LMAO. Guy, You are not serious.
Na true naa

The story before was that government was subsidising fuel, and marketers were selling it for higher prices in neighbouring countries.

Now, no subsidy again. Fuel is 568. And it is 1200 in neighbouring countries.

So everybody goes home happy again. grin

With the way diesel is skyrocketing, it would soon become a luxury to drink Coca-Cola in this country.

Almost all our industries run on Diesel to manufacture

Road transportation is responsible for 99% of movement of cargo, and heavy trucks use Diesel.

From what I've gathered, people are angry that they had opportunity to effect change through the ballot and some went ahead to vote Tinubu.

Many are doing what is called "siddon-look approach" so all of us can suffer it together. It will be very difficult to get a common voice for any protest now.
Protest ke?

Easy to see why.

Crude has moved from 78 dollars/barrel when 617 was announced to more than 100 dollars/barrel in recent times.

I don't think anyone is saying they are not paying subsidy. I just don't agree it has anything to do with the dollar to naira rate at the parallel market.

The rising price of crude is the main driver
Okay

I understand now

No offence, but i am trying to understand why you are comapring both.

What exactly is the essence of this protest, if not that the instigators are looking for clout?

The NPF has opened investigations. Even Falana has reached out to the family. So what exactly are these protests for?

Just give me a reason why we need this protest
