morpheus24: At least you used a fine boys face to depict Morphy crying.
***AHHHHH SHAME*** in Somizi's voice. Is this you coming out of the closet and making a confession that you are into fine boys? ...Morphy! Is there anything else I need to know?

morpheus24: That your cape town colored hoodlum turned Jozi thug started the problem when he can't shut that mouth of his on twitter, trying to defend and indefensible act.
Burna boy na area boy who is very Afrocentric and even though he did not know all the facts, was genuinely pissed off at your Xenophobic brothers and sisters.
Go and hug transformer, the real Africa loves Oluwaburna and his works speak for themselves.
Haters! Morphy as he typed all that...

gallivant: It can be a good tax base, but they don't pay taxes in Nigeria. They have oil unfortunately it fluctuates and it's not reliable. Majority of the population has to be employed in order for the country to benefit from tax. |

TayserMahri: What shocks me is that you will hear some saying that their middle class is rising at the same time when poverty is rising. How is that possible. Unless the middle class is being boosted by the super rich dropping down the ladder.
Where are the new poor people coming from? If poverty is rising it means people who were previously in middle class are now becoming poor, because the poorest cant become anything else, and the poor were poor anyway so the rise in poverty has to be coming from elsewhere I don't think there can be a lucid explanation of the discrepancy.Another thing that I highly doubt is that Nigeria has the powerful economy on the continent. |

TheApologist: what's the population of Christians in the listed countries, they are all hostile to the existence of any religion aside Islam; can a pastor dare go to Saudi Arabia to preach and leave there alive? A Muslim can easily go to a Christian dominated country and practice Islam without fear of any intimidation from any quarter. That's basically a huge difference between the two religions and you can easily relate with that The only religion not tolerated in Dubai is Judaism |

Goel: For every extreme poor person, India has 40 people out of poverty. It has 1/6 of world's population and is like a separate mini-world. You can't compare India to any other country in terms of numbers. Use percentages.
Other factor that also plays a role is quality of statistics. Unlike war-torn Africa, India has regular and well organized census covering every citizen. In Africa's case data wasn't reliable and hence, Nigeria and DRC may already be having more poor people than India. Many African nations don't know their real populations.
Indian system is more effective to tap its poor. So, when India will release 2021 census data, it will find much more poor people than World Poverty Clock data. So don't worry, India will most likely itself come and say that it still has bigger number of poor people (doesn't care what is quality of data of Africa, nor Indian people do).
Tough luck for naija if India also finds similar data about itself or stops covering extreme poverty ($1.9/day) to move to $4-4.5/day revision. You are the only intelligent person I engaged with on this matter.I can't really counter this lucid piece

theenchanter: because it comes from a politician.... Nigerian politicians are second to satan in lying.
Look, stop blaming immigrants for ur troubles, if they are, just create a strict immigration policy, thats all. So is it possible that they also lied to you about your "large middle class"? Because is not politically correct to state facts about immigrants? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by JaceBlaze: 6:11pm On Jan 23, 2020 |
theenchanter: [s]how did i lied behind mathematics? I checked ur popluation figure on google, it showed 56.7m (2017), even of u added 1m babies every year, it'll amount to 58.7m, is that not almost 60m? but i don't expect a saffer to know little things like this, since its not a selected economic empowerment programme.
The second part of ur post is a result of brain malfunction... just give ur brain a rest n u'll be alright.[/s] Your imbecility is mind boggling. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by JaceBlaze: 5:56pm On Jan 23, 2020 |
theenchanter: why not bring a reputable source to back up this claim cos i don't want to bring ur politicians word on poverty in SA....
About d immigrants....i've left that behind. What makes that one disreputable? Because you can't give me a valid reason why you think immigrants are blame-free..I understand. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by JaceBlaze: 5:53pm On Jan 23, 2020 |
theenchanter: i rounded it off, if u did maths in school, u should have known, but as a saffer.. u did meths instead of maths.
And if ur population is declining, its not because u moderated breeding.... its because u mug most to death! Hiding behind mathematics to hide the fact that you were caught lying? ..almost clever. Wtf are you talking about? anyway, don't you think a decline in population can be a blessing because the number of mouths to feed would be less disproportionate to the scarce resources? but I don't expect a Nigerian to understand the concept of proper family planning,ya'll would rather procreate and bring more babies into an already dysfunctional country..smh |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by JaceBlaze: 5:41pm On Jan 23, 2020 |
theenchanter: and when u inflated urs to 110m extreme poverty, did i call god of thunder to strike u?
Or do u think only SA has poor african immigrants? This only show the mindset of d average saffer, always putting d blame on immigrants.
U have poverty, simple as ABC, don't blame immigrants for ur misfortune. I didn't inflate anything sir! the source below will tell you. There are more immigrants in SA than anywhere in Africa and they come with their poverty,so yes! immigrants are part of SA's setbacks so why should I live them out?

Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by JaceBlaze: 5:33pm On Jan 23, 2020 |
gallivant: The 110 is just those in abject poverty. You haven't considered those who are just poor or the civil servants earning peanuts. Sure, the remaining 90 million will be divided between the low-income earning civil servants and the extremely rich. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by JaceBlaze: 5:29pm On Jan 23, 2020 |
theenchanter: ok, South Africa's poplulation is around 60million, if 55% or about 32m are living in poverty, which means d number of poor people trumps that of the rich by half, coupled with ur gigantic inequality rate.....
Are u done solving d rubix cube? Inflating numbers again. We're 54 million, not 60 .We moderate our breeding here because we're smart. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by JaceBlaze: 5:25pm On Jan 23, 2020 |
theenchanter: so, why's 55% of saffers living in poverty with all ur sophistication? Don't ya'll just love inflating number to suit your deluded narratives? The percentage of poor people in South Africa is 40% percent, not 50, and given the fact that there is also a large number of poor African immigrants that should not be a surprise at all. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by JaceBlaze: 5:16pm On Jan 23, 2020 |
theenchanter: Nigeria has the largest number of people living in Africa, the largest number of people living in poverty, and also one of the largest middle-class population in Africa.
Its all about numbers. Am I solving a rubix cube here? does the bolded even make sense? Okay,Nigerian population is estimated to be around 200 million.Out of the 200 million you have 110 million living under extreme poverty, which means the number of poor people trumps that of rich people by over half. |
