HighPriest0: I can't help but laugh when I see some people attributing the lack of AD to the scarcity of VOs at the embassy.
Please stop deceiving yourself and hand over the matter to God.
Pray fervently and hope for AD.
Also try to look towards other countries too in case...
But seriously if there's any country that Germany needs to cut off from coming to Germany, it is India. My God! Their population is too much here....
Personally, I don't like them. Why don't you like them?. Personally, I think they are smart and a good number of them work for SAP. |

Mikeval001: I understand you clearly and you are right. We've have seen many people come here to tell us they saw only or two VO at the embassy,I believe very soon everything will be sorted out. I realized that even Category A are also having delays on getting AD unlike before when they get their AD in 72hours,I don't think the Consulate would want to issue out much AD only for students to get to the embassy and there are limited VO to attend to them and end up making the embassy crowded. We should also know that this block Account fund of a thing makes a lot of impact on the German economy. I think you are making excuses for the German consulate. |

Coldie: People have faith and would doubt anything.
That's how they doubted the September flush of the embassy's system despite it being written boldly on the embassy site.
This is the first time I am seeing that update about waiting for 12months or more, that means it was updated of recent, they will still doubt.
Some people own better, what about some of us that have blocked accounts already, I blocked my BA since July, yet see what the embassy is saying. If it's written on the website then it must be the truth, faith or no faith. Things are changing drastically and I also won't be surprised if they increase the blocked account next year because the German government are also planning to increase the bafoeg for students next year, that is exactly what happened this year. At this point, people in Cat B can only hope to get AD, because this wait is not only affecting students but also family reunion and work visas. |

mbhs139: Let's look at it this way. Say you earn 150k monthly in Nigeria and you pay say, 45k as tax monthly, with all the amenities such as you have in Germany, ẹ.g. you don't pay school fees until your children gets to university, free medicals, child care benefit for your children. For instance, I leave in Canada. I earn 3600 dollars per month and I'm being taxed like 750 dollars. Meanwhile, my two children gets ccb of 1300, paid to their mother every month. (Shay I never get my 750 back ?) University education is free in Germany too . |

Champagnemami: Most job contracts have a 2year duration. After one year you're entitled to a paid vacation that includes to and fro flight to your home country. Many of this contract require that you work at least a year b4 you can resign.
In my case, I work as a teacher and I can only resign at the end of an academic session.
Anything short of this is a breach, and can result in a work ban.
If your employer refuses to give you your passport and you're able to make a case against him, he can be blacklisted and deported too. The UAE is not that lawless That's if you have the money to make a case against them. . I see no reason why an employer should withhold one's passport. |
Travel › Re: My Experience Living And Working In The UAE by janettee(f): 1:29pm On Dec 09, 2019 |
Champagnemami: Your employer takes your passport to prepare your visa. When he's done, he holds on to it cos he has spent money securing your stay, money you have not worked for. To secure his investment, he holds on to your passport so that you wont run after one month. The day you tire, you walk up to him and tell him you no do again, this is usually after a year. He then returns your passport, cancels your visa, and the system gives you 28 days to either renew or leave the country BS . Better to remain in Nigeria. |

Larryhillz28: I have a sponsor who has sent me a sponsorship letter and also stays in freiburg...the school said I can pay in 4 installments after I presented a financial plan to them...so my question is when is the best time to apply for the visa thanks Will the sponsor you give you money?. From my experience here most students with sponsorship letter literally fund their studies themselves. That sponsorship letter in most cases only prevent them from using blocked account. 22k€ is much when there are universites where you pay 153€ per semester for tuition. And no, minijob won't help you pay, if that's your hope. If are sure the sponsor will give you money, great!. Otherwise, I would advise you to look into other universities that are free. |

But its not like you have to leave Nigeria to prevent that. You just have to guard the child around family members Okay, now I get why the reason they gave wasn't sufficient enough to be granted asylum. |

tianshie: Usually with the parents' consent. But if the family has grandparents—or uncles, aunts—continually pressuring the parents, it might be a good idea to stay away for your own mental health, and the safety of your kids.
I heard once of a Yoruba grandmother who gave her grandchild tribal marks against the wish of her own daughter—the mother of the child. Interesting. |

tianshie: Female circumcision DOES happen in Nigeria. In form yourself. It doesn't always entail the cutting of parts of the geni.talia, sometimes very hot water is used to dab the clitoris to lessen its sensitivity. This happens in Igboland. Such women have low libido. I'm uniformed on this issue. Does it happen without the parent's consent?. Could someone decide to do such on a kid without the parent's approval? |
