If the call is made by Ooni or Ọba of Lagos, energy would have been different. See as everywhere soft. Nobody bothers to drag Ọba of Benin cos he is.......?!
Welldone bro.
But this was what you posted yesternight?
Abi you don forget so soon
......they don dey roast Ọba of Benin too, maybe na that one man make him say what he said. LOL!
The government is just playing to the gallery with all these talks of NANS withdraws today, Northern Coalition withdraws tomorrow . For over a year the government has gradually become unpopular even among the people that voted for them enmass in the north and south. The government has refused to show workings with their actions , rather all they do is send their SA’s to attack anybody that points out their failure like a rabid dog.
I personally don’t support the proposed protest because from the agenda of the protest I’ve seen , it looks like a protest that will have neither head nor tail. The whole thing just has the usual Sowore’s brashness written all over it.
Talks about scrapping 1999 constitution, scrapping the senate ,restructuring ,releasing Nnamdi Kanu, etc are not something u want to mix with a protest that is supposed to address current hardship in the country . I believe that’s why people like prof Pat Utomi, Femi Falana , etc would be excusing themselves from the protest .
The government is trying to politicize a serious issue and giving it tribal coloration. Something that didn’t work during the ENDSARS sef. Below is a video of those who sacked Oba of Lagos palace and stole his staff of office . They are obviously “Omo adugbo “ and not some “imported thugs”.
Anybody who knows Lagos Island very well will know these are likely the same set of people who torched the government properties in that same axis . Like u rightly said, these guys are not on Nairaland or twitter where the new national anthem is now “Protest in your state and not my state “ .
......surprised you don't know the handle as well. Its created for a purpose - agenda against Igbo and Obidients Movement. It has nothing to do with LASG.
I am not on Twitter like that.
Was just trying shed more light on what it posted
OasisX: ......like I said, its our right to protest. Speak out to the Government, make demands - but peacefully.
But turn it to destruction of facilities and properties ain't gonna happen. I can assure you that our security men and women are ready to ensure peaceful protests, and no break of law and order will be tolerated.
You can't assure me anything, Oga.
Let us just pray that it doesn't get to that level.
If you think Kenya and Bangladesh did not have these same assurances, think again.
Security men and women that are overburdened, is who will keep watch on the streets in the whole 37 states?
No let too much talk and lamba detach you from reality.
......God bless you for shedding clarity with the first line. I don't know if you watched Arise this morning, coz I agree with what Abati.
We have freedom to protest, so the Government have freedom to prevent anarchy. They are already losing the grip before the said protest even begins.
No wonder Falana and Utomi couldn't fully stand with the protesters coz they know they've swayed from the objective.
raumdeuter: This is why some people are trying their best to control it and some stop it. You only know the start you dont know whose property might be affected. I still remember when some guys were tweeting and encouraging the burning of everything until he found out his family properties were affected as well
At the peak of endsars, anyone with a fairly good car or living in an estate became a target even i they had nothing to do with govt
Its your right to protest peacefully, its not your right to disrupt movement and livelihood of others
It is us that understand what is right and not right; or about disrupting movements and livelihood.
There are millions that earn 50 cents or less in a day. People who have nothing to live for.
You think those ones know NLC abi na NANS or Coalition of this and that?
As much as i want a change, i really wish there won't be protest.
All these ones we are typing is from the comfort of our homes. E get people wey don zero their mind for this matter.
OasisX: ....NANS won't join the protest. NLC won't join the protest. But cos an Eddiot posted on X that there will be Oro Festival on the chosen dates, then a whole tribe should be dragged?! LOL!
That person that tweeted that stuff is obviously not living in Lagos. I have never seen a Statewide Oro festival
But then, I am concerned with the way the government is trying to divide and conquer the protest, rather than listen and see how to avert it.
Nigerians are suffering oh, and the people that will protest with their lives are not on social media or under NANS abi na SMA.
You will be surprised at how one small thing will spiral into a full blown chaos.
All these NLC, Ohaneze and blah blah dissociating themselves means little.
When these fed up Nigerians hit the street, you no go believe wetin you go dey read and see online.
raumdeuter: Someone predicted your future was in future telling, priesthood, being a monk and dedicated to the gods but the vaun things of the world swayed you from your calling
bemeruca: This is like saying I don't think the death of George Floyd is real because I have cops acquaintances and they don't go about arresting black men. You are not making sense. I have worked with trans men and women as well as being lectured by a trans woman in my 2nd year in school. My first year he was a man, second year he was carrying a handbag, wearing a skirt and lipstick. Interaction with everyone went down the drain.
Also, I answered your question. More and more children these days are becoming confused about who they are because of the bullshit they push on them
iamoyindamola: Ogbeni if you want prepaid meters go and buy Which one is you are promised, without money it's impossible I got one last year august for 120 single phase They play 🤣🤣
You think if you pay for prepaid, you will get it immediately?
The 120 you paid was through the back door.
The official rate is less than 50k for single phase, but get ready to bear the name "Patience"
......power supply don improve yet no commendation of Penkelemesi on this board. As una cuss am reach, make una use same energy appreciate am small nah.
When i say this guy dey mock Nigerians, una no go believe
northbird: Very fine bro, glad to hear from you. Chai, I still use that spot you mentioned to relax and position for trips whenever i'm around Allen avenue..
Na memories you just bring back like this oh.
I used Bolt in Abuja and PH and nobody dey on AC sef.
But i never bother to ask. I understand the hustle.
monerozi5590: We have licence modular refeneries that are producing locally and not only Dangote like you rightly stated.
They say they want a deregulated market according to PIA. Deregulated market is the total eliminating or reduction of government involvement in the specified industry.
Who is the sole importer of refined petroleum products into the country, the answer is NNPCL. That's the real monopoly. NNPCL can lie but we all know. We all know is a corrupt body.
That's an unfair advantage, NNPC has refinery, they should fix it.
What he is trying to do in this aspect is to protect local productions.
That whole sector is a mess, and only God knows the juju cream Kyari is rubbing daily;
That guy should just leave, so we can know the level of rot in the system.
