larride: There's nothing wrong with majority and minority judgement verdict.
Majority verdict is the ruling judgement while the minority which disagrees with the majority will give a detailed verdict and while he/she disagrees with the majority judgement. So, which one we go hold now? The Rerun or the one wey uphold Ubasinachi? |

BlueRayDick: The fact that the tribunal could not sit physically but the judgement was pronounced virtually due to fear of break down of law & order shows that the rule of law is a joke in this country. Imagine judges dey fear to pronounce the law cos laws may get broken by the people.
From what I read from the PDP's account of the judement, it appears it's likened to the case of Eti-Osa LGA election where Attah will slug it out with Banky W in few polling units which may not really be favorable to one party except reckless rigging takes place Even for the zoom, they should have unanimously given a verdict. Maybe by tomorrow, we will get a clearer picture of things. But i think the judiciary should do better. Shouldn't the Tribunal judges have unified their verdicts before today? Now both parties have run with the one that suits them. |

Itsrm: Reading through the post, I am almost certain the car is not a regular car. That mechanic may even be the best he has found. His options are limited.
If I am wrong and it's a regular car, then I can't make sense of his decision to leave it for 9 months. He said it is a Mercedes GL whatever In major cities, we have auto shops that are very capable of troubleshooting these latest models. Na that 9 month just dey funny. |

I no fit wait for one month before I go enter barrack carry 4 to 5 angry soldiers , roger them better and they deal with the stupiiid mechanic.

raumdeuter: Some time its not the straightforward. They will first start with one part is bad, you buy that, next another part. Its not in Ladipo, I will ask my colleague at trade fair, 2 weeks later. The part no dey but on the next container e go dey. 2 weeks, this part don come lets fix it. He charges you money, fix it, the thing refuse to work, he blames the part and said there is One guy in Aspamda that is the only person who sells original. But it will take 3-4weeks wait
Till 9months go reach
Also because you have already spent some money with one mechanic, you will be hoping he can fix it instead of taking it to another one, start spending all over and he will later blame the previous mechanic
Also know the more hands dey touch the car, the faster e dey spoil What is not straightforward there? 9 months bros. This is different from when you are owed money. If he cannot fish him out, simply go and tow your car and cut your losses. How can you leave your car for 9 months, and you are still asking what to do? |

monerozi5590: I am telling you what the unwritten rule is. He knows already that's why he went behind his boss (Obaseki) to declare his ambition.
If I were Obaseki sef, I would have impeached him through the Edo State HOA. Obaseki don't wanna do that.
He should resign as deputy governor instead of crying like a baby to Obaseki saying please forgive me.
Since he wants to go against his boss, he should resign and go to another party let him go and teste his popularity.
Talking about Tinubu, Tinubu had three (3) deputy governors under a span of 8 years. Three. You are missing my point. Impeaching him means playing god Stopping him from contesting is also playing god An unwritten rule rotates presidency between North and South, yet Kwankwaso contested. Maybe Buhari should have sent DSS to arrest him. If Obaseki is certain that the it is Edo Central that should rule, why stop Shuaibu from contesting? Shebi he will lose there? This is just him playing god. There is no justification for humiliating the guy. I can bet that the Edo Central is his stooge. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:08pm On Sep 27, 2023 |
monerozi5590: How na? Some of those guys are never loyal. Sometimes there are unwritten rules you need to abide by. You have to be loyal to your boss.
Obaseki was the one that dragged him to PDP and they both ran on PDP platform when Obaseki left APC.
Oshiomhole is from Edo North, Obaseki is from Edo South. Now is the time for Edo Central. Simple. Not Edo North again. Shuaibu is from Edo North.
Shuaibu knows this rule already and he is saying he wants to contest.
Obaseki said for fairness sake, this is the turn of Edo Central. Nothing bad with that.
Read this from Oshiomhole.
https://punchng.com/i-didnt-support-deputy-gov-to-succeed-me-oshiomhole/?amp Why not conduct a primary and let the party vote Edo Central? Why make a public shame of the office because you don't want Shuaibu to rule? Even Tinubu that was the blacklisted godfather allowed Ambode to test his powers at the primaries without having to ridicule the office. If Obaseki is as strong as he claims to be, he should let Shuaibu test himself in the primaries. |

donjazzet: It's evident that he wants to implant his stooge in the office after his tenure. The lesson here is that people will reject that. Edolites have a solid history of defying the odds. He's biting the fingers that fed him. Governorship elections have proven to be different from Presidential If PDP no win Edo, APC go win And sadly, politicians from both sides have rotated from one party to another. So na still the same item, different packaging I give up on Nigeria's political system, jare |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 3:49pm On Sep 27, 2023 |
donjazzet: Something is just wrong with nigerian politicians. See obaseki that Edo people rallies around because they hated any hint of godfatherism in their state and now he's basically turned Into one. Silencing any opposition.
I'm sure they will teach him a lesson in the next election. The whole thing is just stupid. Oshiomole himself was voted in as protest against igbenidions godfatherism, then he became one, then obaseki was voted in as a protest against oshiomole. Now he's one. Maybe na LP candidate them go go for next election. He isn't coming back anymore, so not much lessons can be taught to such a person. It is just sad to see that irrespective of political parties, they are all the same. |
