centres. How many people can easily dole out that sum?

- Rate of gas consumption is dependent on the number of cylinder your vehicle has (just like fuel) and the pressure of the dispensing Point at the time. The more cylinders you have and if the pressure is low at the time you bought the gas, then you will find yourself going to thr gas station more often.

- The moment you port to gas, mechanics will be scared of touching your vehicle because of all the connections and contraptions of the gas kit at your engine area and boot. And if your vehicle has an issue, you will keep wondering whether it is the gas installation or something else that is the source of the problem. Of course, your first port of call will be the engineers who did the installation, but they will simply tell you to bring it for re-calibration, and they will plug in their laptop to re-calibrate, then refer you to your mechanic, who will then refer you back to them and you will keep going back and forth

- Parts availability is inconsequential here. You will always depend on the conversion centre for any gas-related parts

what you are describing is inconvenience, not hardship. a slight lifestyle change

someone calls me - a beg please i am hungry - i need a derica of rice to feed vs someone who calls me - i am stranded i dont have money to pay for uber.

which of the two is actually suffering ?
So, all the times we have complained here is inconvenience, abi?

All the price changes you have endured due to inflation is all under inconveniences, baa?

and when he does most people will chide him or mock him for being tone deaf.
complaining in public about reduced luxuries is different from complaining about not being able to meet actual needs

in fact it sounds more like a humblebrag than actual complaining. she did not complain about the increase in cost of food at those places she has been taking pictures at, she complained about cost of uber to the places
You did not answer my question

Is the ED right to complain or not?

Nobody made you or me the custodian of hardship.

What is hardship for Dangote, is a prayer point for me. It is still hardship.

So until she cries about the price of One Derica or rice, it becomes hardship ba?

people actually suffering from hardship have the complaints blueray listed. they complain about cost of food, cost of rent, cost of petrol.
cost of school fees, deferreding urgent spend.they don't complain about cost of uber for a trip to the restaurant.

this is not a person suffering or struggling in any way. she is just winding people to go viral.

unless hardship has a different meaning sha.
So, if a Bank ED was spending 100k on fuel every week for his wife's car, and suddenly, it rises to 130k

Does he have the right to complain?
