I no see this one. If I can even get it for free I go pick and change cover. Exercise book is now n300.

Let me too chop from apc
You see why I don't see any thing wrong with what the child did.

These things are very normal.

I can bet that a child is currently using this notebook in one of the schools in Lagos, and nobody has sent him/her home.

this election season is different oo
my pikins were telling me that tinubu is an old thief , that peter obi is 40 years old, among other things

go and find any of your nephews and ask them
Are they quarrelling about it? Are they fighting themselves like adults?

Every election is always similar; The perceived rising of good over evil, the coming of a hero over a villian.

If the book cover was a problem, we would have heard that there was fighting, and that was why she was sent home.

No be today we dey use anything wrap book. No be today we dey carry branded school bags and biro go school.

Abi is there any law saying this book is not allowed in schools?

my own understanding is that coverings of your school books should be plain. in my day i used the white side of old calendars. for my pikin, i buy brown paper. as far as i can recall gaudy or distracting covers for books are frowned upon, much less politically partisan covers.

if this is true that parent better find another school for her pikin. she has put a target on the childs back. na now you go find out school policy says latenes three times na expulsion

sanwo wey dey take from all orifices in the name of election?
Let's not even start drawing out laws for cover of books or not.

It was just a cover. The only person that got offended by the cover was the teacher. If that cover was APC branded, we would not hear all these stories.

All my years in secondary school, i did not quarell or find students keeping malice because of difference in political affiliations.

Sending the child home was uncalled for. The worst would have been for the child to remove it, which doesn't make sense to me sef

That's not the point. I know much about the education sector in Lagos state and how they always treat such cases. When parents write petitions against principal/headmaster sef, na big issue under Sanwwolu's government.
You are talking as if the education sector in Lagos is Havard-esque. Na still the same public, low standard students and typical government staff dey there.

The reason this issue is trending is because of the time it happened.

If Sanwo-Olu wins, that woman will sit down there gidigba and we won't hear a word about it.

BRT driver wey kill person sef, wey Sanwo-Olu give press conference, the matter still lie low, talk less of covering book with Obi poster

Somebody that has already been recalled by the ministry of education? When I say she will be thrown under the bus, I mean she will be made the scapegoat.

She will certainly be transferred from the school and may get an unfavorable posting. Imagine she is transferred from Epe to let's say Badagry or Ejigbo or Isolo. Do u know how she inconvineiced she and her family that are already settled in Epe will be ?
The moment Sanwo-Olu wins, even you sef would have to go to Epe to find out what happened.

You dey long this out unnecessarily

Let me break it down for you

Local mod is voluntary unpaid position as per your passion just like the travel guy who is passionate, but just like air.mark who is mod of music section and just dey cruise. You can feel free to apply for mod of sports section if you feel you have the time. We haven't had mod on ground since Ogbeche japa to Germany

You have one or two supermod who cover multiple sections, of which you don't know the level of contractual engagement and cant expect them to be abreast of every thread. That is the supermod of this section. Their engagement only comes when they are alerted to something, same as lalastic.lala and co. With Arise TV, we know their level of contractual engagement and what they are paid to do.

Feel free to apply if you want travel section level of scrutiny. Simples.
Local mod na voluntary unpaid position?

Seriously?

The problem of Ogun State Governors is that most of them prefer to work in their area.

The same way Amosun concentrated on Abeokuta is the same way Dapo is concentrating on Ijebu. All other areas of the states be damned.

If the Yewa people get elected, same thing go happen.
Which part of Ijebu is experiencing infrastructural growth compared to what they are generating?

Me I dey pity them for Ogun state sha . Obasanjo their son was president for 8 years and didn’t even influence infrastructural development to the estate (which is not a bad thing sha ) unlike what I observed in the north where northern governors take projects to their home town and local governments because it’s their turn . Now they’ve had unserious governors too…. I wonder what their governors do with all the money they make in that state due to its close proximity to Lagos sef .

Now Dapo is promising these one beers and whiskey when there are enough roads to be built, hospitals that need upgrade , etc ……
Dapo Abiodun lo kan

As in; Ogun state where a lot of roads in deplorable roads abound o! 😳

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMYuC8Gmc/
Ogun state has to be one of the worst states in Nigeria, compared to what they generate.

I no dey kuku like stats for Nigeria matter, because it doesn't tell 1% of the true story.

In fact is I remember correctly it is how our very first speaker was ousted. Something about a fake degree. A lot of people are coasting on made up or inflated credentials. Na when you enter politics your enemies will run oppo research. At that point your competence doesn't matter any more.

The deputy of David Lyon case that caused the disqualification of APC had the same name on its WAEC, na degree and masters degree the names varies.

But then, make we dey look.
I think it is the same thing with what afrodoc2 is saying.

What certificate he tenders is what matters.

If he submitted only WAEC before INEC and the court, then he is good to go (assuming the WAEC has Gbadebo)

It is not about whether he attended MIT or not. It's the simple fact that hes using different names on his certificate to the one he submitted to INEC.

What he submitted to INEC is Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and what is on his certificate is Patrick Rhodes-Vivour. It's a different thing if its Gbadebo Patrick Rhodes-Vivour or Patrick Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour that's on the certificate.

Again, I will refer you to go and read the Supreme Court Bayelsa judgement and see how APC candidate was disqualified after winning the election.
Did he submit a certificate bearing Patrick to INEC?. That should be the first question.

If he submitted WAEC bearing Gbadebo, then he is good to go.

Sanwoolu says old notes are legal tender but on his Facebook page u can see people saying that the government owned EPE general hospital doesn’t accept old notes, LAGFERRY and BRT cowry agents do not accept old notes a form of payment for recharging their cowry card….

If the state government cannot deal with these people that are close to the state government ; how will they deal with private businesses rejecting the old notes ?
Instead of all these governors to mount pressure on Emefiele, na eye service all of them they do.

No bank is accepting old notes as deposits; that's the problem.

As long as they are not accepting it as deposits, anybody dealing with bulk of raw cash won't accept it. That is the reason why Fuel stations would never accept it. The one i saw accept it, was selling fuel at 400/ltre

I don't blame EPE General hospital or LAGFERRY for declining. If dem collect am finish, where dem wan pay the money?

Those ones are insensitive trolls with sawdust in their skull.

The news itself is even my concern; a commercial bus driving against traffic causing death of an innocent motorist. Every blessed day these Yellow danfo buses always drive against traffic on Carter bridge from the Idumota end of the bridge to the roundabout that goes to Iddo. They do this cos they don't want to go and turn . As early as 6.15am sef when the day is not yet bright u will see them facing u with their full light not working o.

Yet there's a police armored personnel carrier and police patrol car stationed on the very close to where they start the one-way journey. I honestly don't know how many people needs to lose their lives before the police and other security agencies clamp down on these danfo people.
One VIO guy on radio said that the reason why they don't clamp down on Danfos is because it is political.

Arrest them, and you’ll have Alausa to answer to
