My dad had this few years ago, I'm not if sure he still has it on his legs though. As far as I can remember it wasn't as severe as yours and trust me going to a dermatologist will be helpful instead of asking here.

My dad went to a dermatologist and it started to clear.

Sorry pls in searching for accommodation. I want something like a room all to myself. That's the single room type if am correct.
Any suggestions as to if it make sense.?
Anyone with experience about apartments in germany?
As a black person, it's hard to find an apartment in big cities. Landlords tend to prefer Germans instead of foreigners if they are reviewing the profile of people who applied for their apartment. Also, as a student landlords are reluctant to rent out their apartments to students(from my experience).

If you are a student, it's relatively easier to look for student shared apartments.

Fellow students are more open minded in letting you share the apartment with them. The only down side is that, living in a shared apartment can be draining especially if your flatmates are dirty!.

Another alternative is to apply for a room in the student hostel but if you are heading to bigger cities, it takes 2-3 semesters(could be more) before you can find a place.

Another alternative is to live in villages around your city of studies. Getting an apartment in a village is way easier and it's cheaper.

Wait, I thought this thread is for males only grin. Lemme run and take cover. cheesy

The "black like charcoal" part...I exegerrated that part, d emojis were not working when I wrote that. It's just a twisted way of saying a guy should have good grooming.

The part that German girls will always pick a German over u... it's all in your head, it isn't true and this is from personal experience. If my gf's countrymen see us together...they always have this "what d f**k" look on their faces. And that's when she will even intensify her public display of affection. Her nationality is even more "racist" than Germans. The barrier only exist in our head.

Colored South Africans is what u have if a black south African marries a white. After a few generations, we have this hybrid kids who are neither black nor white. They are a rather sweet "breed" just like the bottom of a pot of jollof.

But since we are already here. Why are Naija girls usually humble like cold water especially when they find themselves abroad? grin
So, in conclusion your gf is white?.

I still stand by my statement though, the average German lady would still choose their own over you and you having a white gf doesn't change the fact. And no, it is not in my head. This is the reality here in Germany.

I don't know what you mean by that question tbh. I thought naija guys normally say that we Nigerian women 'form' in the abraod, whatever that means grin. And this being humble like cold water is new to me cause I haven't seen it!.

And why are you guys humble around white women?, lol. You do things with her that you won't do with a black woman. It's cool though wink.
TravelRe: DON'T LISTEN TO Anyone Who Discourages You From Travelling Abroad by janettee(f): 9:36am On Nov 17, 2019
I don't know why people are always interested in dating white women, lol.

Nothing wrong with that but some of you just want to date them because they are white undecided, nothing else!.

You would date a morbidly obese white woman but won't date a morbidly obese black woman.

Things you won't tolerate with a black woman, you would with a white woman.

I've heard stories sha undecided.

Everyone who went to Germany wanted to make it but life is a biatch. You are still in the system and it's a bit too early to give advise.

Start planning your exit bro, na countdown u dey. But all four points points are valid tho.

I dey enjoy your writing skills tho. But try and get a native. What's d point in paying all that plane money only to hook up with another Naija girl. Them never tire uuu? Even if u dey reason black, you no see colored South Africans or Ethiopians for ground? I go vex for u o.

Relationship is like a negotiation. If a girl feels like u are getting a better deal than her, she will always be reluctant.
Don't be desperate. You will get something tentative, but making her ur gf is up to your game.

Forget all these talk of white girls being a racist or they care about what their folks will say. As long as u no worwor or black like charcoal, u will get something. You a black, u r scarce, n valuable. Goodluck bro.
What's wrong with Nigerian girls?, lmao. OP already mentioned white girls aren't checking for black guys in Germany?. What do you want him to do?
What the hell do you mean by cloured south Africans??.

German girls don't care if you are a light skinned African with huge BBC. They will still choose their own over you.

And saying things like, 'black like charcoal ' is pretty dumb to me.

A dark skinned black guy is still attractive!. And just because someone is light skinned doesn't automatically mean they are attractive!. This is the mistake you people make.

Even blaming the innocent woman who doesn’t know what this OP is up to for not putting up her family picture to warn *girls* that he is married? That girlfriend is completely crazy!!! She has known from the get go that OP was married. She was playing along and looking for proof. When girl say they dream about this and that, they have seen evidence and just want you to admit. Her dream was too exact and vivid to be a revelation! Trust me!

I'm surprised some people here are endorsing her actions.

I’m someone who’s willing to hustle and accept any kind of legal job as a student. I have been reading the thread and quora got informations how a student can make up to 700-€800 monthly while studying with the minimum wage and 20hrs per week, of which one would likely be needed 500-€600 for survival (could be lower or higher), I set my mind to this and was happy, knowing I could send 50-€100 to the family ahome, while during the holiday I can work full time n make more (though I don’t know if I’ll be taxed)
I was very happy reading this started sending out my applications, but decided to ask people in the current system they’ll be in the best position to tell me reality...

Someone made mention of how a very small percentage of international students gets a good job after masters to apply for PR but that didn’t scare me becos with the BA saved and maybe topping it more throughout your masters and 1/half work years giving one can easily re-apply for another masters/PHD or easily port somewhere else with the money saved, but leaving Nigeria to Europe is a good step and the experience over there one would surely set his/her compass properly, these are all the informations I gathered reading this thread and quora.

Pls can you or anyone in the system help this poor dude tell me the realities, if all I have typed makes sense or just dreams , I need realities pls, no matter how blunt I’ll like to know what I’m up against before making the decision, I just sold a family property and ready to make this journey...pls I beg you or anyone one in the house. I’m on my knees.

Sis, Thank you so much for your time reply. God bless.
All what you typed are reasonable but the reality is different!. Combining working and studying isn't easy. It requires discipline. If money starts rolling into your account, you might even decide to focus on working and abandon studies (people have done it and it worked for them).

Now to the job part. Not all jobs pay that much. So, you might not start earning 800€ the first month. Jobs that pay up to 800€ or monthly are usually stressful. I'm talking about menial job in this context. A friend who works for Amazon earn up to 1500€ after tax but you don't want to know the stress involved smiley!. But my experience with Nigerians here is that when it comes to working, they don't feel the stress as much as I do because money is their motivation. I had two jobs during the summer holidays and that shit was stressful lol and I'm not doing that again grin.

Personally, I wouldn't do such stressful job for more than 2 months. Any menial job that pays 450€ per month is better for a student to have because the stress involved isn't much and you have time to do other things.

I don't know what course you are going for so it's hard to conclude if you need a second masters or PhD. PhD is hard to get with what have seen here and it doesn't even pay that much for something that's competitive.

If you don't have passion for research, I don't see why you should do PhD in Germany. The pay isn't even encouraging.

See, if you are ready to be stressed out, you will be alright wink.

What a joke
But mathematics is important for computer science. It has nothing to do with Nigeria being backward.

I'm currently studying computer science, not in Nigeria though and Linear Algebra/ Advanced Calculus are required.

not because of pride but because I totally wanna keep this account anonymous and faceless and don't wanna reveal any private details online.
Ask me any question (that doesn't involve me mentioning any names) then I will answer you accordingly and satisfactorily whenever I have time (because I usually work all night (12am till 7am) and face school and language parol during the day, so hardly get time).
All questions (that are not private) will be answered here so that others will benefit. I usually get time during the weekend especially on Sundays

Calm down. The probability that you will use up your money is very low but it's good you are already thinking of such situation.

Just apply to bigger cities, you will be fine.

Thank you very much for the detailed answer, so I’ll have to gets University’s in big cities then.
I really don’t mind doing any kind of job as a student...
Concerning the BA, what other alternative are you talking about?? And is it true one would need to present another BA for the next year or after masters when applying for work permit.

I’m planning on an Engineering course and hopefully I can combine studies and work with the limited hours permitted, as much studying is also important I just sold my family’s property to make up the BA, and that’s all I have, I was hoping to keep that in savings while I work over there to take care of basic bills.
The alternatives I know are taking semester break to work full time for the money or borrowing from people you know in order to renew your visa at least!.

But I doubt you will use up your BA money.

Hello Sir, Thanks for feedback, like I mentioned everyone kept giving indirect answers, I prefer to be realistic not to get disappointed...that’s why I’ll like to hear from ppl over there...if one can easily get a student job over there without the knowledge of German or it’s hanging on luck and chances too?
It may depend on the city you are heading to. If it's Frankfurt, a big city, then getting a job without the knowledge of German is relatively easy. But the question is, is it the job you want? cool. It might take time to get what you really want except of course you don't care and can do anything.

If it's a small city, then it will be hard without the knowledge of German. Also, small cities don't usually have student jobs. From my experience, there are jobs in small cities but those are usually full time jobs.

It depends on luck and chances and how 'strong ' you are. Combining studying and working isn't easy.

I hope that answers your question.

There's always an alternative if you use up your BA money, it's not that bad.

If you are lucky and received your visa alongside your work permit, then there's a chance you could start working shortly after arriving. If your visa doesn't come with work permit, then you have to wait longer. For how long, that I do not know!.
