marlow1962: I have a friend that is a single lady at age 30, no husband no kids, no boyfriend self. One day we were chatting about her issues, I told her I can help her out but Its going to come with a cost. Just 2 things I told her, 1= that I won't be responsible for her or the baby or anything relating to her delivering the baby. 2= she's going to pay me.
She was speaking gibberish and I was just looking at her, up til now she's doesn't have any to hold on to. Still no man and no kids. I do not feel pity for her cus I know many men that I personally know of that were interested in her, but she dy do baddie, thinking she still has time.
Many women are the cause of their problems.
No woman will agree to this type of evil proposition no matter how desperate for a child she is
budaatum: You guy seriously need to buck up or become surplus to requirements!
Men have always been 'surplus to requirements'
In France already, you cannot do a DNA test without the partner's consent, according to them 'fatherhood is social, whilst motherhood is biological'. And in all the developed world if you divorce your wife you're the one gets kicked out of the house & into the streets. Nigeria will get there eventually
slimfit1: If a state deserves a governor like Benue people they are the reflection of their governor. How is wish my governor was my reflection. The Benue people must be one of the people you can take what belongs to them and still the people will be begging for them to give me change after stilling their resources don't correct my spelling oh just leave me and my English teacher he was an Igbo man.
Been saying this for a while, Nigerians are mostly getting what they deserve
Diezani was the Queen of Thieves during Jonathan's regime; the most painful thing was that she was not even getting the meat of the stolen funds, she had people like Jide Omokore and Kola Aluko do her dirty jobs for her and all they gave her was the crumbs as her share
EvergreenDiarie: Lege Miami has fired back at VeryDarkMan, telling him to “be a real activist” after his comments on current issues. In his reply, Lege Miami insists Instablog is the only unbiased and real platform he trusts. He also questions why VeryDarkMan is linking the Lekki flood to President Tinubu, asking sarcastically, “Is it Tinubu that made rain to fall?”
This heated exchange has sparked conversations online about activism, accountability, and the role of influencers in shaping public opinion. Watch as the drama unfolds!
eazzzy1: He already failed his fore fathers if his wife is allowed to have money. Your fore fathers paid the bill and refuse women work to ensure dependency.
IrokoNewsTv: Bold words, but Nigerians are tired of promises — we want ACTION. If EFCC truly breaks the siege of corruption, history will never forget. 🇳🇬🔥 The question is: will this be different from the past, or just another speech?
cooltola: No one likes to beg but weitin man go do if oppurtunities are limited. Na condition dey make crayfish bend, if descent jobs were available, the begging go reduce a lot. To those who are annoyed by the disturbances- please have some empathy but give with sense.
I blame the dashing culture for this situation especially. Too many riich people dey dash big money to friends who then become dependent on them. Teach a friend how to fish so he or she does not see you as ATM. And simple say no right from the beginning. What the youth needs are good paying jobs so they can do something meaningful. Industrial Mining is a lucrative business that can employ a lot of unemployed youth. I charge the FG, State government, Local government, Obas, Obi, Onis and all big men to look into mining to employ the youths. It is a win ,win for everyone, it is honest work , honorable work that is clean.
Nigerians mostly beg out of laziness and greed,,, offer them jobs instead and find out that they prefer to beg than to work
Authorities continued the demolition of several plazas at the Trade Fair Market in Lagos State this afternoon.
The operation, which has drawn the attention of traders and residents, is part of a broader enforcement drive targeting structures said to violate planning regulations.
Yeah bring it all down
Nigerians are not yet ready to be serious, they still think this is all a game
Zoning only takes the Big Three into account so there's really no point to it, moreso we're having Muslim-muslim tickets, fake Bishops and everything....zoning is simply another scam perpetrated by the criminal elite
Jacoban20: I know someone whose dad died more than 25 years ago, leaving them some landed properties and buildings.
Of the 7 siblings (3 ladies and 4 guys), all married, only one can be said to be really wealthy. And it's a lady.
The youngest of them is over 40 years old, married with kids.
The problem is that the first son has been tampering with the family money in his custody, and millions generated from rent as well as sale of one of the buildings can't be accounted for. And he's also owing millions of naira somewhere.
As the first son, most of the decisions over family matters has been by him in conjunction with the eldest of the 7 (a lady), which is how the family purse ended up with him in the first place. And they seem to override the opinions of the other siblings who are partly allowing it so as to remain on the good books of the eldest who happens to be the only one doing well financially. For instance, if any of them needed a loan from the family purse and isn't a favorite to them (eldest son and eldest sister), they easily find an excuse to deny person.
Now, my friend who is one of the younger siblings (over 40 years old) wants to call a meeting, ask for account of the monies unaccounted for and also ask for the inheritance to be shared, to allow everybody to control their portion by themselves.
But he wants to be sure that IT IS NOT TOO EARLY, and that it won't cause division in the family.
Also how should the sharing formula look like?
I'll send him link to read all the comments. Please advise him. Thanks
25 years is actually too late...and if they are not careful the 1st son will die and pass everything on to his own kids
ChilledPill: Please any doctor in the house should help me and unravel this.
My mother has been suffering from blood drainage since 2019.
We have taken her to so many hospitals and have done series and countless test and radiographic all to no avail.
We went to FMC umuahia and they did what called indoscopy test and they later placed her on some medications but she's has been taking the medications but no result.
Because of how her blood always dries out , on August 20 she did blood test and found out that her blood is remaining 11% so we bought blood and it was transfused into her body now barely 1month of that one, she went to check her blood again and we found out that it has dropped to 11% again.
We are now confused some people are saying it's spiritual and while others are saying that we have not really found the main problem.
I have spent a lot of money to keep her alive.
Nairaland is a big family and I believe I will find advice, help and information concerning this issue.
