adanduka:Trust me. It is. You'll be amazed at what people go through in life. Even some of us reading other's comments and advise right on here may still allow this same scenario happen to us. Instead of learning and being on the look out for molesters. |
dayleke:It's the sad truth but some men are that way when it comes to their brothers or sisters. I just can't explain it. |
You better send that young man out before he decides to do worse. Your MIL had noticed this in her grand child before you did and still kept mute? But she started running her mouth when you eventually discovered. Abi? She's a witch. Send her out of your house asap. Just a 2 bedroom apartment and you're already permitting the whole clan to move in? Wrong move. And why is your husband silent on this matter? Smh |
A true life tale. Her story : Please I need help. My mother-in-law came to live with us claiming she was coming for medical check up and has since refused to go. I do leave my baby with my MIL to look after as I had resumed work after my maternity leave. My husband has a junior brother whom he told me would be staying with us after his NYSC. Which I accepted. To cut d story short, i discovered dat my brother in law who is 35 years old molested my one year, five months old baby girl with his finger. Whenever i want to wash her private part she would always cry. so i decided to check her V area and discoverd dat d area had been tempered with. i quickly drew my husband's attention to it n he summoned his mother, who agreed she had noticed same whenever she wanted to bathe my baby. when we queried my brotherinlaw he became very sad n sober. Only then did we know he was the culprit. His mom confirmed that he's the culprit. And stated how she does not receive visitors in our absence. my brotherinlaw is always indoors no friend has ever visited him( both male and female) , a graduate dat has no job and he is not ready to go out and search for a job. we live in a two bedroom flat and my baby is always indoors. I never knew that my mother inlaw always left my baby alone with her son to molest . Now my problem is this : none of them is ready to leave my house. Pls mothers, will my baby be tight again? What do I do? Me : I decided to bring this here so others can learn from the advice and experiences ya'all have to share. |

Caseless:It's not that I don't like what they're doing for GMB, my concern is : are these men truly doing this in honour of GMB? Or they just want to be noticed. ![]() |
I won't be surprised if someone decides to drive a car from America to Nigeria to congratulate Buhari. You pipu shu kontinu. ![]() |
A 35-year-old Kaduna-born cyclist and supporter of the president-elect Gen Buhari and Professor Osinbajo, Mohammed Kabiru Jafaru, has embarked on a bicycle ride from Kaduna to Lagos to meet with the vice president-elect, Professor Yemi Osinbajo in Lagos State as a way to show his appreciation to the Yorubas for voting en-mass for the Buhari-Osinbajo ticket during last election. Mohammed started his journey to Lagos at exactly 6: 35am at the palace of Sarkin Hayin Malam Bello, Alhaji Kabiru Isa Gangarida yesterday April 27th. “I have decided to embark on this journey to Lagos because I want to go and thank Yoruba people for their immense support and contributions that led to the victory of General Muhammadu Buhari during the March 28 presidential election. The decision to undertake the journey came to my mind after analysing the votes cast for Buhari by the Yoruba people and after I discussed my intention with my immediate family and friends, they encouraged me to go on the journey.”he told journalist |

Just for fun. Don't take it too seriously. ![]() 1. Their Personalities Don't Seem Genuine. Nice guys are too nice.No one can always be that nice unless they're a saint. They are busy being nice instead of being real and women instinctually don't trust that. Bad boys "keep it real." Nice guys don't want to upset the apple cart. 2. They Don't Have Self-Respect! No one respects a doormat. Nice guys don't set boundaries or make any real demands. A bad boy doesn't let a woman walk all over him or control him. Women can't respect a man they can control. No respect equals no attraction. 3. They're SO Predictable—Which Is Just Boring! Most people lead boring, predictable lives, so they're attracted to people who are exciting and a bit unpredictable. Bad boys are always a challenge. Nice guys are never a challenge. Predictable plus no excitement plus no challenge = they prefer a bad boy. 4. Loving A Bad Boy Is In ladies Genes. Women are designed to nurture. However, instead of doing this with children, they often end up doing it with bad boys. They think their love will save them. Nice guys rarely need to be saved. 5. Women Like To Feel Needed. Nice guys don't usually need "to be fixed". Bad boys usually do, so they become a project. Some women think if they can "create" the perfect man, he will never leave them. Also, if they're busy fixing someone else, they don't have to look at what needs to be fixed in their own lives. 6. Weak sperms lol. Women are designed to procreate with the strongest possible genes. Bad boys are sending an unconscious message that they have great genes, so they're not afraid of losing the woman by misbehaving. Nice guys are sending a message that they don't think their genes are good enough, so they won't misbehave. 7. They Have A Fear Of intimacy. If a woman is afraid of intimacy, she subconsciously knows she can avoid it with a bad boy, since she can never get close enough to him to have to go there. A nice guy will eventually want a commitment, and that's scary. 8. They Sometimes Have Low Self-Esteem. Women don't feel comfortable with people who treat them better than they treat themselves. If you don't think much of yourself, the bad boy is simply reinforcing your negative belief. A nice guy is treating you in a way you're not familiar with. 9. The Sex Isn't As Mind-Blowing. Women feel a nice guy won't be good in bed. They sometimes like to be manhandled and think a nice guy won't be able to take control and get the job done. A bad boy comes across as being able to deliver, even though that may not always be the case. 10. Bad Boys Are Totally Sexy. Have you ever seen a bad boy who wasn't hot? I'm sure there are a few, but they wouldn't be able to get away with half the stuff they did if they didn't look so good. Meanwhile, when a woman describes someone as a nice guy, she means, "He's not hot." 11. They Aren't As Charming. Nice guys don't always know what to say and are sometimes at a loss for words. Bad boys can be very charming and know exactly what women want to hear. However, they eventually switch over to being selfish. By the time they reveal their true colors, the woman has fallen for them and has a hard time letting go. 12. They're Not As Strong Physically. Historically, men have protected women — physically and otherwise. Bad boys give the illusion of being able to protect women, while with nice guys, women aren't so sure. Life is all about balance. Until men learn how to do that, more often than not, women will choose the bad boy, until they realize that his bad qualities outweigh his good ones. |
Fufu and melon soup 4 times daily for one month. Thank me later. |
BOWOTO:It should be by selection of those who merit it. Not politically via an election. That's my point. |
nairalife2013:I get you. As a parent, I'm obligated to teach my kids sex education. Am I also to encourage them to be sexually active from such tender age? Heck no. I teach them from birth and when they come of age, they can put to practice what they learned from me. Same logic applies to nursery politics. |
Pebcak:It's wrong because he's not 18 yet. This should begin in secondary institutions. |
I beg to differ. I support the inculcating of politics into the pupil's curriculum. I believe it's called social studies. But I disagree to an active participation until they've come of age. Whether we choose to acknowledge it or not, politics, elections, campaign etc stirs up animosity, disagreements, and the likes. Even as adults, most times its difficult to accept your opponent won. Should we expose our kids to such unhealthy rivalry at their age? Can they deal with it? My opinion though. Yours might be better. |
