Oh my! You didn't give a cogent reason on why you wanna transfer to the other campus in the US. Is St Lucia an English speaking country? You could have told the VO that you don't really understand their profs whenever they speak and more so, the country is not an English speaking country and he'll approve your visa.

I'm really sad for you. Even the VO after the denial had to say "kindly reapply when you have enough info for him." that is to say he wasn't convinced yet.

Sorry man but you still can make it. Next time, you're filling the form online, reach to why you were denied, just write you didn't give enough reason on why you want to transfer. BAM YOU'RE IN.

When you are explaining or giving an indepth anaylsis, dont end your sentence with a ''tail'' answer. I think its cuz you mentioned online that just got things twisted. And you prolly should be more broad and note all courses you will be taking even the ones you took in ur first semester just incase cuz he has your transcript!. Me:i am going to complete my Barchelors degree in information Technology.

Me:Yes i have it with me,would you like to see it?

Me:i passed it,he started looking at it
Vo:so what courses have you been takingg,
Me:i mentioned about 5courses have taken since i started my program.
Vo:No,i meant the courses you took last semester.
Me;ohhh okay,so i mentioned 3 courses,but then it was taking me long to remember the courses so I mentioned 3courses out of 5 fpurses that i did that i can remember while he kept on looking at my transcript nd typing.
Vo:so what semester are you now?
Me:4th and my January semester would make it my 5th semester

Me: we have about 4 different campuses,3 if them are located in newyork and the 4th is in st Lucia which am currently enrolled and i am transfering because of my gPA last semester which i was on the presidential list and the school gave an option to every students on both the presidential and Deans List if they would like to transfer and i choose the option to transfer so i can take my major courses on site for better. Understanding and this would also give me the opportunity to meet up with my collegues who we have been working on a project online.
Vo:so why cant you take this courses online? Why do you want to transfer?
Me:this courses are major courses that requires alot of Physical Practicals whereby if i take it on site i will have a better understanding of this course.

Me and i just de pray to God but i don de confused,and i didnt stopped looking at him.

Have had this type of interview before,iTs going to be a skype Video call,They will definitely see your face,ask you few questions about your educational background and some few things,Its not a big deal tho.

Hello gurunss in the House.....Just a quick question.....The Program Start Date on my I-20 is January 19 2016 and on my DS-160 the intended arrival date in the U.S i put it JAN 08 2016 i hope that is not a problem, is it?

I don't know y everyone keep saying there is no December date for interview. I still booked an appointment for tomorrow 21 December for my friend and last time I checked the next available appointment is 29 December. so pls check well. the embassy wouldn't issue ur visa if ure not resuming on the date on ur i-20 and schools won't give more than 5 or;7 days for extension. And I will also like everyone to know I got my f1 visa at the fourth attempt plus all my interviews were this year so pls don't let anyone discourage you. I hope this helps

Good Note...What if program start date is Jan 19 2016 and the arrival date i put on my ds-160 form is jan 08...That shouldnt be a problem...is it?

No you don't have to pay another SEVIS fee. You will be able to transfer your records to the new school. Just send a mail to them

Hello, I think You have to pay for another SEVISFEE because the new school you applied for if you are have been issued an I-20 a new sevis number would be generated for you which would be different from the previous one you have...I only know it is valid for a year.

Yeah sure jah101, you're right its by the grace of God but one's appearance gives one confidence. Like when you pass and everyone looks at you, this gives you kind of assurance that the visa interviewer would want to hear you out and even guide you through your mistakes. That's what I think sha. Because confidence is very essential in getting that visa

Hello bro,Been denied a UK visa does not stop u from getting UR US VISA, I have been to the UK several times and still got denied a US Visa before, so its not a problem atall, Moreover since you are getting a new passport You are good to go bro,Even when you filling your DS-160 form it wouldn't ask you if you have been denied a UK visa,its only gonna ask if you have been refused a US VISA before.Just read from people transcript here to help you understand much better on how to go about your US Visa,And if i may ask,are you applying for an F1-Student Visa ??

No problem at all, what is written in your I-20 means you met english requirement. No need to write english test but it would be useful for u more than u thought. And pertaining to the second question, VO is only particular about how u can defend yourself during the interview, nothing concern them if u are handsome or not.

Hello Guruss in the house, Just a simple question please...On My I-20 it says PROGRAM English Proficiency= REQUIRED and beside it also it says ENGLISH PROFICIENCY NOTE: STUDENT IS PROFICIENT.....Thou i am currently studying in monroe college in st lucia now and am transferring to the main campus in Newyork..Same school.....I hope this is not a problem? Do i need any English Test or not? Since i am transferring and its written on my I-20 Student is Proficient? Please Advise .Thank you.......Also this question might be funny but i better ask....My hair is very plenty and High,But it is very neat,Do you think i should cut it Low for the interview or it doesn't matter to the VOs? cos i de fear my hair,if i cut am and dem no give me nah anoda pain lol.

Sometimes I always find it so funny on NL, no matter what you post on here about visa deny, people go still dey pick up flops. Do you even know dat sometimes it also depends on d VO's mood?. I don see person wey dey stammer infront of a VO and still got d visa... US Embassy no be shere shere o. I don see person with palm sander and he got his visa while some with suits were denied. I believe it's all about the grace of God. If u like mak u don travel all over the world, e no concern US Embassy o. Tho some people dey fuckup in der interview o but dos white wizard sabi read person mind. Lolz! Getting a US visa na biggest achievement because e hard pass Job interview

Since you don't know the person and you claimed to have account with them before and it's not the email you used with them, I guess you are once attached for a group visa appointment at the US embassy either by family or company and a UID number was generated for your passport number and that was why the system was able to detect it..

Just follow slimmy05 advice because that is the way it can be resolved.. Contact them and state your email or the UID number if you still remember it so that they can use it to help you solve this..

Hello bro,I dont think i have ever been attached for any group visa before atall either family or company....So i am not sure where that problem is coming from,But i will contact them as you have said to find out what going on,also if you have the embassy number pls kindly give it to me but i will be calling from outside nigeria as i am currently still in Saint lucia.

you cannot open two account. Get the embassy number and call them or get their email address and send them a message with your issue

Brief one guys, As far as am concerned i know i have an account to book appointment but i havent used that account again since 2013 and now i tried to login its not working,i tried to reset password several times it just says they have sent me a link with a temporary password which never arrive....if that link will arrive maybe it will arrive tomorrow lol so for this not to delay my appointment i created a new account with them and fill all the steps,but upon getting to step 5 where it asking for my passport details i also put in all my passport details and i click on continue it showing me someone have an account with the same information i provide with an email address display below...that email i am not familiar with it atall which i know i never had an email like that before it is not even the email i use to create a previous account with them,so now am stucked and cant book my appointment again,what should i do please?

It is better to correct it by filling a new ds160 and update the code on your appointment page and print out a new appointment confirmation instead of assuming they VO will understand, what of if the VO did not understand

Thats True broo...I will fill another one right away now,I also thought as much too,sometimes assuming things can be a big implication....And Fortunately for me i havent booked my appointment yet so i will put the new form code in the appointment page.

Hello guys, I just finished filling my DS-160 form now and i have submitted it and cant edit it again but after submitting it i realize that i made a mistake on the Issuance date of my passport it suppose to be 16 Nov 2012,but i mistakenly put 16 Nov 2013 do you think that can cause any problem or the VO would know that is just an error or better still should i just fill a new DS-160 form? Your response would be highly appreciated. Between i dont think that really matters because my passport number is correct and they can always confirm that on my passport datapage i guess....But all the same u all opinions really matters.
