segcy.moor:I already got it going for less than that sef...many thanks! |
olabukola: please what is architecure, structural, m&E plus BoQ. All these are getting me confused the more.Architectural Drawing is the drawing that shows the plan and elevations, Structural Drawing shows the well structure of the building. M&E shows the mechanical/plumbing and electrical design for the house and BoQ is the bill of quantity that attempts to show the material and labour costs required to finish the project |
Thank God for your post that your Shagamu abode carcass cost 6m. I've been hearing ridiculous amounts from contractors bothering on the 15m ish...thank God for NL, one punk was about to charge me 900k for architecture, structural, M&E plus BoQ... |
I like the touch of professionalism with the coveralls and safety gears, well done. Question 1: if the land is 21m x 28m, what is the size of the proposed building in m x m? Question 2: what is the budget to complete for this structure? Question 3: what is plumbing rough-in works? Is it akin to raft or required for strip too or unrelated to foundations? |
You have been bookmarked, don't fall my hand...hoping to learn from your journey! |
speedyboi: Please are you okay? Because I said you are boring me doesn't mean I disagree with your point. You even get time to be responding to that nicompo! Why does Onazi keep screaming T. B. Joshua's name at the cameras |
The man of the match is the Ivorian coach, Sabri Lamouchi for playing his best player out of position. He played Yaya Toure up front with Drogba and allowed the Nigerians to run riot in the middle...big ups to him! |
@ola_pluto, u lucky bad boy...the way you are talking u must be in the village...help a brother out...I have visa and can get plane ticket but no games ticket will mean a wasted visit...also ask these athletes to get on fb, twirra or even NL...so we can follow them and encourage them...don't put hope in all those girls on 51s, that won't get them anywhere...aw r d'tigers...mehn, I will kill for a chance to get into the village! |
GenBuhari: Is that in tennis? We have three gold now with the award of the Sydney 4x400mM gold to us following Pettigrew's drug scandal..shame Bada is not around to receive his... |
Oh, how I long for the days of Atlanta 96...up until Chioma's gold everything was looking bleak, but immediately she won...everyone was like I must get me a medal too o...and the harvest started, Falilat, Onyali etc. But I'm a bit pessimistic about London. While Blessing is having a good year her events are highly technical. You will recall that she only got the Bronze (Long Jump) in Beijing due to one of the finalist failing a dope test and opened the door for her to try her luck. She must learn from Ajunwa, the first jump is the ultimate....she must produce a 7.00 at least in the first round where she has only three attempts. Then in the final, she must do at least a 7.10 to medal from her first jump...I wish her the best. She beat the Jamaicans in Monaco (10.96) in the 100m just last week, so she is in form...I expect her to get to the final but must match Alozie's AR of 10.90 to medal...If she can't do a sub 10.00 in the final, there's no hope for her....the Jamaicans and Americans are doing this esily, remember 10.96 is even her PB. Ajoke Odumosu (CommonWealth Champ) too is a hope...I doubt she has doen a sun 50 yet and that is what will be required for a medal....Falilat didi an AR of 49.10 to win just Bronze and Cathy Freeman did a 47s for the gold so she knows what is expected of her. But games differ and some 400mW have been won with less time with the quality of the field largely determinant. I have absolutely no hope in the realys. The field is tough and we don't have any of our top 4 athletes being consistent. At barcelona 92 we had 2 men each in the 100mM and 200mM final so our Silver in the 4x100m was expected. These were guys doing sub 10s. Utondu, Opara-Thompson, Idehen and Onyali too were a superb team and only got Bronze...except one of the favs mess-up...I dont have any hope here. The 400m is even worse..the women may nibble the final but the men.... Vivian threw (Short Put) an AR (I believe) of 18.96 in Benin recently, she may make the final but then its anybody's...she is an experienced and seasoned athlete so she MUST make the final after all these years. I believe that is also in the top 15 best throws of the year or something like that. Chukwumerije MUST medal too in the taekwondo. Had a ridiculous Bronze instead of gold at Beijing (injury, I think) and struggled to qualify. In form now so I am expectant. In think this is my biggest hope anyway. Our boxing has completely collapsed. I think we have only 2 or so boxers at the games, appaulling! Weight-lifting...smh. Except our Basketballers can draw inspiration from Kanu et al, it will be tough. Quite commendable they beat Dominican and shockingly Greece to qualify but....their group is fire. If they fail to beat Tunisia on Sunday then they might as well leave. beating Tunisia and a bit of luck will see them to the quarter-final. they need to come 4th in a 6 team group. If they beat Tunisia, manage a result against France (beans)....then Lithuania, USA....it wont be easy but ask Bebeto and Argentina how Kanu and co dealt with them. In Summary, best case Chukwumerije Gold, Blessing Silver (LJ) Bronze (100mW), Ajoke Bronze (400mW) and Bronze (4x400mW)....anything short of this would be a disaster.....I can't wait. I love the Olympics. |
Shouldn't they be discussing BH.....am lost! |

Walahitalahi, apart from God o...the only person (dead or alive) that can rescue whatever is left of Farouk Lawan is his sworn enemy, OBJ... |
Chinom: You are certainly NOT in any position to help me. How can you when you are so st-u-pid to comprehend simply logic. Do you know anything about law and jurispundence in Nigeria.Chinon, but entrapment was used to get Amos Adamu in Central Europe or UK, for the FIFA bribe? I no be lawyer o, no yab me o.... |
Mr. Otedola, who has been embroiled in the last few days in a bribery dispute with Mr. Lawan, chairman of an ad hoc committee on fuel subsidy, gave what a police source described as “a detailed explanation” of the transactions between him and Mr. Lawan. Another police source confirmed to SaharaReporters that Mr. Lawan reported to the police that Mr. Otedola had offered him a huge bribe, but also revealed that the chair of the legislative committee on fuel subsidy rebuffed several entreaties by the police to hand over the cash as exhibit money. The police source also claimed that their investigations so far had established that Mr. Lawan initiated the contact with Mr. Otedola and demanded a bribe in exchange for removing two of Otedola’s firms from adverse reports that would beam an investigative searchlight on the theft of hundreds of millions of dollars in oil subsidy funds. The police also confirmed that the SSS worked with Mr. Otedola to videotape the bribe and also snooped on several phone conversation between the Zenon executive and the legislator. Police sources said that they believed Mr. Farouk contacted them to report that he was in possession of bribe money only after he realized that the currencies were marked. “I think he did it to save face,” said one police source. In other news, the NGN exchanged at $1 to NGN163 due to scarcity......(all the dollar dey between Otedole, Facrook, SSS and NPF) |
Otedola guilty of entrapment — Sagay Reacting to the allegation of $620,000 bribery involving the managing director of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd, Mr. Femi Otedola, against the chairman of the House committee that investigated the fuel subsidy regime, Hon. Farouk Lawan, a foremost constitutional lawyer, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), has said that Otedola was guilty of entrapment. Speaking with LEADERSHIP over the phone, Prof. Sagay said entrapment is an immoral way of trapping someone with criminal tendencies to commit the suspected crime. “It is a plan to trap someone into a criminal situation. If a person is suspected to be a drug dealer, a policeman can pose as a drug addict. And when the drug dealer comes to sell the drug, he will be arrested. The problem with entrapment is that the crime does not occur naturally. If one is successfully entrapped, it is an immoral way of establishing someone’s criminal tendencies,” he said. On whether Otedola was guilty of entrapment, Sagay simply replied, “That is what it could mean.” Sagay expressed regret over the allegation preferred against Lawan, saying he had always seen the four-time House of Representatives member as the face of integrity and transparency in the National assembly. “It is a major tragedy for this country. If it is true, then, it will leave a major vacuum in the National Assembly,” he stated. He further called on all Nigerians and the civil society organisations to resist what he called an attempt by the cabal indicted in the report to cast a slur on the integrity of the committee that produced the report. |
Olu_Bendel: Another problem with this movie is that the said monies were marked allegedly by the SSS. Where will Mr. farouk get back the originals from if he has tampered with them? wouldnt the abokis he sold them to have traded with them? let him bring the money to the floor and let the SSS confirm they are the originals. I like this show!!I just Lawan has not touch a dime of that money nor lodge it nor changed it...else...that will be incontrovertible! |
[/b] mjconcept:would be suitable. The title should be BUSH MEAT DON CATCH the HUNTER |
...he didn't want his boyz to know so that there will be no witness to be called in court! Ola one: They wanted to discredit the report. And, boy, did they succeed? |
...the dailies today carried it. The MIrror. Zenon was removed after the first sitting because Facrook claimed it had been listed in error as more information has come to the committee. Information implying $$$. agabaI23: One more thing. |
Integrity is like a brand new car, any dent on it and its value is lost. If you want to be Mr. Integrity, then u must never allow for the slightest dent to your values. The mere change of story ALONE has done irrepairable damage to Farouk. I was once offered a bribe by a contractor, I turned it down and sent him out of my office. Immediately he left I went to my boss and his boss to report the incident, they asked me to go get the contractor's documents. Before I got back the contractor was there briefing them that I had demanded for a bribe from him. Despite this, it took the grace of God for me to get out of this with my reputation intact. The first question my boss asked me was why i had a meeting with a contractor ALONE in my office. But wait o, is it only me that think these guys have lost the value of money? $3m in CASH (almost half a billion naira), is that not madness? Do you dig a hole in your compound? You can't take it to bank because of Sanusi, you can't take it abroad...how in the world do you manage such amount? If you take such from 10 people.....Jesox! |
The advert was very very okay.....until that not well thought out line at the end....it makes it even seem we are just a continent going with the wind, no stability nor direction! |

I don't suppose the machine can detect drugs. The machine can only detect when there's a foreign body in you. It is scientifically impossible to have a foreign body in your tummy wihout either it being digested into your system or your system rejecting it via serious purging/stooling. To have kept the guy for so long without it coming out or sucked into his sytem shows the item is either part of him or some high level jazz! If it was part of him, it could be a tumor and could even be "dangerful" for Baba Suwe. Machines are machines, the Concorde did crash, space shuttle blow up on re-entry...what makes an ordianry x-ray machine so unfailable? |
People are always afraid of change. There's nothing special in changing the name from UNILAG. Infact akokites should be glad the school is now associated with a freedom fighter and not a disguised looter. At least there is Sani Abacha Stadium, what if someone dumber had proposed Sani Abacha University Akoka. A lot of noise was rasied in renaming Uni-Ife back then, is everyone not wearing OAU now with pride? Yeah, this is some cheap political point being scored but Moshood Kasimawo Abiola is one of the greatest Nigerians in the last 30 years, so don't discount the name because of GEJ or the current circumstance. |
Chuba1, thank you for this bit of delightful information. Mr. chmod777, you will agree that chuba1's post sums up IMO's claim to be the best educated or getting education unlike the previous data that had been posted. The beauty of the post is that, no words were required to decipher it. It justs "talks" itself. Persistent questioning educates us all and nullifies the assumptions we hold into hard facts. AM JUST SAYING. PS: IT wont kill us to be polite in our discourse on NL, after all who's from where exactly? |
chmod777: It seems young Nigerians lack brains, no wonder we are not developing. JAMB has always told us that the number of applicants who indicated IMO as state of origin has always been the highest. What more do you want to hearSir, Perharps you can share with us a link that says "applicants that INDICATED Imo" we can put this conversation to bed. Assumptions can be dangerous. Please, help me with the link. I'm willing to learn sir! AM ONLY JUST SAYING! |
Funkymallam: I dnt call names pls. If calling u a young man equates nsmes calling to u, then am truely sorry about it, cus i mean no harm.Apology accepted sir. I just don't like us drawing conclusion from incomplete data. As much as we do not require spoon feeding, things aren't always as they seem even when in plain sight. There are and should be underlying explanations to data before conclusive inferences can be categorically stamped. JUST SAYING! |
Funkymallam: Young man, u want to tell me that more ppl applied for jamb in imo state, delta state, anambra state than Lagos state?Yaya Maigida, I really don't see the need for name calling. We are just trying to have a civil converstaion. I could be wrong but just try to make your point. That aside, I am impressed by your link which just goes to underline my point. The link states 123,865 applications CAME FROM IMO STATE....what does that imply. Let's think...does that translate into indigene? Statistically, most of the states ranked highest, rank in the second 1/3 of population figures except Oyo. Others ranked above them are mostly northern states where literacy is low. This could buttress your own point only that this would majorly b an assumption/educated guess. As the data and information doesn't specifically say the 123k applicants are indegene of IMO, you cannot infer thus. You will not be able to quote this in an academic thesis. AM JUST SAYING! |

?. If you feel it is the number who sat in IMO state, this means you are now saying that population in IMO is higher than Lagos, OYO, Kano etc.. this becomes a big question for Nigeria.
