Nigerians have been migrating abroad long before the country got independence.. A lot of Nigerian descent individuals abroad are making the county proud in various aspects of life . Eg Anthony Joshua.. check the Ivy league schools enrollment rate for African students... Nigerians dominate the list ..it simply means that Nigerians have what it takes to prosper anywhere they go. The same can't be said of South Africa... they are afraid of new challenges..

Talking about football,some of the greatest players to ever come out of Africa are Nigerians who started their football careers in Nigeria...go figure...

I don't know why South Africans have this delusional belief that most Africans who are living abroad for one thing or another are there because they can't access such things in their country...they believe that South Africa is the best country in Africa and their citizens don't have to travel out...it reeks of inferior complexity..

Take football for instance,a lot of South Africans I've argued with about football think that Nigerian footballers are all over Europe because our league is dead..they say their players don't need to move to Europe because their league is the best on the continent ...but the reality is that their players don't move abroad because they aren't good enough... It's the same with most of their citizens..the average black South African is lazy and depends on the government for survival through social aid...that's one of the reasons they hate foreigners in there country... If they travel out,how would they survive? What will they achieve? .. There are dozens of Nigerians who live abroad or where born there that have made breakthroughs in various aspects of life like science and technology,literature and music,sport,etc... How many South Africans?
They don't travel because they don't have the survival instinct..they are holed up in their country depending on their government, and hating on hard-working foreigners in their country....

All these things that Nigerians achieve abroad why can't they go back home and impart the knowledge they obtain abroad among their helpless citizens? I don't know why most Africans like to assume that South Africans don't travel lol.The difference between us and the rest of you is that 9 out of 10 you meet a Nigerian in a foreign country he is either running from Boko Haram or he is an economic migrant while a South African will be there for a legit business trip or scholarship.Show me a south african jumping other countries' borders for a better life (you'll wait 100 years before you see that) .We not saying that South Africa is a perfect country cause that would be a barefaced lie but it is hands down the best country in Africa and if anyone disagree then let him come and explain the one way traffic of migrants into South Africa.
