So if the government decides to enforce it sef, they will most likely lose out when it gets to supreme court. Who will you even charge, when your penalty is 100k? BlueRayDick: I just read this paper on the Anambra Burial law. If anything the writer posited in the paper is true, then The law no really make sense. It's understandable that people will flout the law and pay the yeye fine as penalty
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/353258926_Anambra_State_Burial_Law_A_stringent_and_Unenforceable_Law The law made some sense. Don't inconvenience people in the name of burials. I am very sure the overnight wake keep is functional. I attended one last year, and it ended by 9pm. But i wanted Okpa to see the justice he was looking for; A paltry 100k So if you are asking why Obi Cubana flouted the law, the penalty is enough reason for even ordinary me to flout sef |

afrodoc2: It is very easy to talk when it is on paper or when it does not involve you personally. It is one thing to have a view that bombing both terrorists and victims is the way to go, but it is another thing to state that those who do not agree with that method are too emotional.
The solution is to go after them in such an aggressive way that they do not enjoy the proceeds of their crimes or know any peace. Go after their families. Go after their property. Go after their businesses and investments. Make being a kidnapper unconducive for a peaceful like. That is what the authorities should be doing first before just lazily bombing both perpetrator and victim. Very easy, brother. I don't even see how this is effective. The people in the bushes are most likely not the kingpins. Evans was not in the bush, and he had policemen and soldiers on his payroll. Bombing them erases any form of intelligence we can use to nail the moneybags sef |

And it is the players you have that you can use. If your players are good and are professionals, you can be counting on their individual and collective experiences from time to time. If your players are not good, then it boils down on the coach to fashion a way to either win, draw, or minimise loss. See as e exonerate Song, dey blame people wey hustle for 90 minutes. |

Unlimited22: Lol Our coach might even be worse than Rigobert Song, and we played a comparatively worse team in Ivory Coast, but there was no doubting the players commitment to the cause.
For Cameroon, lol. They were lucky not to lose by 6 or 7 goals, no grit, no aggression, losing second balls here and there etc What other sort of commitment did he want from the players? I watched the match, and Cameroun had absolutely no pattern at all. Even if person pass you, it is now left for the coach to revisit his plans and see how he can hit the better team through their blind side. Song was and is daft when it comes to coaching. I hope he removes all of them, and goes into the deep forest of Ambazonia to find patriotism. |

Ibime: This is the way.
I read a piece that said the security services knew where the kidnappers were that kidnapped that family of girls in Abuja and wanted to bomb them to smithereens along with the hostages
I'm inclined to agree with the approach as a deterrent. You can only geolocate these kidnappers when they ring whilst with their victims. If this becomes policy, their hostages will become unfortunate victims but it is better to kill all kidnappers with their victims than allow those kidnappers live because they will go on to kill ten times more. After a while, they will find less risky business to pursue.
These Fulani kidnappers these days are full blown terrorists and murderers unlike the SS and SE kidnappers where you have good chance of living, and they should be treated as terrorists with all the collateral damage that comes with that. This is an unspoken policy the Israelis have with their citizens who are taken hostage. They will rather bomb the terrorists together with their citizens than use a more costly approach that emboldens and equips the terrorists for future ventures I am so sorry for this example, but if your relative was part of the hostages, will this be a better approach? |
