stupid jareer...condense your thoughts into short sentences.
Let me:

1: You are a damn racist fool.
2: you believe you are superious, coming to a NAIJA-forum to talk bull about Naija-people.
3: Go to a somali-forum.

Yeah, that pretty much covers it.

I love this thread!
Even though many women consider this exploiting the females, showing them in the wrong way, I kinda..well, like I said, it fascinates. The woman body is beautiful, wether fat, chicken, curvy or tiny. I love the moooovee!

movmentish: Flirting is not cheating, infact me don't even know what cheating means anymore.
If my girlfriend let's say, travels for a month and I have sex with a random girl((I still love my girlfriend,I'm just tryna survive as per konji na bastard)).does that qualify as cheatinghuh? Even if I really do love my girlfriendhuh?
....seriously?

Ah, hell no. If your girl had random s-x with some dude she met in that month, would you call it cheating?
RomanceRe: Can Flirting Be Considered As Cheating? by JallowBah(f): 10:25pm On Oct 07, 2012
candygosh: Flirting in a relationship may not necessarily mean cheating. But in marriage, I see it as cheating. Why should a married man or woman flirt with his secetary or her boss? Vice versa in any case
And why is it ok in a relationship, but not in a marriage? The paper makes a different between respecting your spouse or not..?

Dont do anything behind your partners back that you would not do in front of your partner.

Easy as that.

nic2012: Thanks, you give me the most hope that things can work out. I am not saying that I am never willing to go to Africa it's just not possible for the meantime while I am retraining to get a better job.
First of all I know that for starters he will only initially get a visa for six months max. I'll take that six months and then see where we go from there. If things are meant to be then we will surely know and can then plan a real future together, wherever it may be.
Then do that. Now. Dont wait.

nic2012: I am grateful for all the advice. Don't take it that I am not. I truly believe in this. If he was after residency here then surely he would have gone to someone who had the money there and then to make things happen. He knows all I have to offer is love and yet he still comes to me.
I will be coming back here to tell you how Africans are the greatest beings on the planet. Mark my words lol.
I am guessing you have told him you dont make enough to bring him over?
In that case, he knows the deal.

^^^^spot on!!! cool cool sounds like someone who knows what she is talking about.

OP don't be offended. They are just telling you the truth and advising you to look out for snakes in the grass. The last thing we need is for you to ignore it and then come on here months later about why African men are the worst beings on the planet! grin
Yes, I do know what I am taking about. My husband has thrown out more than ONE so-called friend who was f`ing behind his wifes back, while wanting us to be friends with the wife..ain`t gonna happen.

There are many, many decent men out there, but sadly; many a-holes as well, who dont mind f`ing someone over just to get a passport to EU.

hakuna matata: may i ask 'what does the dread & tatts add to your appearance?' does it make u cute or ruff,? cos u shld give a f/uck if u seek a job & i'm an employer.... cool
That depends where you wish to workwink
And trust me; if an employer dont wish to hire me because of my tattoos, I highly doubt I want to work there in the first place.

I have ALWAYS gotten the jobs I apply to after an interview, where they see my tats.

And just because of people like you, I choose do dress more decent to interviews than I do in the normal days, but I still dont cover all..smiley

nic2012: Firstly, the reason I came to nairaland was simply for advice- on the off chance that someone would see this who has been in a similar situation and would be able to offer me some realistic advice.

Secondly, to all the people who are doubting this- I know what you are saying but am willing to take the risk. I don't want to be that old lady thinking "what if". I know that this could be too good to be true but it could also be the real thing. Do you deny me the right to asatain this for myself.

The reason I cannot spend long in Nigeria is a private matter. I have commitments over here.
I am just telling you how some men do, just keep your eyes open. Not all are the same, if they were, I would not be married to an african myself.

And we all have commitments. The truth is that if you dont make enough money, you cant bring him to UK to stay..

jhydebaba: You're waiting on a long thing.

@topic: If you dress indecent (half na.ked), displays all your nature endowed gift and flaunt what u've got hoping that our joysticks are dead, I'm so sorry.
You dress to kill meaning you wanted to wake up the manliness in the guy's system and when they come for ur womanliness, you cry foul calling them "molesters"
Oh, BULL!

A man tried to rape me in Norway. I was walking around with a normal jacket, half-baggy pant, and had a damn mohawk, piercings on my face, and sneakers. No way close to sexiness in dressing, still he tried.
Its NOT about what you wear, its about how f`ed up the rapist is.

There is NO, NO, NO blaming the victim.

lalaboi: the bruk it down is quite popular around here. . . . i'm sure most ladies will try bruk it down when they alone, "In front of the mirror" lol
Lol, I know I do! I even do it at the clubs, but I dont walk around in booty-shorts and short-short dresses either, so it dont look as naked as some of these women doeswink But still, I have a fascination on the movement some of these women do with their bottoms:

I dont know about UK, but for Scandinavia, he can appy for a visitors-visa.
But, the best thing would be for you to go there and visit him and his house and see what he is all about.

Its sad, but the truth is there are men who pretend to be in love online for years to get a visa. People even get married and continue to pretend until the day they have their final-papers, and divorce the net day. Sad, but true. Just keep in mind that there are many out there like that.
Ask him what he thinks about you not making enough money to get him to UK.
Or what if you moved to live with him there?

And, why can you not go there for a long period of time, what is holding you back??

Mrs..Chima:
Soulmate in my opinion is someone that is compatible and complements you. I believe that people miss their soul mates because they are not focusing on the bigger picture hence marrying or dating their stalemate.

A soul mate can come in different shapes, sizes, nationalities, religions, regions, and cultures. It is about two souls combining as one and thriving together as a team with different strengths and weaknesses. Soul mate is someone that supports your weaknesses as you support their weaknesses.

It is possible that we will never meet our soul mate but they are out there.
What she said.

I do believe everything in life leads up to other events. If I did not met my first boyfriend, and his brother didnt go in the army, and he didnt invited us to move to the capital, and we ddnt break up, and I didnt decide to stay, I would never met my husband.

All the choice up to now has been leading up to other things. If I had made other choices, I would not be sitting here.

Ivynwa: grin grin

More Serious?
I am of the opinion that kids reared by "hippie-having-fun-and-not-taking-the-world-too-seriously" parents will have a cooler outlook to life.
I do believe the same. Kids growing up with open parents wont be too judgemental, and I also believe they will have the quality to really follow their wishes, instead of doing what society expect them to do.
My husband, the natty-dread who sags, hopes his kids will go to be of importance in life, to make changes for others in a big or a small way. I just hope they end up happy with themself, and life.

Hurry up and go get your man.grin

I hadn't the time to read this your thread when you had it and reading it now and hearing your reasons for the separation had me thinking "there sure should be other alternatives around it that can keep you guys together while studying and preparing for the dreams you have for the future". Think harder and see whether there are alternatives-----
No, that was our alternative at that time, to get the future started. And though its hard, it has been good for us as well.
We will discuss when I go down how we will do, his return-ticket is in March, so we will seesmiley
