How does arresting females not wearing bra improve security or economy
Some of these leaders will just bring up stupid orders
I read some bras causes cancer, how will the help with that
I don't even like women wearing bras sef.

If I was governor, I would arrest those who wear them

The other day I was in a supermarket and the salesgirls were being saucy and one man got very angry.

He said because so many of us (as men) are not respecting ourselves and disturbing these small girls, they think they can be rude to any man because all men want to knack them.
I agree with him

Men like you are part of our problems grin

I also thought there was history between them other than what we saw in the video. I was livid finding out that the man wasn't sleeping with her and she acted that way. Omo!
Initially, I thought so. Maybe as prikkk don enter, respect no dey.

Instead of her fans to be more concerned about how someone that young is running mad over something little, dem dey pass blame up and down.

Life is more brutal than a shove. I wonder how she would handle it, with that much anger.

If the lecturer dey misbehave he is going to have to lock down his prick because if he make mistake knack uno student (willingly or coerced) his arse is going viral.
Initially, I thought he must have been knacking her, because I didn't believe a human being would exist with that kind of anger.

And as Otem would have it, the man has never seen or met her before

Will that man shove a student like that if he was in a saner clime?

A phone is private property, if he was in a saner clime, will he start dragging phone with a student because they showed hesitation in releasing their phones upon request?

In Nigeria's system where anyhowness is normal, the man strikes me as very calm and easy-going, so in that sense, he was without fault.
He asked her to delete the video, which she refused. That was what brought them to the dragging part.

So if a kid was recording you, and you ask the kid to delete it and she refuses, I'm guessing you'll stop the next available bike to the closest police station to report, abi?

And I am surprised that shove is a very serious assault. From conductors, to touts, to our fellow Igbo traders, that girl must have been shoved that fateful week. But na that lecturer own almost break her virginity.

You can argue your case that the punishment is too high, but saying the man is at fault?

Well, your opinion

Theflint1:
The girl's case is one of when in Rome, act like the Roman's.

If that lecturer was in saner climes, I doubt he'd shove a student (however light), the way he shoved the girl. And members of university disciplinary panels are no more incompetent or biased than your average group of Nigerian's in positions of authority. It also doesn't help that the girl in question overreacted, and the court of public opinion expected and demanded she be expelled...slam dunk situation for the school authorities.

However, I do think the girl's situation presented an opportunity for the school to show some tact in the handling of issues (maybe a year's suspension + counselling)...something that isn't them throwing the baby out with the bathwater. The girl's crime was having a rude mouth, and being involved with a scuffle with a lecturer...I don't think her life should get derailed in this manner because of that.

The lecturer wasn't without his faults, he could have handled things better, but we've been conditioned to expect highhandedness from lecturers so we're inclined to think of his role in the fracas as nothing.
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

What exactly is the fault of the lecturer?

You are missing the point and how all this discussion started. Swiz was lampooning 2face for not building a mansion in his village as if that is a true measure of one being rich.

Methinks not everybody fancies the idea of erecting mansions in their villages. I also don't buy the idea of building mansions that will not be out to use for most part of the year. It just looks like wasting money to me.
Swiz was dragging 2face because he feels 2face is rich enough to build something bigger..

Now, I have no issues with anyone who feels building a mansion in his village is a waste. It's his opinion

It is trying to make every decision to be of economic sense that I find funny.

We use Uber of 10,000 when we can jump bus of 2000
You buy a car of 35 million, when you can buy one of 10 million

I don't even see it as a waste. Na your house. You can retire there in your old age.

One time someone had the big idea to raise money by selling company assets

They drew up a list of stations across Nigeria.

Only stations located in lagos and Abuja had any significant numerical value. Because the land was located in prime Real Estate.

Go to most states and the land the station is on may be worth 400k.
In the city? That's not true oh.

The village mansion is a flex and it is the worst kind of flex because the place has no real value. It is not an asset you can use to raise money in an emergency. Not as if houses in villages are in demand for anything outside of the gold circle busters Olympics cheesy
Is everything about raising money to you?

The person pushing a Range Rover 2024, is it raising money for him?

Make una dey take am easy with this level of economic seriousness grin

The person who built a mansion in the village is not hungry, has investments here and there. If he buys a 700 million 2024 Land Cruiser, you will clap for him, but if he wastes that same money on a mansion in his village, it's an economic waste.

It's your opinion but it's a waste of money, in 2025, it will cost you nothing less than 80m to build a mention.

200 million as net worth is too small to splurge 80m on a vanity project. I will rather invest half of the 200m as down payment for a property in the UK. My opinion though, to each his own.

I will rather invest the money in other business enterprise that will fetch me passive income than build a house that will lay fallow for most part of the year.

If the idea is to build and gift it to a close family member, I can do that and hand off the property once if is gifted out. But building for myself and keeping it for there just for people passing by to marvel is not a wise decision in my own books o

Houses built in the village don't serve u more than few days in a year and u still have to be paying regular utility bills. It's not worth it at all.
