BlueRayDick: Even if they don't exempt themselves, already where will they get ransom to pay for every individual in the bus? If for example kidnappers request for N10m each for 16 passengers, shey na GIG or ABC go cough out N160m ?
I read one guy's thread on his experience Birni-Gwari - Kaduna road . The guy is a motor boy for a truck and he narrated how all travellers along that route would stop at the outpost of Birni-Gwari once it's evening , pass the night there and wait till 8am when a military convoy led by two tanks would patrol the leghth of the road. So u just have to drive behind the military convoy to be able to pass safely on the road even during the day. Anything short of that, the insurgents ruling that route would kidnap u or worse still kill u.
https://www.nairaland.com/7986760/horror-see-birni-gwari-kaduna#128215464 Ideally, how these companies handle it is that they negotiate for all the passengers. The problem worsens if one of the passengers go and pay the 16 million. Then you have put everybody at risk. So what they advise is that they all put their resources together to remove everybody. Also, I don't use GIGM and ABC. Any company that forces its drivers to stick to a speed limit, is not for me. |

Na only Lagos, protest is banned and protesters can be arrested,we can go to our state to hold our governors responsible by protesting and grounding economic activities there... They should do so by other means. It is even hypocritical that a state that delivered massively for APC is protesting. What do they want others that didn't deliver to do? Arrest them!. No room for breakdown of law and order. Imagine stoning the convoy of a deputy governor. Are they mad? |

This means Wahala never de end then Haven't you noticed that despite the price of fuel being stable for some months, the cost of transportation still is rising? One reason is because they need to break even from their investment that is closely dependent on the dollar rate. You buy a Sienna in 2021 for 4.2 million, hoping to run it for 2 years, and get your 4.2 million back and buy another one. You get to 2023, making your 4.2 million, but Sienna is now 6 million. What do you do? Nigerians are not greedy sometimes. They just don't want to lose. |

Knowing how greedy Nigerians are, most won't reduce cost of goods. I bought an item for $50 and i exchanged it at 1400/$ Then, dollar becomes 300 tomorrow. If na you, you go reduce your price? Everything is not greediness, brother |

It's simple "Your goals and company goals are not aligned and we regret to tell you that your employment is terminated immediately"
I guess this part shocks Nigerians when they come abroad. You can chat laugh with your boss at 1pm and at 1:30 you receive call from HR and pack your bags and leave But he is not searching in Texas only naa? |

Last season Chelsea conceded almost the same number of goals as arsenal One finished second the other finished at the bottom 10
Recent one City and arsenal are level on point, arsenal have better defence than city but they are ahead of arsenal
We can go on and on that defence win you shiit is a scam Get better attack if your opponent score 5 be prepare to score 10 Simple All your examples are from a league; Still saying the same thing i said. Attack should be the priority. In a tournament, you can go far with a good defence only; That is fact, and Nigeria is your example Shikena |

iamoyindamola: Tell me a team that win a trophy without scoring Even Greece that did community defending knew they have to score first to win Euro 2004 Nobody said scoring means a wonderful attack. You guys are just translating it to mean that. Nigeria's only goal against Cote D'Ivoire was from a defender..A penalty. So na attack bring the goal, abi na defence? You need a goal to win, and with a good defence, it is achievable You need a goal to win, and with a poor defence, it is not achievable Do you understand my point now? |

iamoyindamola: Haba We scored and opponents didn't is that not what outscoring mean and why are you linking our clean sheets success to defense only What if opponents attack is weak Below are the 2 knockout stats we were never outplayed at any time Angola won with 3 goals before they met us. Is that the attack that is weak? Cote D'Ivoire won with 2 goals before they met us. Is that the attack that is weak? You can go far in a tournament with a wonderful defence and poor attack. Time and time again, we have seen it happen. But if your defence is bad, you have a much more bigger problem. |

iamoyindamola: Key point Nigeria are outscoring their opponents It's as simple as that if they didn't score it will end in draw Your "Outscoring" point would fly if the opponent actually scored. Nobody has scored us since Equatorial Guinea, so how can you say we are "Outscoring"? Nobody since Game 1 has scored us, and you think the attack has been wonderful? Nah bro. Your defence is who we should thank |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by izzou(m): 11:02am On Feb 03, 2024 |
iamoyindamola: Lol There's a reason attack is the best form of defence because no matter how good your defense is If your attack don't score you will play draw and I haven't seen anyone win titles by drawing all season That's just 38 points
Even in cup competition you have to score in penalty shootout Scoring in penalty shootout is now under "Attack"? The truth is defence wins your tournaments, while attack wins you leagues. Nigeria has not scored up to 6 goals in the tournament, but they are in the Semis. Some teams made up that number in the group stages, but na house dem dey. If you want to win a tournament, your defence has to be top notch. You fit manage a bad attack till it gets to PK shootout. You cannot do the same for a bad defence. |
