He doesnt Know a lot has happened to Gates between 2006 and Today.
I pity him Yes, Bill Gates was filled with the holy ghost and converted in 2006 and has become an evangelist for christ till 2016. I'm sure you attend one of those mumu churches. |

its now obvious that comprehension seems to be your struggle since grammer and expression even when explained eludes you.
I leave you to your ignorance. Thanks for confirming that you were talking trash. Bill Gates the church worker that believes that going to church on a sunday morning is not an effective use of time! clown |

naijadeyhia: This is why kingebukanaija keeps bashing your head in. Let me give you the word for word quote from Bill Nwa Gates alright? This time pick up a dictionary to assist you with assimilation.
In terms of Time Allocation Religion has not been so effective. ..There is a lot more I COULD be doing on a sunday morning...Bill Gates#
The use of the words I COULD shows he wishes the church would reduce the time spent in worship on sundays and he COULD do something extra with that day.
That statement shows a man who PARTICIPATES and not just talks.
You really need to understand basic english bro. Nairaland isnt merciful.. Interesting. Since you want to be silly, I will take my time showing how silly you are. So, according to you, this is a man that likes being active in church; https://statusmind.com/images/2014/06/God-Bible-and-Religious-Quotes-43161-statusmind.com.jpgYet, you have the nerve to lecture me about English? naijadeyhia: sigh! felixomor already posted that quote word for word and nowhere did it say it was a waste of time. He talked about effective allocation of time.
English is meant to be simple bro..dont make it complex. Bill Gates said that going to church on a Sunday is not effective use of time. Guy. Stop trying to remix. |

naijadeyhia: I guess you took yours around 2am this morning. When someone says he PARTICIPATES it means he praises God via his actions...This is why Gates is a philanthropist and is willing to give and give and give some more under the principla of religion.
He does not praise God in words but in deed. Get it?
Stop taking Oshogbo weed its liable to cause retardation. Oshogbo weed gives clarity. By the way, Bill Gates has previously said that going to church is a waste of time- that it is not effective. Sooo.... |

Christianity Etc › Re: UNBELIEVABLE! DISGRACEFUL! Nairaland Atheists see nothing wrong with Bestiality by JackBizzle: 8:55am On Nov 08, 2016 |
naijadeyhia: You are the ignorant one here. One who goes and one who participates have one thing in common...THEY BOTH GO but one had an edge in that HE does not just go HE ALSO PARTICIPATES. Bill Gates is an active member..which was why he was able to talk about time allocation and why he feels religion can make it more productive.
You claim he is an atheist yet his is married to a devout catholic, has his kids attend a catholic school and he boldly declared that he PARTICIPATES.
Bill Nwa Gates is no Atheist...You can try something else. Bill Gates only goes to church to support his wife. Have you ever seen him praising God? |

You are a heartless person who would walk over a person's body to worship God. Look at Nigeria- with all our "God's generals" why are we still corrupt? It is because people like you and the RCCG have become pharisees and hypocrites- claiming to be worshipping God but yet, do not care about your fellow man. |

BossLadyF: Its a vigil. Even if they say its a Saturday morning meeting, the road will still be blocked on Friday cos of travelers that will want to be in camp on Friday against the Saturday meeting and even that Saturday will also be blocked.
For me, it shows how people long for God. Because God lives in redemption camp. Bunch of fools. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Redemption Camp; A Great Example Of Nigerian Hypocrisy In Religion by JackBizzle(op): 10:41am On Nov 05, 2016 |
BossLadyF: Truth is you can't stop people from worshipping God. Every Holy Ghost conference, people come in from other states and even politicians go for it. They know what they want.
I think the govt should create alternative routes or is there any? RCCG has populations and you can't stop people from trooping in and considering the location, it won't be easy. Really? If the Govt throws a 2 billion naira fine at RCCG, what then? Jokes aside, the church has to show compassion. They should do some logistics. -they could move it to saturday mornings so that people get there without causing that much traffic. The government should also look into it |

The worst a school or market will do is block one street. Please, have some empathy. People are suffering. A lot of cars broke down yesterday- finished fuel or overheating. |
Christianity Etc › Redemption Camp; A Great Example Of Nigerian Hypocrisy In Religion by JackBizzle(op): 8:36am On Nov 05, 2016 |
It is always paradoxical how Nigeria is so religious and yet so corrupt. We as Nigerians always wonder if God has forsaken us. Fortunately, it is not a question of God forgetting Nigerians but a reality of Nigerians forgetting how to love thy neighbour and treating themselves with respect.
The Redemption Camp event is a scourge to any driver in Lagos on every first Friday of the month. Many routes are blocked with traffic, which is caused by thousands of people going from Lagos to the Redeemed Camp in Ogun state. Furthermore, the event also creates a problem for those coming or going into Lagos through the particular route.
One has to truly wonder if The Redeemed Church that runs the Redemption Camp cares that it causes a lot of problems for people on the first Fridays of every month? What truly stops the church from deciding to tell its members to arrive on Saturday mornings so as to reduce the traffic? Why was the Redemption camp event set on a weekday and not on a weekend?
I truly want to ask Redeemed church members if they like to be a nuisance to people driving on Friday afternoons. Why must your church inconvenience others who are not your church members?
Honestly, if Nigeria was a better country, the government should continuously fine the redeemed church until it finds a way to stop causing traffic and inconveniencing innocent Lagosians. What many people don't realise is that there are a lot of accidents during such traffic. But then, the church does not care.
The summary of all this is that the typical Nigerian is a religiously intolerant person that will walk over people's bodies to go and worship God. I wonder what then is the person worshiping if he or she cannot empathize with his or her fellow human being. |

PastorAIO: Please my friend, I am about to unfollow this thread. I would kindly appreciate it if you ceased to mention me on this thread especially when discussing with deepsight.
I'm not prepared to read through what this thread is about to become which is pages upon pages of nonsensically long posts full of flowery sounding phrases that are in fact rubbish.
I don't appreciate people telling me what I actually meant to say rather than listening to what I said. I said God is a person, which was wrong. I later corrected myself to say that God is 3 persons. The OP is xtian so we are talking about a christian God here. Only someone who was not raised a christian, or a complete idiot, would misunderstand what I mean by Person. No need for further explanations.
Thank you for your attention. and thanks in advance for not mentioning me on this thread again.
Thank you. What? Why are you running away from the salad? The salad is the word! |
