iresearcher:This is very funny... PDP has fallen, if the CHIBOK girls issue were taken so serious just like the way the PDP are serious about seeing a CERTIFICATE conducting series of meetings over CERTIFICATE ISSUE. those helpless girls would have been rescued. They have created a scene of shame to themselves thinking they are making mockery of Gen. Buhari. Very disappointing, they put aside relevant issues that need to be address and focus on CERTIFICATE. What a shame. |
sleekp1:Have you seen the recommendation letter wrote by the school principal? Below it is the principal signature. The Principal, Provincial Secondary school, Katsina. What is your argument? May be you should get a glasses. |
If GEJ is so efficient at exposing fraudulent patterns, then why is no one behind bars for the subsidy scam up till now? Won't his competence be of greater value to you and I if he does that than chasing another man's WAEC certificate? Under the regime of GEJ corruption has been the order of the day mismanaging the wealth and resources of this nation that belong to ALL NIGERIANS. No truthful prosecution was given to these people who committed these crime. Over N5tn(trillion) in government funds have been stolen through fraud, embezzlement and theft since President Goodluck Jonathan assumed office on May 6, 2010. WHY CAN'T HE(GEJ) FIGHT CORRUPTION. I'm tired of NIGERIAN POLITICS. Nigeria is now a laughing stock in committee of all nations and it makes me wonder why such a man who knows nothing about office of presidency and has been there for almost six(6) years without any conspicuous achievement would want to continue if he does i also wonder what he will achieve in 4 years if he hasn't achieve it in 6years. |
temitemi1:when you have suffered enough no one will tell you who to vote.. you are still making mouth here. |
majekdom2:Even the so call western countries have their youths committing one crime or the other different from the crime committed in this part of the world... Some crime are peculiar to some group as a result of ENVIRONMENT. Condemning evil won't just stop this act, it is being preached about on TV, churches and mosques , it's a social phenomena and there is need to study the causes of this act and make effort to limit it. All aspects of human behavior are affected by both nature and nurture, nature determines the range of our human potential. Nurture affects the ways that our human potential is actualized, being helped or hindered by good or bad environmental inputs. I will keep saying this...BAD human behavior is the product of the environment and not because we are evil. I still stand as a team who will say no to criminal act.. |
majekdom2:So are you telling it's only NIGERIANS committing crimes all over the places? We are debating over this issue because its a crime committed by Nigerian ...What will you say about terrorist act? Which is even more deadly and cruel? Who are you going to blame ?? I have said it over and over i'm not the type who support criminal act, but no matter how criminals are being caught, it won't stop this act... We need a reform in NIGERIA as a nation. A good government who have the love of masses in their heart with transparency and corruption free, more programs to empower youth. When the land is not fertile you can't expect a good harvest.. |
Amya:You aren't getting my POINT... What i'm still saying is that BAD human behavior is the product of the environment and not because we are evil... I guess you're not a NIGERIAN, you talked about the SEAT just like it's a HERITAGE passed from one family to another, or just a mere SEAT in the sitting room.. Forgetting that NIGERIA politics is even corrupt, who has ever gotten to that SEAT without any form of fraud? whether bribery or whatsoever. The practice of godfatherism has become one of the greatest problems facing the Nigerian political system, i guess you aren't seeing it from that angle. 2015 election is around the corner so many negative stories is springing up already. All these things are factors. The past 15yrs years has been a record of corruption of highest order from one government administration to another. Millions of youth corp can't secure a job after year of service due to high rate of unemployment. So much to talk about. Very acceptable, i still subscribe to your point about no justification for criminality and we should cultivate the habit of good work. But there is need to consider the CAUSE AND EFFECT factors, Until then we can provide solution to this problems and build a better nation. |
Amya:Truly, there is no justification for criminality...But there is no way we would talk about criminal act without blaming our corrupt leaders who embezzled money meant for the masses to have a good life. You'd be surprise when you hear what people you think are hard working get involve in at work. Corruption has find it way virtually to every government and private sectors, the corrupt system has shaped the behavior of people we thought are even hard working. It is until when things boomerang for people we thought are hard working, then we would know that no one is HOLY. The law has shifted more concentration on cybercrime because the world has become a computer age where virtually all monetary activities are being done. The truth is that most of Nigerian youths are exposed to different type of criminal activities, depend on which one they find more easy to execute. To some, kidnapping is better off for them. To some, cybercrime is easy. While some who are bold find drug more preferable, not letting out prostitution as an option for female. The trend is changing now and some ventured into church business and we have heard about different stories about criminal act in Nigeria. I stand to be corrected but i think BAD human behavior is the product of the environment and not because we are evil. There are more to stay about this, will just have to stop here... God heal our land. |
I was watching one of the local Nigeria TV station this evening when i saw a non-denominational intercessory prayer group called GOODLUCK NIGERIA PRAYER NETWORK. It is so obvious that they are all supporters of PDP. This prompt me to ask this question, why are Nigerians so religious but ungodly? I have thought about it recently why NIGERIAN are so religious but ungodly, from my point of view i think it has to do with our level of development as a nation and our bad leaders. Some of the things that have become realities in some developed countries, still seems to be a thing of spiritual in Nigeria hence it becomes something we need to prayer for. Using the power sector as a typical example, sometimes some of us unconsciously prayed that PHCN should switch on the power most especially when we want to make use of it. This can't be a prayer for a Ghanaian or Europeans citizen whether consciously or unconsciously. Another example is unemployment, as a result of corrupt leaders unemployment rate is increasing, hence this becomes a prayer point for graduate who can't secure a job in vigil. there are numerous examples. One of the pastors in the prayer group was interviewed about their objectives. To my surprise,he said it is a platform to intercede for the nation at it faces threat from Islamist group, Boko Haram and the upcoming 2015 election to go peacefully. He further said spiritual welfare is needed during the 2015 election because there are going to be spiritual attacks that may hinder a peaceful election. I can't recall if any developed nations such as AMERICA go on fasting and prayer to fight terrorist or to conducting a peacefully election. This part of the world where we are make us become so religious as result of bad leaders and level of development...People who have made it there to the developed country have different prayer point as a result of good life and opportunities and high development. One can come to conclusion why developed/western countries are not so religious but Godly. Nigeria is a highly spiritual country and its past and present leaders know this and have manipulated it to their benefit, even the present administration has taken it to a new height where God is expected to actually physically solve all the country's debilitating problems from terrorism to corruption to fixing dilapidated infrastructures... |
Virginity is not lack of opportunity but morality(Conduct accepted by culture or religion) Most youths of today lost morality/value and it didn't just cost them losing their virginity but also tarnishing their future, bringing reproach to their family... On social media you can find different kinds of nude pictures/ sex tapes of youths. Now will you consider that an OPPORTUNITY or LACK OF MORALITY? |
It is so obvious that this so called man of God and their churches now a days have made more enough wealth by misleading congregations to give their money all in the name of keeping food in the house of God(Tithe). The wealth they accumulate is more than enough to feed the congregations and spread the gospel. But instead they ventured into other businesses such as building university(using tithe money),private jet company(using tithe money) etc. All this business orientation is the aim and objectives of most comtemporary churches now. Isn't it so obvious that there is enough money on ground to spread the gospel by this new contemporary churches? But instead they keep asking for more, whenever they discovered congregations are being wise to stop paying tithe they always come with different tactics to keep exploiting the poor congregation so they can able to expand their business. I hope that one day christians will wake up from their divine slumber. jdilight:@ OP... There are so many ways you can make contributions to spread the gospel, getting a 10% (100 naira) from a congregations of 5,000 to 100,000 isn't a small money. You said the money is meant for keeping food in the house of God which only few of this congregation benefit from it when they encounter tribulations. Or are you saying this FOODS are meant for the pastors alone? Hence they can use the money to buy best luxury cars, purchase mansions in VGC and ventured into other businesses since the money is constantly coming... The truth about it is that this so called contemporary pastors aren't preaching the real Gospel of Salvation but laying more emphasis on TITHE, they are not bothered even if armed rubbers are bring the tithe or fraudsters all that matters is bring tithe so more money can be in the bank account of the church... Anyways let the MUGUS keep enriching their so call daddy G.O thinking that is an automatic ticket to HEAVEN. If you like give all your 100% to your daddy G.O as TITHE and your lifestyle isn't depicting the Christlike. Your ways isn't pure in the sight of God. Your TITHE is wasted. Not all services render to God is accepted. |

The truth is that...Majek’s problem is not drug, it is spiritual. Majek delved into spiritism. |
I hope someday Christians will wake up from their DIVINE slumber. Members in contemporary churches are being brainwashed with false doctrine, making them feel guilty whenever they don't pay tithe. Some of them even believe that God is a money doubler the more you pay tithe the more you become richer because of the riches stories attached to it by their pastor to brainwashed them. One of the common word used to brainwashed congregation is mostly supported by the common word "we are not to judge" even when it is clearly seen that their hard earn money is used for construction of Universities, purchase of luxuries. I have stopped paying tithe few years ago,and my life has been good. i'm even better than those who claim to pay tithe on a regular basis having the perception that God is a magician who will double the tithe money. I live by God's grace and his grace is sufficient for me, I love to give unconditionally to the needy. In fact i derived more joy, happiness and even feel fulfilled after given my money to the needy who actually needs it. Not an organization disguise to be a church, wolves in sheep's clothing and devil incarnates individuals pretending to be pastors or whatever titles they command who will use my money for Universities, owning more factors of productions, getting more powerful in the society. It is high time for Christians to think deeply, the theological stage where pastors are only accountable to God has lapse. |

It is very obvious nowadays that contemporary churches don't give attention to the poor members in their churches. Even when they are ready to help, the protocol and process is of greater height. Churches are now into competitions in the same trend ; Universities, private jet owner etc. Contemporary churches budget are toward all these things mentioned, so it is impossible for these churches to give attention to the poor and even if they do it is minimum. They have created gaps between the rich and the poor, this is even rampant within the church settings. There are reserve special seat available for rich members and even if the poor member happens to be the first person in the church he can't not sit on the reserve seat. I hope someday Christians will wake up from their DIVINE slumber. |
If people do not speak out, no resolutions can be attained. Just finished reading about the tactics used by some Nigeria pastors to exploit congregations. Nigerians are very devout, even the white who brought in religions to Nigeria are not as religious as Nigerians especially the Christians.religion blinds Christians from seeing the truth and by the fear to question certain actions and preachings.... it is mostly supported by the common word "we are not to judge" even when it is clearly seen. Anyone can get up any day, declare him/herself a pastor, rent a warehouse and begin any acts of exploitations, after luring congregations with their charismatic acts and sometimes very questionable signs and wonders. As in every section of society there are wolves in sheep's clothing and devil incarnates pretending to be pastors or whatever titles they command,as we know some pastors are 'self' rather than 'God' ordained as we recognize them by their fruits, the topic of anointing vs appointment is another issue. It is obvious that most of all these contemporary churches are only exploiting congregations to achieve their objectives because of the ongoing competition among denominations. which are, construction of universities and multimillion investments own by a single person( G.O). All in the name of God. Every Sunday, congregations give away their hard-earned money to the pastors’ coffers in the form of tithes, offerings and special gifts with the deluded hope of multiplied financial blessings in return.(God is not a magician neither a money doubler) Congregations are being deceived by sowing a seed and obligation of tithe without questioning what their tithe are being used for. I truly feel for innocent and God fearing pastors who not only take their oaths seriously, but have to take the extra work of delivering, healing, counseling and reintegrating those who have been scamed and victimized, into the church body and society as a whole, and can only commend their efforts and pray God continues to strengthen them. I hope someday Christians will wake up from their DIVINE slumber...Shalom |
With the way things are going, this is a pointer that religion conflicts will end this world. The Muslim terrorist are getting unbreakable everyday and the killing of Christians is becoming uncontrollably,it will get to a time when the radical Christians and Jewish will no longer accept this and i foresee that this could lead to a great WAR... Muslims heart are so strong like a rock they can do anything to achieve their aim,Muslims carry within their hearts a genocidal determination to destroy people who don't accept their religion. Once again, the call is out for so-called "moderate" Muslims to help us identify the Muslims we have to worry about, and teach us how to distinguish them from the ones we don't. Until that day comes, we must be cautious with MUSLIMS. |

@Quivah i like your responds to 2buff, infact that was exactly what my responds would have be. People have so much placed pastors and imam higher than God, this remind me of a friend who saved funds worth of 1million naira,he consulted his alfa regarding is desire business which is selling of used car tyres but the cleric told him not to venture into such business. As a friend we advice him to try it because life is about risk, all he need to do is to study the risk regarding the business. Just to cut the story short, right now he couldn't make an account of how he spent the 1 million naira. Moral: it is good to be independent this why some people are not independent because it is their pastors who dictate how they live their life. The whites who introduced religion to Africans are not as religious as Africans. God help us. |
ProfJosh: i dint evn c all is words as insults i rather saw them as the words of a frustrated and confused fellow who doesnt know where he realy belongs to....he claimd to b a studnt of uniben yet he was so bitter against evry1 who said d bitter truth about hnaub... I know he will surely come back, and if he doesnt den he is a coward. Prof Josh said so... I owe no one an apology!!! I'm used to insults anyway,so any1 who is fightin for d same cause as mr joshua (my namesake) can take it upon himself to insult me..... Chiamaka01: No, but i think i'm in a better position to ask you that seeing u r already in a university. BTW, did you pay @james, cos d link he posted doesn't even work.@Chiamaka...It is very obvious that you're the type who habitually finds fault in anything good and also you're against anything progressing. I don't understand why you should take this so personal if you aren't against a good work. Rome is not built in a day and mind you the school admin are not just folding their arms without doing necessary things to make the school an accredited institute. Instead of your trying to rubbed the multi-million institute into mud,why can't you just appreciate the good deeds of others. If you're a lady with great ambitions, one day you will have your own organization. I imagine how you would feel when people render your organization as worthless effort,PLEASE forgive me if i have said anything offensive i just want you to support good deeds instead of making them worthless... |
Some people has turn pastor to their demigod, any little thing pastor ooo my husband has started again oo, pastors ooo my wife is that... As for me i will go with my parents advice, pastor my foot. The moment you start referencing pastor(s) they see themselves as important. This is what is affecting Nigeria as a country. The same applies to the Muslims, their Imam is their demigod. |
The issue of houdegbe university seems be to complicated,we are not sure what to believe about this school, all sort of information continue springing up. There is no gainsaying the fact that the upsurge in the number of Nigerian students travelling abroad to study is a result of the rot that have characterised the nation’s educational system, especially at the tertiary level. With this fact has resulted the several controversies over the veracity or acceptability of the certificates acquired from some of these foreign universities. Tayo Lewis and Clement Idoko in Abuja investigate. ALBERT’S frustration knew no bounds. For the umpteenth time, he was being told to be patient but he certainly was beginning to lose the little patient he had garnered as a Nigerian living in the “more patient” country called Ghana. He had been assured by the authorities of his University in Ghana that the school was as authentic as they come, and that as soon as he got back to Nigeria, he will be mobilised for the National Youth Services since, he was told that his counterparts had been mobilised to the service in Ghana. Now, it is seven whole months gone, even the usual “To whom it may concern” was yet to be issued by the university whose name sounds like pentecost. Does this mean that the several dollars his parents spent to educate him for a four year course in Ghana was gone down the drain? The usual explanation from the school registrar each time he called was that the certificates were yet to be issued because the processing with the University of Ghana which his university claimed to be affiliated to was yet to clear. Albert’s agony is just a reflection of those of several Nigerian youths and their parents who have had to cough out so much money, according to Dr Bola Babalakin, SAN, billions of dollars to educate their wards in Ghana. Investigations by Education Tribune revealed that some of these Nigerians go abroad to study in low-grade universities and in some cases, unaccredited institutions. In fact, some smart Nigerian Alecs now set up tertiary schools on the West African coast and the bulk of their student populace are Nigerians who had failed to find a space in any of the nation’s 124 universities either due to some ill-luck or sheer incompetence. This is partly because some of these institutions do not require rigorous admission procedure but the students pay in dollars both to the Nigerians who act as recruitment agents within Nigeria and their proprietors who are also sometimes Nigerians. It was also gathered that candidates, who have deficiencies in terms of number of credits obtained in their ‘O’ Level secondary school leaving certificates, or who have been rusticated from universities in Nigeria for some unrully or criminal behaviours find some of these foreign institutions safe havens as long as their parents can afford the cost. A Senior Official in the Tertiary Education Department of the Federal Ministry of Education told Education Tribune in confidence that some of these institutions were established abroad to swindle prospective students, especially from Nigeria because of the crave for foreign certificates and their low academic capacities. “The Evaluation and Accreditation Department of the Federal Ministry of Education is really doing a great work but many people do not know. You find some of these people going to study in unaccredited foreign universities because of deficiency in subject requirement for admission into universities in Nigeria and coming back to put pressure on the Ministry to approve the certificates. “Nigerians intending to study abroad have always been advised to come to the Ministry to verify the accreditation status of the institution they plan to attend but some of them would not do that. It is when they encounter problems in their school that they run to the Ministry. The people in Evaluation and Accreditation Department will never listen to you if the institution is not a recognised university,” the source said. The source added that some of them who failed mathematics or English, instead of making further attempts to remedy the problem; “they look for cheap admission in Ghana and some other African countries where these unaccredited institutions keep springing up”. For instance, Ghana is an attractive country for Nigerian students seeking to study abroad because both countries not only share similar historical experiences, they both have linguistic and educational resemblance having shared the same colonial masters. There is also the surge by Nigerians to study in Ghana because of the quality of educational delivery in the country and the fact that the Ghanaian university system is acclaimed globally as outstanding. In the 2012 world ranking of top universities in Africa, all Ghana’s six public universities fared better than their Nigerian counterparts. The University of Ghana came top on the list at the 14th position. But are all these mushroom universities recognised as what they claim to be in their own countries? Investigations also revealed that only nine universities in Ghana are recognised by the Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria. This is contained in the International Handbook of Universities-2009 Volume 1, Twentieth Edition as approved by the International Association of Universities and IAU/UNESCO Information Centre on Higher Education. The universities are: the University of Legon, Accra; Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi; University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast; University of Mining and Technology, Tarkwa; and University of Education, Winneba. Others are: Central University College (CUC), Dansoman, Accra; Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Achimota, Accra; Methodist University College, Ghana, Dansoman, Accra; and University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale. Worried by the quality of certificates obtained by some Nigerians from some of these foreign universities, the Federal Government had, toward the end of last year commenced the process of verification of foreign certificates obtained by Nigerians from tertiary institutions abroad. Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa’i had inaugurated a National Standing Committee on Evaluation of Foreign Qualification in Abuja to carry out the verification exercise. The composition of the committee, anchored by the Evaluation and Accreditation Department of the Federal Ministry of Education, include the academia, retired educators, state evaluators and core civil servants. She urged members of the committee to carry out the assignment dispassionately and without bias, saying, “Let me quickly remind NSC members that the decisions they would be taking today would make or mar somebody. For this reason, it is expected that they should discharge their functions without bias”. However, a coalition of the Civil Society Organisations in Nigeria, have insisted that the Federal Government must demonstrate political will to revamp the country’s university system in order to discourage the exodus of Nigerian students to study abroad. Mr. Ezenwa Nwagwu of Coalition to Save Education in Nigeria, who decried the unimaginable rot and decay in the nation’s university system, noted that the resort to study in Ghana by many Nigerians whose parents are well-to-do was never the solution to the problem. He said: “The Ghana thing is a temporary relief, but the fundamental is that we must do something to get our universities working again, our educational institutions working again and that is our concern in the Civil Society Organisations. “If you see the report of the Needs Assessment to Nigerian Universities recently conducted, you may not want to send you child to any Nigerian Universities. So, what to do is to get everybody to come into the business of finding the solution to the problem that we have. Those who run to Ghana is like your house is burning, and you say let me move into a hotel without trying to put off the fire,” he said. Nwagwu, particularly noted that what the Independent Service Delivery Monitoring Group (ISDMG) was trying to do was to galvanise civil society actors in the country around the issues that have been raised in the Needs Assessment to Nigerian Universities that the Federal Government itself did. Stressing the need for the issues raised in the report to be put in the front burner, he said, “I have seen that document, and it is a document that no outsider should see because of the level of rot that our educational system is currently bedeviled with”. A communiqué of the civil society strategic session on tertiary education in Nigeria held in Abuja recently called and pushed for an urgent action on the part of government to act quickly and decisively in addressing the parlous state of education in Nigeria. Specifically, participants at the event organised by the ISDMG, including members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU), offered some suggestions towards the repositioning of the Nigerian university system and reducing the crave to study abroad. Some of these suggestion contained in Communiqué made available to Education Tribune in Abuja include, “That the nation’s educational philosophy must make as its centre-piece the fundamental need to develop the totality of the human person and an investment in the citizens as the agents of development and commit the needed resources for achieving this rather than viewing education primarily as a process of producing people to meet market demands “Notwithstanding the existence of the education interventionist agencies, participants called on government at all level to be alive to their fundamental duties of investing in the education of Nigerians as tool for the realisation of its developmental aspirations and not abandoning the funding of education and educational development to the interventionist agencies. Interventionist agencies remain largely interventionist and are not a substitute for the duty of governments at all levels to fund and commit the needed resources to education. “In order to address the perennial crisis of lack of industrial harmony in the tertiary education sector, accountability, transparency, probity must be enthroned through guaranteeing the autonomy of tertiary institutions as well as the rights of the industrial unions and students to independently organise free from the intervention of the management of tertiary institutions. “For efforts at revamping tertiary education in Nigeria to yield positive results, appointments of the head of tertiary institutions must de-politicised and the designation of such heads as political appointments be reversed forthwith and immediately. “That the integrity system and accountability structures of tertiary institutions including the council, senate, faculty and departmental boards of tertiary institutions must be strengthened and appointments into such be de-politicised in order for them to be alive to their responsibility of ensuring the integrity of tertiary institutions in terms of its management and services provided to the larger Nigerian economy “That transparency and probity must of necessity be enthroned in the tertiary education sector and act of corruption, punished, if the resources being committed in the sector by the interventionist agencies and the government is to produce the desired results of a revamped educational sector in the country. “That the Report of the Committee on Needs Assessment for Nigerian Universities set up by the Federal Government be implemented fully and timelines for its implementation released and that Government should honour the terms of agreements it freely entered into with stakeholder Unions to avoid incessant strike actions.” List of accredited varsities in Benin Republic Public Institutions • Abomey-Calavi University, Cotonou. • Parakou University, Parakou, Borgou Private Institutions • Advanced School of Economics and Management, Cotonou • African University of Technology and Management, Cotonou • Benin University of Science and Technology, Cotonou • Catholic University Western Africa, Cotonou • College of Surveying and Mapping, Cotonou • Higher Institute of Vocational Education, • Houdegbe North American University Benin (HNAUB), Cotonou • International Polytechnic University of Benin, Cotonou • Le Citoyen Polytechnic Institute, Cotonou, Littoral • Pigier Benin, Cotonou • Protestant University of Western Africa, Port Novo • University Institute of Benin, Cotonou List of accredited varsities in Ghana • University of Legon, Accra; • Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi; • University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast; • University of Mining and Technology, Tarkwa; • University of Education, Winneba. • Central University College (CUC), Dansoman, Accra; • Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Achimota, Accra; • Methodist University College Ghana, Dansoman, Accra; • University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale. This will serve as an example for those who placed pastors higher than God. Pastor this,Pastor that. Any little problem pastor ooo my husband do this oo, pastors ooo my wife don start again ooo...That's why some people are not independent because it is their pastors who dictate how they live their life. |
Nonsense!!! GEJ till 2019, if u dnt like that u can go and replace d man in d prison.
