The truth is those guys are jobless! They are just normal random guys wey dey normally dey streets. You the kind of boys they call "àwọn ọmọ orí títì".

That's why it's easy for them to always be closeby anytime a real prominent person or yeyebrity is passing by driving an exotic car.

The fact that some of those car owners lower their glass to hand them cash made them to increase in numbers. I learnt from comment section on TikTok that the Olutimi guy was gifted an IPhone 17 Promax and cash to go with it by one of the the people he hailed.

I think that particular incident led to him have competitors straight grin. Now there are quite a number of them in Ikoyi and that link bridge. I won't be surprised if those NURTW agbero guys start collecting remittance from them on order to allow them continue their "business" without disruption.

They are just thieves. The best yield another airport in the South East can add to the region is the paltry revenue they would realize from very insignificant few who would travel down to the east in December via Air. Those people are so few that the revenue realized would not even scratch the surface on the capital expended by the governors to float the airports.

If inflating contract costs and over-invoicing was something so difficult to work Ur way around, trust me most of these so called governors wouldn't even think of building any useless airport.

Runway without returns: South-East and the airport race

By Patrick Okigbo

Without careful planning and even more diligent implementation, an asset can become a liability. The commentariat in South East Nigeria is vexed by this debate as governments across the region dig in for the race to build airports. Several commentators, including government spokespersons, mistake airport construction for an economic strategy. They are eager to risk scarce resources on terminals rather than on the hard work required to build an integrated aviation and logistics system that actually supports production.

Hardly do numbers guide these politically tainted debates. However, Nigeria's aviation data seem to support the proponents of airport expansion. Nigeria's domestic passenger traffic numbers rose by 4.3% from 12.54 million in 2024 to 13.09 million in 2025, while total passenger traffic increased by 5.9% from 16.94 million to 17.94 million. However, taken in context, these numbers signal recovery more than transformation. Nigeria's aviation market remains shallow in a country of more than 200 million people. It is also significantly concentrated in a few cities. For instance, in 2024, Abuja handled about 35% of domestic passengers and Lagos about 33%. Port Harcourt handled roughly 8%, Enugu 3.9% and Owerri 3.3%.

-Okigbo III is a development expert
Any Governor that proposed building an airport in Nigeria just wan thief money

That data proves otherwise

"So, a guy I met on TikTok just two weeks ago got me a car. We started talking recently, and one day he came to meet me in Wuse after I told him I was there.

While we were talking, he asked why I didn’t have a car. I jokingly replied, “Is car biscuit that I can just enter any shop and buy one?” We laughed and that was it.

A few days later, I was complaining about spending ₦13,000 on a Bolt ride to my bank in Utako. I said, “Person suppose get car.” He asked if I wanted one, and I jokingly said, “If they give me car, I’ll collect.”

Two days later, he asked what car I wanted. I didn’t take him seriously. Then he requested my house address, saying he wanted to send me something. I thought it would be donuts or ice cream because I had told him I liked them.

Instead, someone called me to come outside. I saw a man standing beside a car. He handed me the documents, and I was shocked to see the car was registered in my name.

I was excited at first, but my friends had different opinions. One said I should return it, while the other said I should keep it. My mum and siblings all advised me to return the car.

So I called him and thanked him, but told him I couldn’t accept such an expensive gift because we had just met. That’s when he told me he wasn’t trying to date me—he wanted to marry me.

I asked how he could be talking about marriage when we barely knew each other. He said even if it takes forever to know me, he still wanted to marry me. Right now, I’m confused but happy. So, what do you guys think? Should I return the car or keep it...?

All these useless lies on SM needs to be stopped.

How does one register a car in your name, and you're not aware? He needs your NIN to do so. He needs your personal info to do so.

Oil dey ur head bro! U know the drill, Tinubu is not going to sack someone like Gbaja over something worse than this scandal sef. It's like most people don't understand that Tinubu has no problem working with people of questionable character and soiled reputation.

Tinubu made Atiku Bagudu the minister for Budget and planning of this country. The same Atiku Bagudu who helped Abacha launder millions of dollars of our national wealth.

Tinubu handed the biggest project in Nigerian history(Coastal road project) to a company owned and controlled by Chagoury who helped Abacha launder millions of dollars belonging to the Nigerian state.

If you think those are cases that happened in the 90s/early 2000's and don't matter, It will interest you to know that Tinubu's Renewed Hope Ambassador in Taraba state is a man who was banned in 2019 from contesting any elective post in Nigeria for 10 years because he presented a forged certificate to INEC
I have come to admit that anybody defending Tinubu is obviously benefitting from the circle.

It's possible not to see any alternative amongst the 200 million Nigerians.....I agree

But hearing all these abominations and still defending Tinubu, obviously must be from a place of financial gain.

2 more likely than 3. In my opinion

Cos if you have an arrangement where you are able to collect money without doing anything, why will you mess it up

Even if its 10% of the allocation dey enter Adeniyi pocket and the rest going to senior men, thats free money you can be eating for the next 20yrs. I dont underestimate the foolishness or stupidity of some men sha

If na 3, his parrot mouth don put am for trouble, after 2 weeks public go forget, and he don lose his money. Forget say any top govt official will get punished or lose their job. Adeniyi might actually land in jail
According to Adeniyi, the agency was about to receive 27 billion, and Gbaja wanted 48%. This, according to him was the Genesis of their quarrel.

The whole thing is a mess sha. Tinubu would have suspended Gbaja at least, rather than Onanuga coming to say it's a lie

Now, the digging don show say Adeniyi no lie
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:17pm On Jul 04

Either
1. Gbaja does not know about the runs and was surprised someone in govt was running this racket behind him

2. Someone higher up was about to find out and Gbaja decided to throw his racket partner under the bus to save his own behind

3. The Adeniyi guy was growing wings and maybe reneged on his agreement with Gbaja(which will be a stupid thing for him to do) and come blow whistle
I would stick with your options 2 and 3.

Gbaja probably wanted to burst the bubble before it would be traced to him. Unfortunately, na parrot him dey deal with.

By the way, 80% of the clearing and forwarding agents in Apapa and Tincan are from SE
And so?

Are their customers only Igbo people?

The SE has a large number of traders (Importers), but the region itself is not the largest consumers of what they import. That's a fact.

The person importing container at Trade fair, is not selling to only Igbo people. He has customers from all over .

So this idea of relocating your business to the SE is just funny. You think the Customer in Lagos will go through the stress of coming to Onitsha to find you? Another person will quickly import in Lagos and take your place
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 5:48pm On Jul 04
Spy360:
Based on your assertions, explain why an Onitsha based business man will leave Onne or PH and prefer to import through Lagos.

By the way, 80% of the clearing and forwarding agents in Apapa and Tincan are from SE
Because the choice of your port of destination is determined by the Shipper. It is what they make available that you choose from.

And they know that it easy to fill up a 1000 container vessel headed for Lagos than Onne.

This thing is synonymous to airlines. To travel from America to Nigeria, you either land in Abuja or Lagos. It is easier for the airline to fill a plane with Lagos bound passengers than Abakaliki passengers, even though both are International airports.

Do you understand now?

Its Symmetrical, you're also throwing stones, wanna end it here or we can argue more.cool
My point remains that the government’s failure to enforce fair, uniform regulatory oversight across all regional ports plus real world underground shadings is the exact reason why shipping lines find it easy to artificially inflate freight costs for Eastern routes compared to Lagos.
This has to be the funniest shiit I have read this week.

How about this? One thing is certain, I won't repeat what I said earlier. Most times ,Ai is just textbook or surface or how you asked it, it doesn't cover the background shadings happening in the real market.
You cannot even differentiate between Freight cost and clearing cost.

What you posted is the Freight cost. That's what the Shipping line is charging. It has nothing to do with clearing fees.

You said the Federal Government should create a level playing field, and then you begin to quote Freight cost.

What is the FG business with how much Grimaldi or Maersk is charging? grin
