Wasn't deviating, Ekealterego was trying to gather the rest of the CIRCUS because he thought I didn't know what I was talking about.
I bet he'll be thanking you in telegram for drawing us out his blunder while trying to shame me but shaming himself.

Sequence of kings and events eh?
But the others claim the reviewer was hitting on Alagoa copying from Fombo. Na wa o, why don't you want to complete the entire isi'okwu ehn idenna?
Ide papa ya ogini?
The others are angry his works mirror Fombo and one of your circus member claims "igbos need to get their hands on Fombo's work" lol
Let me help you with a screenshot if you were expecting more other than "kings and events" of which events is the main notion behind Chronicles.
Besides my time here is done for today, goodbye.
Bros these guys are a huge disappointment really.
The reviewer simply expressed his displeasure at the quality of the work;poor in-text citations and reliance on secondary references. He also expressed concern that Fumbo's original manuscript was suppressed in favour of Alagoa's.No specifics as to what must have been taken out.How they came up with the idea that an Igbo narrative was swapped for Ijo one still baffles me.Besides, it's just one bad review by an Academic that had nothing to do with his institution;the University of Swansea.

Early this year,I had an obnoxious review from a particular reviewer on a Springer journal.A review I found distasteful.I took my manuscript, submitted to another Springer journal with a much higher impact factor. That same manuscript has been published, and with citations already.

There is something that hate and stupidity combined does to a person, and it's manifest in these guys.

JANK23H, please, do not stress me, one of the reasons why Alagoa came up many times on this thread was because earlier in the thread your guys, when they did not have anything kept referencing him and getting excerpts referencing him. Which defeats the whole purpose of the discussion.

Harry Potter had negative reviews,
Gone with the wind did so too
Even the Bible which grossed more sales than any other book in the world got loads of negative reviews.
No one can ever do good in this life, and I'm surprised grown men are seeing these kind of things and celebrating it like it's a first, grown men o.

This thread is the most stupid thread ever, and it just goes to prove how unexposed, ignorant and childish they are.
Of course I know,I said that earlier in some other thread.Infact he has more recommendations and citations than negative reviews.

I just want them to show how silly they are.

Alabo the strawman. Incase yoi domt know what a strawman is, it is a form of argument having the impression of refuting an argument, whereas the real subject of the argument was not addressed or refuted, but instead replaced with a false one.

So, when you first meet them, you shout Ijo down their throats?

Bro, in that context, Ijos are not really in their purview of Ndi Mbamiri, although you are technically Mbamiri... They generally refer to Igboid groups living near water as Mbamiri.. Most do not know the geography of Bayelsa or what it looks like to call them Mbamiri.

Again, Igbo communities have different names for other Igbo communities and non-Igbos... Cross-River and Akwa-Ibom, although sharing similar landscape as Rivers, are refered to as, "Ndi Mmoghu".

Most of them don't even know the states where you can find Ijo people except you educate them. For you to claim descrimination only because you are Ijo is just something you want to hold on to..

Talking about Minority hate, it's always interesting to see aggressors crying foul. Look at half of the politics section is about one anti-Igbo thread or the other.

Go to Facebook pages of minority groups who love Igbos, you will find Ijaw agents publishing one anti-Igbo publications or the other.
You must think very poorly of your people to have said that.

A lot of Igbos know exactly who Ijos are and where they are located. It might interest you to know I'm married to an Igbo lady from Nnewi South, and so I have a very good idea of what I'm talking about. What transpired before the wedding and the snide remarks some in-laws make.

An scientific study can be turned down by a reputable journal or publisher as a result of poor review, and still be accepted by another reputable journal or publisher.I've experienced it on different occasions.

on what basis were you discriminated against? Do you tell them first hand you are Ijaw and they just started discriminating against you?

Did they sense where you are from first hand?

Come on na....why won't they know where or who Ijos are?
I identify proudly as Ijo anywhere I go and they refer to us as "Mbamiri".
You need not go far.Take Nairaland as a case study, read the comments made by your fellow Igbos it's the same sentiment against the other "minority tribes".Ever wondered why non-igboid and some Igboid NigerDelta tribes are comfortable with the South Easterners.

You see this particular energy you have is just exactly the same energy organisations like IPOB or even an average Igbo had.
This shows in their national politics and how they align on issues.

Before Jonathan, the average Igbo thought and believed that Ijaws were "brothers" who spoke a different language. They view everyone from Rivers to Cross-Rivers as such; even some go as far as Idoma.

When you see national sentiments and concerns regarding the fight for minority rights, the oil spill or even killings, Igbos would usually be most vocal, which pits them against the other big two.

The last one I remember was the installation of Jonathan when Yaradua died, his first election and re-election. Normally, one can support a candidate, but you see the average Igbo supported Jonathan despite his performance. I remember how scary it was in Lagos; many Igbo people had to buy cutlass at home because of Jonathan.

During the Niger-Delta fight, Saro Wiwa etc.

Yes, I know there are Igbos in SS, so the interest, but most Igbo will not negotiate their rights without saying "SE and SS", adding Ijaws to it.

Numerically, Ijaws alone cannot influence matters on behalf or against the Igbos in national politics; they will have more to gain if they aligned with Yorubas.

While Igbos were thinking good of the Ijaws, the Ijaws were busy spreading anti-Igbo sentiments any chance they got. This particular energy you see is new.
You are not being truthful with the statement that the average Igbo perceived the Ijos and by extension the other NigerDelta tribes as "brothers".As one who graduated from FUTO,I experienced first hand discrimination from alot of Igbos around;mostly as someone inferior. This same denigrating sentiment prompted Boro to declare the NigerDelta Republic, because he experienced same at UNN at the time.

With regards to Jonathan pre 2015,his support didn't come mostly from Igbos, but across all tribes.Infact, one reason he fell out with the other "major tribes" was the perception that he was more inclined towards the Igbos.Frankly, the Igbos had it so good during his administration.

So please,do not misinform.

What exactly is the difference between Ijaw and Igbo?

There many people we now regard as Igbos whose forefathers came from Ijaw villages and there are Ijaws today whose ancestors came from igbo villages.

Both the Ijaw and Igbo identities as we know them today were recently fabricated social groups created by the British Colonial Masters for the purpose of identifications largely based on perceived similarities in languages, culture and coextensive territories.

I support this angle or hypotesis. Ndoki dialect of Igbo was the aboriginal language but was almost displaced just like the Ibibiod language in those axis before the coming of the slave trade that saw a mass influx of Isuama dominated slaves into the Island. This move single-handedly revived the language and push the Kalabari dialect now dubiously called Ibani into submission. What Ijaw pirates couldn't achieve in Bonny/Opobo, they succeded in Brass, Nembe, Kalabari and in some sections of Okrika.

Today the Ijaw labdgrabbers led by Alagoa the fraud, are trying to push Kalabari dialect called Ibani into Bonny mainstream. "The speak Ibani initiative, the stop speaking Igbo", "the revive your Ibani mother tongue", "the stop saying biko but Ibama", etc has been part of this agenda since Adaka Boro couldn't wipe off the people during the civil war genocide.

The game is now exposed. Ndigbo over to you.
You've come with your hypothesis again. We are debating facts and dissecting a statement here.

Always digging conjuctures from your ass.

One minute Kalabari is Igbo and Ibani is an Igbo dialect, the next minute it's an Ijo dialect.

I have asked for excerpts or news report where Boro or Boro led Nigeria Army attacked Bonny.Till date no response.

You can't deceive the world with this lies.We are not all IPoB.

The article started like this "Commencing with Bonny and its people, if they are of Ibo origin as ALL THE EVIDENCE OBTAINABLE APPEARS TO PROVE"

That is there is no doubt that Bonny people are of Igbo origin. No single reasonable doubt, then went ahead to lay an opinion like most of you are doing here.

But one thing you can't take off the thread is that there is no single doubt that Bonny people are of Igbo descent.

Now if you are buying the opinion, that means that you don't even recognise Pepple, his ancestors, the other Bonny Kings and the current natives as the Original inhabitants of Bonny.
You people have not said what you want.
Who are the Bonny people?

Of course the Igbo slaves can be regarded as "Bonny people" because by European standards they had been in Bonny for sometime;some may have been born there.

You didn't attend to the issue I raised though.Attend to it.That is where the distinction was made between the Ijos and Igbos.
