As long as a karyotype doesn't belong to XX or XY, the person is not a true male or female.
In fact, the very definition of intersex is possession of variations in X and Y sex chromosomes. So XXY ( Klinefelter )and XO are variations, and thus intersex as explained in these screenshots.
