TrebleChamp: How did he work hard for APC? Buhari has always be very loved and popular in the North, and won the most votes in Northern since 2003. Tinubu supported Atiku for President in 2007 under his (Tinubu) Action Congress party, Atiku came a distant 3rd. Tinubu supported Ribadu for President under his (Tinubu) ACN party in 2011, Ribadu came 3rd behind Jonathan and Buhari. 2015 was a combination of many factors like Rochas helping Buhari garner votes in the South East, Saraki delivering Kwara to APC and so on. The margin of victory in Lagos was even narrow sef for APC, yet people will falsely claim Tinubu made Buhari President. Buhari rode on his popularity in the North, and support from others like Tinubu, Saraki, Rochas, Amaechi but to name a few. Tinubu did not contest for President since 2007 when PDP was in power, cos he new he stood no chance of winning. He is just trying to use APC status to achievement his life long ambition which is to surpass Awolowo's legacy. Osinbajo is a far better and qualified candidate to this Ancestor called Tinubu..... My brother, unless we want to deceive ourselves, that man deserves to be the consensus candidate sef. APC is an alliance between CPC, ACN, and some stowaways from APGA. CPC faction has ruled, and you're saying Osibanjo? I no be Tinubu fan oh. But I wasn't even expecting them to do any primary sef. That guy deserves to be their candidate |

larride: The country needs someone who have the capacity to think and ACT. A visionary who is ready to lay a solid foundation for future generations.
We have a revenue problem. Expert has shown in Lagos with his ingenuity that he has the capacity to raise revenue through his fiscal and economic policies. When OBj withheld Lagos State allocation in 2004, Tinubu devised ways to increase the state allocation. Today, the state average an IGR of $40bn every monthly more than what they receive from the federal purse.
We have security problem, RRS Lagos was created by Tinubu (from the defunct operation sweep unit, a joint unit of army, naval, police and mopol) and turn it into a police only unit to combat growing crime in the state. Fashola took it a notch higher by creating a Lagos State Security fund a public-private security funding which caters to the welfare and operational cost of the unit. Today RRS Lagos is the model security unit in the country. Tinubu can definitely reposition out policing. He has done it before and he will do it again.
Diversity: Tinubu is no tribal bigot and he will work with anyone who can get the job done and this is seen clearly from his time as Governor of Lagos state. Lai Mohammed - Chief of staff in his first term was from Kwara State Yemi Osibanjo - Commissioner of Justice and AG was from Ogun state Wale Edun - Commissioner of finance was from Ogun state Arthur Worrey - Commissioner for land was from Delta State Rauf Aregbesola - Commissioner for work was from Osun State Akabueze - Commissioner for budget and planning was from Anambra State Dele Alake - Commissioner for information was from Ekiti State Sunday Dare - Special adviser was from Oyo State
It’s clear that when you mention Tinubu, you mention inclusion.
Tinubu has also the political clout and influence across regions to keep the cabal at bay. He cannot be described as weak or a pushover.
Tinubu will not fix all our issues in 8yrs but he will set us on a path of success and a better country. What becomes of McOluomo? That guy is frustrating business with his boys Make Una help us |

BlueRayDick: 1. Tinubu is an embodiment of corruption. 2. Tinubu is nepotic and doesn't believe in merit. Nepotism is one of the ills that brought us to this point as a people. 3. Tinubu legitimize hooliganism in Lagos State. Some may argue that this is not as bad as it seems considering how it has reduced crime, but until you have an encounter with these guys being a law to themselves u will understand the danger it portends for our future. 4. Tinubu is physically sick. No one needs to remind you of how voting a sick Yar Adua ended for us neither does anyone needs to tell you how Buhari's constant attention to his health has affected Nigeria as a nation. 5. Tinubu is one of the major actors that sold the bad product called buhari to all Nigerians. His sense of judgement should never be trusted going forward
These are but few reasons why reasonable people are actually wishing Buhari does not become Nigeria president come 2023. Buhari will not be our president in 2023, in Jesus name |

Do u know who Kwankwanso is ? He was a 2 time governor in Kano State, He contested against Atiku at a time when PDP zoned the party ticket to the north just to defeat Buhari. Guess what ; Kwankwanso also shared dollars at the primary but Atiku still got more of Kano delegates' votes . That is the track record of Atiku's dollars. Just this week alone, we have seen people share money, lose, and go back to retrieve it. Truly, it isn't money alone for the delegates Buhari once had a minister and she said she owed her loyalty to Atiku (I can't remember her name). Na this kind people you go find on primary elections. People that owe their loyalty to someone else. I just pray he won't speak another grammar when the results are out. Seyi Makinde wey never rule two times dey assure Wike of SW votes. Itsrm: My thoughts
Those of us who have been following events closely already know Wike will win the election.
SS delegates is under lockdown. Makinde and Fayose are his very strong allies which means SW delegates votes is also under lockdown.
He also has ENUGU, ABIA delegates under his control. IMO and Ebonyi will likely swing in his favour same as Benue and Plateau state. It will not matter what happens in the NE/NW.
Obi has been scheming to be Atiku's VP all these while. When it became clear to him that Wike was going to win the primaries baba left.
Wike wins, the VP slot is off the table. There's asolutely no way the presidential aspirant and VP will come from the SS and SE.
All those ones Doyin Okupe was saying about buying delegates with dollars is just stories. It was the same dollar Atiku used to buy delegates in 2019 and had Obi as vice. I would really love to swallow my L concerning Wike. There's a reason presidential hopefuls are spending their energy up North. You sef know say Wike no go get Shi Shi from there. I can't wait to swallow my L. But I am sure he can't win that ticket. |

donjazet: That's just one aspect of it, but you're correct, the fact that he's not been in the system for more than 10 years now is a key selling point.
Secondly, he is famed for being stingy, Peter obi had a lot of political problems because he was not the greasing of arms type. He fought against the likes of victor umeh them because they wanted access to Anambra state coffers and he refused. He refused to play the politics of godfatherism.
He was able to come back to Anambra governorship seat through the Catholic archdiocese, the states labor union and the civil service. Anambra is deeply religious state and the priests and bishops are quite active in political issues. And he cajoled them by giving them back control of a lot of schools in the states. anyways, I digress.
Peter obi's famed frugality is what we desperately need right now.
Pros of a peter obi presidency; 1. Lowering the cost of governance. Be rest assured that all this news we used to hear about aso villa clinic taking 5 billion yearly will be a thing of the past. Excessive aides and offices will be made redundant. 2. Putting together a team of technocratic government. Peter obi's commissioner of health was a medical doctor, his commissioner of works was an engineer. His commissioner of education was a retired state principal. It's only irrelevant posts like women affairs and so that he used for political compensation and the likes. Key jobs are given to professionals in that field.
3. He will close those leaking taps. I'm sure corruption will be minimized because stopping corruption starts at the top. He has consistently said that politics made him even poorer.
4.He's a hands on person; unlike the skeleton at aso rock right now. He's not the delegate type that delegates everything. He's a workaholic. Him and wike are very similar here.
5. He's not a part of the current system. Nigeria needs revamping, not a continuation. We need a full about turn in the direction we're heading and Obi is that breath of fresh air.
I've made my case for him. The disadvantage of men like tinubu, wike, osinbajo, atiku is that they've all been part of the system. They continue to raid and loot our national Treasury, we need an end to that. If not Obi, hopefully someone new. Politics made him poorer? I don't have anything against the man, but..but ... |

Wike: How would he have won? I went to Anambra and told them "don't waste your vote on him, he won't win." Since Peter Obi left APGA, first as a Governor, we have not won elections in Anambra, check it. But that is not the issue, at that level, there must be integrity, there must be character. How can you go to virtually all the States telling them how he is a trader, how his family are traders, how he wore one shoe, how he doesn't let anybody carry his bag, all those things. Three days, he has left the Party, Character and Integrity is very important. |
