No they are not.David Hundeyin is very correct.Their language and culture is totally different from that of Yorubas, however those Eguns in Lagos and Ogun state have been massively influence by their Yoruba neighbours that many speak Yoruba alongside their Egun language.

I lived amongst them for time,so I have first hand knowledge about them.Infact,they get irritated when grouped as Yorubas.

This is exactly what happens to a lot of smaller tribes in Nigeria.Alot of Nigerians are also very Ignorant they classify everyone as Igbo,Yoruba and Hausa.
