This is not defending some state governors, but fact is, not all the states have the financial muscle of Lagos and Rivers, let's be guided.

And comparing Ikorodu road to Iwo - Ibadan road, doesn't cut it. Oyo state hasn't finished fixing those roads majorly plied by residents in Ibadan, Ogbomosho, Oyo, Saki, you want him to fix a road majorly plied by interstate travellers.

Makinde needs to get his priority right in the face of dwindling economic fortunes, and I won't blame him on that Iwo - Ibadan road.

I think they decided to bury him as soon as possible cos of how young he was. They probably believe there was no need keeping his corpse lying in the mortuary for too long. There's no rule that specifies how long such corpse can be kept before burial, but the elders always prefer to have such young person buried ASAP so they can focus on comforting the family he left behind in grief

In some places they will do an all night for him where elders and young ones will be drinking from dusk to dawn before proceeding to bury him. When I was little a man in our area lost his son; the above narrated scenario was what happened. I was so young to know their exact tribe but I know there were neither Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa.

Generally, cops in Abuja are good. They even pay fares when they board buses, it was a cultural shock for me when I was new in Abuja.
