Congrats!! Newww: PPR announcement. Silent reader here.
I learnt a lot from this forum and it's only fair to give back in the way I can. My pre-ITA journey was very smooth. Wrote IELTS once, evaluated only masters degree with WES (and did not require WAEC). I got ITA the day after i entered the pool. I also had a valid TRV so i was sure i would get PPR in 3 months maximum. Lo and behold it was not to be (it took 11 months). Below is my timeline;
Family of 2 VO: Ottawa AOR: 26 Oct 2018 Biometrics Passed: 27 Nov 2018 RPRF: 27 Dec 2018
Silence
ADR: 11 April 2019 (supplementary info and CV for spouse) Security screening: started 15 April 2019 ADR: 30 Aug 2019 (remedical, my 1st medical was to expire Nov, 1st) Medicals done at IOM 16 Sept 2019 Medical Passed: 22 Sept 2019 PPR: 23 Sept 2019
I wish everyone still in the process good luck and encourage those with a lengthy application like mine to remain patient; as long as your eligibility is passed, PPR will surely come. |

For those who have any doubts about Pension used as POF. Pension is accepted, I used my Pension for 100% POF for family of 6 |

Question on POFHello Good people, While awaiting PPR email,I am thinking of converting money in my POF (Money Market) to dollars and keep in my Domiciliary Account to hedge against Devaluation (in view of naira devaluation rumour circulating), I do not want to loose money my question: is there a risk CIC may view this as fresh funds as i don't know if CIC will track how long the funds have been held for? Gurus please advise.Thanks |

Georgee,
Sorry about what happened.My opinion is this-first of all thank God for what just happened to you. It could have been worse.I want you to see a positive side to your current situation.Its a temporary setback. You will bounce back,even better it all depends on YOU.its time to rejoice and ask God who created you,the next step you need to pray and have faith and trust in him ,cause He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Its a turning point in your life,it depends on YOU still to see it that way.I dont know your level of committment to God.But its time to submit to him.
This year its only GOD that will help everybody,things are happening globally.Its only those who work with God that will sail through.
For me,ill suggest that you go ahead with your marriage,because in the first place its a union that is sustained by God,not by human calculation or income.You didnt mention that you had some savings for marriage or rent before you were sacked.Pay your rent,trust in God,put yourself on a salary of mybe 20kmonthly to tidy up feeding and running around,clear all fears in your heart cause they wont allow you hear from God,pray with your wife and trust God together.Lastly give your life to christ if you have not done so.
Pray and that thing God drops in your heart do it.All is well with you. |
