The matter/question surrounding life and death is a topic that’ll remain forever unsolved since people approach and absorb it differently.

On a personal scale, I’ve tried to not think too much into it because it’ll bring no solution. I mean, worrying too much about it will not solve world hunger or provide a cure for cancer.

Just like Christopher Hitchens said about the party going on without him after he dies; that’s about the main thing that stings me, being forgotten! If the world exploded and everyone died, I’ll give a salute on my way out and I know this sounds selfish but it’s just me.

Lastly, the momento mori concept? Well, all good (and bad) things must come to an end and it is what it is… worrying about moments in time is simply kicking a dead horse; nothing will change!

Death is really what is promised it is; rest… and rest is what it truly is because you no longer occupy that (dead) body and your body cares little of what it experienced when it had life in it!

Life is very hard, and I mean that literally. It is also harder when the tools a person have to make it easy is ego, delusion, living on past glory, entitlement, especially when they are just one calamity away from being downgraded to nothingness.

Just one car accident, a loss of job, a victim of others aggression (stray bullet), or being cut off from their host (for girls who depends on mens money to feel fly) etc. Life is hard, but the wrong mindset makes it harder.

I do not know if this is a good thing, but compared to other species, humans are cuddled from birth to at least two decades. Many of us went all through our formative years being reliant on others (eg parents) and thinking the world owe us.

For men, its also worse. Many of the looser male are those whom are tall and attractive, and went through life getting girls easily. And many girls are victims of those boys, since the girls aint carrying any load themselves, and think being instagram worthy couples is what life is all about.

The need to pepper others, or be in the spotlight is more important than the need to make sure you move along with time, and not stuck on the past.

I have said it before that ''delusion is what makes many people sane. If people can see the harsh realities of their life, they will be depressive''. So you can say that delusion is a good thing somehow. Its an anesthesia to the mind.

Regardless of the gender, its a very dangerous thing for adult to start life on easy mode for up to two decades. It will just make them lazy and feel like they are better than others.

Even I, as male has enjoyed attention from both sexes and is now experiencing the true reality of life leaving me behind.

From not being able to attract the kind of “girls” that used to discreetly collect my number from people who knew me and into not-desiring to go to certain places anymore for the sheer fear of not fitting-in.

I mean, I’ll probably look out of place in a school campus and might be mistaken for a young lecturer or a masters student at best all while I’m not 40 yet, even though I’m ultra fit and healthy, is indeed baffling.

But I’ve come to terms with it… the same type of people who used to call me “my cute baby” now call me “fine man”. I know I’m not who I used to be and sadly, it’ll only get worse when I finally lose all my hair haha . These are even the silver days still! The bronze and even coppers are not far behind!

While I have accepted this reality, there’s a lot of people who will carry this grandiose personality to the grave and would still be questioning why their coffin is not positioned in the right way as they’re being lowered down! Well, nobody would give a shit at that point, that’s for damn sure!
