........GloriousG analysis gets k-leg cos it was Okowa that funded Atiku the most in the last Election. Though I agree with him Wike held the party, financed it well until 2023 but he did all these not because he genuinely love the party, rather for his own ambition.
Northern Governors ain't gonna spend shishi on the party in the next presidential election, rather gonna focus mainly on local politics - cos Atiku is leaving the party to join El Rufai in SDP.
I heard Peter Obi is on his way to SDP too. Atiku has said he isn't leaving PDP. They have a better chance disrupting APC with PDP, than any SDP wey dem dey form. Well, na their own be that |

GloriousGbola: Which govenors?
Is it the northern governors who were collecting money from wike to run election? Like ndume and the bauchi governor?
As far as I can tell, most of the SS states did not do much from 2015 to 2023.wike was doing all the lifting. It is unfortunate he has a caustic personality. I am sure you remember how he was blackmailing pdp to hold summits in port Harcourt. To the point they were all meeting with him to kiss his ass.
How much is that 2.2 billion used for Ekiti today?
Also, by paying funds directly to LG chairmen, the fundraising abilities of governors has been seriously hampered The elections that the PDP governors won in their respective states, was it Wike that gave them money to prosecute? In the SS, Minus Fubara, PDP has 3 governors. In the SE, 1, SW, 2 and the rest up north. So which one be say na only Wike get money to bring? They obviously cannot match APC in spending power, but don't make it look like they will be carrying plates to beg for money. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:48am On Mar 11, 2025 |
GloriousGbola: Elections in Nigeria are prosecuted with money. Pdp gave fayose over 2bn in cash to prosecute the Ekiti election in 2013. Pdp is no longer in power and they have no access to federal cash. In the evolution of apc from ac to qcn to apc, it was lagos funds that were used to prosecute the elections in the SW that grew the parties footprint
From 2015 to 2023 for all intents amd purposes, it was port Harcourt money carrying pdp. And this was becof Wike's ambitions to be a shot caller in pdp and the 2023 nominee. Right now Fubara is facing actual political survival and has no time to focus on party activities.
So the question is - who will fund pdps federal ambitions? The only contender with the war chest is Atiku. And Atiku will not step down for anyone. It is simply not in his DNA and he is also too old to take the chance of waiting for 8 years.
So let us sit back and watch PDP still has governors nau. The way you guys say it, it is as if only Wike brought money to PDP, and others were watching. |

To be honest, Elrufai's defection to SDP na just waste of everything known to Man.
He should have just gone back to PDP, since he wants a coalition. There's nothing his SDP would offer to anyone at the table.
In a nutshell, there's no breathe of fresh air. The person wey use new party enter, go still use am defect. |

BlueRayDick: The foundational guy is a stupid guy that thinks anybody that challenges his point of view is either obidient or IPOB. I don’t take his opinions serious at all, he’s always biased in his takes . You should have seen how he was hyperventilating during the Afe Babalola-Dele Farotimi saga.
As for Timi Agbaje’s example , he’s comparing apples to oranges . He’s using the example of a robber being overpowered and being shot at . In the farmer’s case , he was actually stabbed by the herdsman before he overpowered him and stabbed him in return .
How can you logically say someone who stabbed me and was about to kill me , I don’t have a right to defend myself by stabbing him in return ? The law they claim to be lawyers under is not illogical at all. They should stop making it so .
Not all lawyers are actually smart like they claim to be , hope u know that ? I wanted to say this. The two scenarios are different. The herdsman was the person who stabbed the farmer. How I go collect him knife, and walk away? Even the judge wey pass that sentence cannot walk away. |

So your 4m will not get you any new modern car with modern features so it's either you up ur budget or lower your taste. I speak for myself anyway No matter how I want to lower my taste, I can never spend 4 million on a Nigerian used pencil light to carry my kids and family. I nk get money for fuel but you've money to buy a car worth over 20m I said "Only". Why is your client insisting on Venza since fuel is his headache? Felicity001: What I meant was, an importer would prefer if.given the chance.
Yes you're right, the high cost of duty has caused the entry of these cars through the back doors and it's paying off because custom will.not even disturb you.
Nevertheless, that doesn't cancel the professional engineering work put on that car making it a better choice with its counterpart 2.4 I am not doubting the reliability of the pencil light. But then, unless it's for transport, we have moved passed the age where low fuel consumption and durability is the only selling point for a car. Pencil light will always remain golden But to cough out 4 million to buy a Naija used, and be using it to carry my children and wife is not worth it. |

Felicity001: You no sabi motor
The camry 2.2 is far far better than it's junior brother 2.4.
It's more rigid, more rugged, stronger, more durable, better 2nd hand value and best seller ever after 23.to 26 years.
Importers prefer to.ship in the 2.2 camry in than the 2.4.
Have you wonder why uniform men like the car! That thing you call a 26yr old is.liken to a catapillar and very fuel efficient
Put 10 units camry 2.2 and 10 units of 2.4 camry in 1 car lot for sale... you would have sold all 10 units of the 2.2 oit b4 selling 5 units of the 2.4
It's my line of business so you don't need to argue with me Not true. Those 04 cars downwards are no longer lucrative to import because of the duty. Which importer will be happy to spend 2 million to clear Pencil light? How much e wan sell am? You'll mostly see those cars on the Nigerian Used market, or those smuggled through Land borders. |

Akwa-Ibom? same state as Akpabio. Seems too coincidental to me.
Whether Akpabio was NDDC chairman or not then, there's no way she wouldn't have crossed path with him when she dey pursue that contract.
