I somehow find it weird that the whites will determine the best African song for an African.

No anti venom in hospitals, I doubt there are any anti venom anywhere.
My sister was a victim of snakebite too it was an ancient man that saved her.
He sucked out the blood and tore the whole of her affected leg, he was also able to find and kill the snake.
That was when I took snake documentaries seriously there's no species of snake I can't differentiate just for my safety.

I've never been a fan of foreign music sha. At a time when people were miming 2pac, biggie and other foreign hip hop acts back in the days, I saw those period as boring and dark days.

Back then I hated watching AIT Lunch time programs because they play so much foreign music. The few Nigerian songs they played were all those Dr Alban's Carolina that had snake in the video 🤮 . Those late 90's and early 2000's i hated watching TV because they played all those foreign music I couldn't relate with like "who let the dogs out ", " trap song " , " celine dion " , " puff daddy and ket evans - every step i take ", sisqo, etc. Even tho my sisters would buy all those music lyrics book to learn the lyrics and sing the songs when they played on TV, I just didn't like those songs.

When the era of dem 2face , maintain and later dem 9ice , Dbanj and Don Jazzy , etc came around in the late 2000's , I whole heartedly welcome them . I would watch TVC's music africa for almost 3 hours listening to better african songs I could relate with .

Till date , i find all those foreign songs unsinspiring no matter how popular the foreign artist is either as a rap artist or R 'n' B. Thats why i woukd always regard dem Keke and D1 for what they did to make Nigerian music what if is
I think our environment shapes our style of music

I grew up in a home where relatives loved hip Hop and rap, so I loved it.

I also flowed with the Nigerian wave too. Kennis Music was the Real Madrid of record labels then.

Captured mental health issues, depression, and everything. That song follows me everywhere, from the days of Walkman to this streaming era. Timeless jam! cool

This year Halloween fell on a weekend, me and geto boys were trick or treatin' robbing lil kids for bags till an old man got behind our ass

So we speeded up the pace took a look back and he was right before our face

He be in for a squabble no doubt, so I swung and hit the nigga in his mouth

He was going down we figured, but this wasn't no ordinary nigga, he stood about 6 or 7 ft now that's the nigga I be seeing in my sleep.

So we tripled teamed on 'em, dropping them motherf**cking Bs on 'em
The more I swung the more blood flew then he disappeared and my boys disappeared too

Then I felt just like a fiend, it wasn't even close to Halloween it was dark as f**k on the street, my hands were all bloody from punching on the concrete

God damn homie, my mind is playin tricks on me
Timeless jam, my Chief

Stumbled on Naughty by Nature again, and I really miss that era.

I wept cry cry cry cry

Thank You.

I want to ask; Is it a bad idea to use AC while on Inverter? (At least 1.5 Horse power split unit)
Just use it when it's sunny.

Avoid using it at night, or when the weather is cloudy. It would drain the battery

Another "Drainer" of battery is going to be your pumping machine. Unless you have the Solar pumping machine, just pump water when it's sunny, and not at night or during cloudy weather

But if you don't understand the whole dynamics of the setup, always know what your load is...If you know this, you can determine if any suggestions is right or wrong for you.

Just do a little inspection of your appliances.

Light bulbs - 20W..and maybe you have 12. That's 240W for lights

TV...Maybe 100W

Fan...Maybe 40W, and you have 3...

Blah blah blah....The total of all of them is what will determine the size of your inverter.

Also, buy inverters that are bigger than your load capacity. If your total load is 5000W, buy an inverter that's bigger...Don't buy exactly the size, because you may add an appliance unconsciously, and your inverter would trip off.

You'll be fine, sir

I think Reno seems to miss the point as to why Sowore presented his video as evidence.

Sowore is not trying to prove if what was said there was correct or not!

DSS is charging Sowore for calling Tinubu a Criminal

Sowore presented Reno's video as evidence to show that someone else called Tinubu a "Drug Baronn" and DSS didn't do anything, but rather, the President made him an Ambassador

DSS didn't have any reply to that, and the court admitted the evidence

Reno just dey talk up and down since yesterday. He hasn't still understood what Sowore is trying to prove.

NDLEA and Nigerian Immigration Service are actually professional when you meet them on the road when traveling.

Once u don't carry exhibit NDLEA will be cautious to u and allow u go after engaging you for few minutes.

Immigration officers too, they are most likely interested in seeking out all those illegals from Niger, Chad, Cameroun, etc who are in naija without proper documentation. They won't bother u once they can identify you as a Nigerian
As for Immigration, dem no be professionals sam Sam

If you go to close to the border frequently, you'll see their anyhowness.

This one sounds like it happened abroad. Cos in Nigeria, Normally they will arrest him and have him cough out some huge sums before being released.

If this is how all our law enforcement agencies operate, our country will be sane.
All the times I have encountered NDLEA when traveling, they have been professional.

As long as you don't have anything suspicious, they search and go.

Normal powder ko, Dusting powder ni.
I know someone who almost went to jail because of this in Nigeria.

He was a Driver, and while he was at that park, someone brought an envelope to send as a waybill.

The person said it was a document that was there, so he didn't open it.

While on the journey, NDLEA stopped him, searched the vehicle and searched the envelope. Behold, a small nylon was inside with white powder. They arrested him

Because they believed his story, they sent their agents in Benin to go to the park (He was heading to Benin), and call the recipient that the waybill has arrived.

That was how the Weyrey showed up, and they arrested him. Na wetin save that guy be that.

The northerners fleeing to the south are influencing and entrenching religious conservatism. That is likely where this is coming from. Esp in Oyo a very politically active state where elections can be won on razor thin margins. I think it is a conscious and deliberate gamble

You're just being blinded by sentiments

There are many SE states or cities moving freely on Mondays and some people especially private business men chose to sit at home.

All those reasons of "It doesn't affect you as a Christian" will disappear when that time comes.

I'm more than shocked, I thought the average igbo business man loves his shop like a second bride.

There is no way Onitcha main market won't be secure for trading, be it on Monday or on Wednesday.....most of those thugs formenting trouble have been killed or arrested, so why promote such inactivity.

There is and have never been any basis for this useless sit at home.

Soludo should hold his nerve, if on Monday they refuse to come out, lock the market further .......he has secured his second term mandate already.
People who love foolishness must get sense by force.
It has become a habit. Years upon years have gone by, and suddenly, it sounds like a doctrine
