Wow, why arent you more Outspoken?
After working in Nigeria with Nigerians, I have realised that 7 out of 10 Nigerians are mad.

I don't need that madness directed at me.

I will be outspoken like Seun when I'm the best in my industry. you know, when you are so good that your reputation speaks for you and silences naysayer.

you have made your point... i was once like you.....eat your food and let be since i prefer to starve.

i also observed that i was physically, spiritually and mentally weak as an atheist....than as a christian.....the Op is actually right. Atheists are actually weaker than Christians.....i have been both and know the difference grin grin grin grin grin grin
felixomor:
Thank you sir for your confirmation.
false.

being an athiest in nigeria is one of the hardest things to do mentally.

I still go to church to appear as an "upright man" in the society to friends and family. I have to listen to a preacher preach nonsense I don't believe in for hours.

When people talk about religion or churches, I have to keep quiet and smile with the religious bullshit.

Atheists have to keep calm in an unending stream of religious intolerance in nigeria.

If we were really as immoral as christians claim, we would be with machine guns tearing up churches and mosques
Celebrities › Re: Aneke Twins Spend Valentine In Orphanage (Photos) by JackBizzle: 11:30am On Feb 15, 2017
I really dislike celebs and their attention-whoring with unnecessary photos.

However, this is good- these twins made some children happy on vals.

Sorry Oga atheist no vex, at least some peeps trust you guys.
It's not all bad.
I just can't be one of them.
Even when given facts, you still act in denial.

Keep trusting pastors and priests with your life/children. They are more likely to fail/molest than atheists.

Be believes sex orgies are fun. They believe pornography is alright. The thought of leaving my kid in a company of someone this evil just wares me down.

If I have a job which takes too much of my time, to the point where i need a perverted reprobate to watch over the Child God entrusted into my care to raise for the Kingdom of God, i will resign.

No Antichrist's recruit comes near my Child.
Yet most child molesters are christians- pastors, rev fathers and church goers.

In Islam pedophilia is very acceptable eg marrying young

UyiIredia:
My morality stems from my ability to think.

And atheists have a basis for their morality. Their humanity.

There is no universal standard of morality particularly in religion. This is why different religions have different ideas of morality and even in the same religion people have different morals.

On the contrary, I would argue that most are Christians. It is a FACT that many Nigerian Christians live promiscuous lifestyles.
Nice one, Uyi!
Christianity Etc › Re: . by JackBizzle: 4:45am On Feb 13, 2017
Muafrika2:
You are no atheist. undecided Though am not sure of your point of reference of moral ideals.

Am referring here to a point of reference of morality. Not the morality itself.

An atheist refuses to acknowledge a universal standard. The truth is that most gays, and people living careless and openly promiscuous lifestyle (read sexual freedom) are atheist too.
There are a lot of gays in the church. Even gay bishops.

Morality exists both before and without christianity.

Please, reason.

Muafrika2:
Your Kids won't have a moral compass, hopefully you are not one of the hateful and foul mouthed atheists who can't stop insulting the supposedly nonexistent God.They will learn to insult and disrespect everyone else.

But God will always get to his own, if he happens to choose one of your kids as his, or even one of you.
Don't you notice that the worst set of people in Nigeria are the religious people?

If it is not the fraudulent pastors, it is the book haram bombers.

Surely you know that morality is innate and far deeper than any religion.

Nigerians with your mentality embarrass us abroad. People like you find it difficult to relate with Buddhists, Sikhs and pagans abroad.

Please learn to be tolerant. Just even look at the current Pope. Even atheists love the guy because he actually tries to reach others of different beliefs.

texanomaly:
First of all...people are human. Just because a man/woman is religious does not automatically make them better humans and more trust worthy. On the other hand, being an Atheist does not make one a degenerate and less trustworthy.

There are those who would say, "Don't judge others," but when it comes to family safety and business dealings, doing just that is mandatory.

Getting to know a person is the only way to judge character. It is more important to look at what a person does than what they claim to be. Actions speak louder than words or religion/non religion when it comes to judging a persons character or moral compass. People are seldom what they claim or appear to be on the surface...ironically especially "religions" people.

How will I have someone who think its okay for a man engage in bestiality just because the majority approves of it, to babysit my child? I can have atheist as friends but in business, its a big NO.
Ironic. When that same child grows to an age when he/she can read, you would introduce the child to incestuous stories of Noah, Abraham and Lot.

I am not anti atheist pr even anti muslim. Everyone has the right to believe what he wants. However i have made it clear that i am very anti Islam. Islam is a political ideology that wants to dominate the world and turn everyone to allah worahipping robots.

I dont agree with the atheists world view but that does not mean i cant have productive friendships with atheists.
Hehe.

I think you are wasting your time on islam on Nairaland.

Even Seun has given up on the islam section.

You can meet some atheists with higher moral character and charity than many pastors in nigeria. I can trust an atheist.
We may defer in ideas and opinions but i would never view atheists as inherently immoral or untrustworthy because they dont want to accept that a creator exists.
Parisbookaddict? So you have changed your anti-atheist ways?
