Seun:
Atheists do advocate for this, but not as atheists. Atheists in labour unions advocate for unions. Atheists in politics advocate for freedoms. The fact that some atheists have chosen to speak out against religion and superstition doesn't mean others have stopped fighting for other things. The Young Turks for example are atheists, but they don't talk about atheism much. They fight for the rights of blacks, LGBTs, women, etc.
Ironically, Atheism is also a religion... because once you stop conforming to their perception of religion or the evolution of the world, you stop becoming an atheist.........

lastly, what pains me most is Nigerian atheist vaunting to be scientist....
They have not invented anything yet, they come to nairaland and brag about their modernity ....

Education › Re: How Do I Help My Pupils To Be Good In Mathematics? by Jackossky(m): 12:34pm On Sep 30, 2016
The problem is you are not that good in mathematics...
so before teaching them any mathematics topic,
first of all revise at home, borrow some of those kids test book and solve all the mathematical problem in there....then call someone from your surrounding that you know that he is a dunce....teach him,and if that kid can be able to get what you are teaching him,be rest assured that you will deliver wonderfully in the class.......

or if that is not the problem, work on your personality.... its either you are too harsh on them or you are autocratic...Make sure that they like you....pupils find it difficult to know the subject of a class teacher they hate.....
Be like a model to them and teach them as a friend
My head master always tell me that 'No child is dull, every child has his or her own learning style'

Am saying all this because I was once a teacher.......
Thank me later....

That's a flawed but common argument. I thought putting the word "real" in quotes would spare me from having to debunk it again:
Okay, the lurgy about Superman is...there are beings with supernatural powers...........
Someone can't just come to you and tell you that
Hey man! I can fly....
I believe you will abstain from that person, and having different thought about him.....
So therefore,it is hard to see the real thing and make him or her a cast in a TV series.....it is next to impossible

me having seen a ghost, can decide to write about ghosts, and say it is fictional because people won't believe me if I say it is real....

,..
What they are just trying to explain in those comical TV shows were, there are beings with supernatural powers
Some are good while some are bad..........
Hope you are flowing in the same current with me?

Pls describe what you saw precisely. How do you know that what you saw was a *'real'* mermaid and not someone pretending to be a mermaid?

Indeed! We are proudly and unapologetically superstitious, irrational, and under-educated.

Please describe exactly what you saw, when, and where. How did you know that the entity you saw was a 'real' witch and not a hallucination?
I accede with you on that

candidly speaking,you asked
if he was sure if it is a real mermaid or not,but the question is that, how do we get the idea of it being *real* or * fake*
so how do you get the perception of it as fake? You got the idea because there is definitely a real one ,that was why fake exist.....
Hope you are getting what am insinuating?
