nigerians do not kn ow how to tone it down.

nigerians are not the only criminals in south africa, but they are definitely the most hated ones - so much so that we were caricatured in the movie district 9.

we are not the only undesirables in dubai either. but we are the ones who got banned.

we dont have a filter - which is why you will also see videos of us abroad spraying money like clowns.
I was talking about migration, and one saying that posting videos on SM means we are the "loudest"

Do you really think that in a country of 1 billion, people are not making videos of how to game the migration laws of another country?

I’m not forming my opinion from not seeing Indians or Pakistani’s videos online , I’m actually forming my opinion from first hand information from people abroad whom I’ve discussed with .

I also form my opinion from Indians, Lebanese and other Asians in this country .

Nigerians are unusually too loud .

Most people who claim asylum abroad usually formulate lies like “ I am gay and my life is in danger in Nigeria due to anti LGBTQ laws in Nigeria”, “ My life is in danger due to ethnic cleansing/jihadists/terrorism in Nigeria “ , etc.

When such person successfully convince them abroad and gets the asylum , in my opinion it makes no sense for that person to be making videos about such stuff like u gamed the system and u want others to know about it. Who does that ?
We are saying the same thing.

The reason Nigerians are the loudest is because you are only hearing that of Nigerians.

How are we sure there are no videos circulating all around India and China about how to game the system?

We are 200 million, these guys are 1 billionm There's every possibility that they have people making such videos too, over there

I still discussed this with somebody yesterday night.

Nigerians need to learn to know how to eat and not talk while eating . When u eat and talk , there are a whole lot of things that can happen to u. U can choke, the food might drop from ur mouth and even u can attract those that will take away the food from u.

No be only Nigerians Dey japa; Indians, Pakistanis and even Chinese Dey japa well well. Most of them Dey exploit some of these immigration systems in the west and they don’t make annoying videos about it like this one . I don’t know why we can’t resist the urge to put our business online.

I have a friend that is currently in the Ireland that is currently trying to see through the same asylum process . I really fear if this kind nonsense video/vlog will not affect his chances sef 🤦‍♂️
Is it really about being loud?

Are you sure the Indians and Chinese are not loud too?

Remember that your SM won't show you Chinese or Pakistani videos. The algorithms will only pick English related ones.

The bold is untrue .

Dangote is simply fighting a trade war with the importers /depot owners and he’s using the pity method to win people like you to his side .

Read the link below and see the letter written by the depot owners association begging Tinubu not to concede to granting Dangote full monopoly on the Diesel market.

Dangote’s diesel is alleged to have sulphuric content above 700/ppm which is above what the agency recommends , yet he doesn’t want the marketers to source for diesel elsewhere aside his refinery .

https://www.arise.tv/petroleum-depot-owners-urge-tinubu-to-sustain-deregulation-prevent-dangote-refinery-monopoly/

I have attached screenshot of premium times news of match 2021 when major marketers had been opposing Dangote’s call for monopoly . U see say no be today! Dangote simply constructed the refinery hoping he will enjoy monopoly like he did in some of his previous businesses .

Abi did Dangote talk about FG’s 7.2% stake in 2021 too ?

From all indications, it appears Dangote assumed whoever took over from Buhari and Emefiele would sign off on granting him the monopoly he had been mouthing since way back, but alas he has been disappointed .U really need to snap out of that thought that anybody is witch hunting him for that 7.2% / 20% stake issue
Since his Diesel contains 700 kinikan than imported ones, why not sanction him or shut him down?

That should be common sense, yeah. The same diesel wey Dangote dey export to abroad, abi?

When Dangote started, i feared he would want a monopoly, but what that agency said is shameful.

The market is still open sef. How come nobody is selling cheaper even though they can import? Has anybody stopped anybody from importing?

Tomorrow, you can be a businessman and one man that got to DG through padipadi will just come out and condemn your business. There's nothing to support there.

If Dangote's product is inferior, shut it down. Is that not the work of the agency again?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 10:29pm On Jul 18, 2024
BlueRayDick:
They said inferior product compared to imported ones . The agency is a regulatory agency .

Dangote has been clamouring for a monopoly and they have replied to him that they can’t give him monopoly because his product is inferior to those imported .

The onus is on him to come up with evidence that suggests his product is not inferior to those imported products ( if he still believes he deserves the monopoly )

See ehn, Dangote is just a businessman . He’s in it for the profit ; he’s not a Good Samaritan sent by God to Nigerians . He’s playing every card at his disposal to recoup every penny he splashed into the business ; but the FG agency has a duty to watch out for the common Nigerian man.

I don’t feel any pity whatsoever for Dangote . He should face the challenges of he business and sort it out.
Since they are a regulatory agency and Dangote's product is inferior, why don't they shut it down?

That's self sabotage, and it is quite shameful that a government agency would say such about a business.

Since when the man said NNPC has only 7.2% stake in the refinery, compared to the 20% lie that they have been reciting, i am not surprised to read this.

Dangote's product is inferior, and na him Diesel full everywhere.

There has been an exodus of companies and workers from pH to lagos because of violence. Has Ph economy shrunk or grown over the past 10 years?

We settle community in lagos as well. Settle once and you are done. Is that the case in pH?

Work in the ND as a foreigner and you are constantly in a state of paranoia. A guy on our team who was enforcing standards was set up and almost burnt alive. You actually expect to be kidnapped as a rite of passage.

You heard the statement here - them no dey sack indigene. On this platform guys from pH have chided the rest of us for being sissies.

So how come that despite all what you listed, Rivers has the 2nd IGR in Nigeria?

Is it that the cultists and robbers pay tax when they steal?

You just choose to amplify that of Rivers, but these things happen everywhere.

Which one is "it is easier to machete and rob, than to do a 9 to 5"?

I and my team have been in Ogun state for close to 3 months now, and we have visited the King's palace twice, because of Omonile and Boys settlement wahala

So, i can come here and say all Ogun state men are lazy, and all they like to do is sell lands and collect money.

imho, they are all part of it. you think governors are not getting their own cut from oil bunkering etal? when amaechi was governor there was a significant reduction in cult activities and violence in rivers. when wike entered, cult activties resumed, bunkering got to an all time high, and kpofire became so entrenched that there is permanent soot in the air in ph.

it is the same miltants who are pledging allegiance to fubara or wike right now. the governors are complicit in all this. same wike who was insulting chiefs cannot call them to tell them to tell their boys to behave?

I really don't know what to say about Ibimes matter because the fact of the matter is things are very very hard right now for most people and getting worse. It's easy for us to say Ibimes benefactor should have been wiser but the fact is he may have seen his relative in a truly desperate situation and at the end of his rope with all possible sources of support and assistance tapped out.

At this point you are stuck between pragmatism and humanism. Be pragmatic and survive your issue while watching your relative die or be humanist and cut yourself off.

People hoard because its not enough. If its enough and you hoard, you will end up eating your hoarded items by yourself

What if the farmer said he planted 10 hectares of maize just to harvest and be looking at it or burn it? Its his right.
Good.

Then the farmer should not cry when the government opens the borders, kill local production, just to make food cheap.

He chose his strategy. If it favoured him, he would have made money. If it fails, he should take it as a man.

I think what he’s saying is :

High Cost of renting tractor, High price of Urea and high price of agro chemicals affects the price of food eventually .

I think what he’s suggesting is that government needs to find a way to make some/all of the 3 items listed above cheaper so that food can be cheaper than it is.
The whole point was about hoarding

The guy was causing an artificial scarcity so he could make more profit. He was not losing.

If the government provides free tractor; infact dash each farmer one tractor with 10 years fertilizer free, yet the farmer hoards, what's the difference?

The guy hoarded his produce, which is his own business strategy, and he is entitled to it.

When it backfires, and he loses, i do not pity him either. It was a risk in the first place
