These loan apps are not new; everyone knows their modulus operandi; you know the interest rates, payment cycle and what they would do if you don't pay.

You claim they are not saints, yet go ahead download their app, give them approval to contact your contacts if you don't pay, collect the loan, refuse to pay back and cry wolf when they decide to act in their usual manner.

All my relatives who own homes in the west were able to achieve this through mortgaging, which is a form of loaning. If they'd missed a payment schedule, they'll be reducing their credit and what's more? They could have their houses repo'ed.

Now imagine living in a house and having it taken from you, isn't it worse than what happens here? And these are banks and big financial companies and not even these small timers in Nigeria.

It's in plain sight that big investors like Dangote take loan grants, if he'd not paid back, there be little or no funds to give other investors.

A lot of people here are eternally foolish, no compromise.
