Your advise is ok,but he should prepare well,i was in UK 1 months ago, the officer i met at bother was very tough.She asked about where I will stay,after confirming the hotel reservation, she also confirmed that i was actually invited for conference .Let him be sure that he maintained same story.If he didnt mention staying with the friend in his application, he shouldnt mention it at the border.

if you are first timer to the Uk i will Advice you stick to the information used on your documentation which is the hotel reserved ,majority of questions you will be asked is on
1.How long are you staying in the Uk
2 Do you have your return ticket and when are you returning
3 how much do you have on you? do u have sufficient fund on you

Good day house, I applied for a visiting visa late last year, for my sister's graduation but I was refused. I would have posted this earlier but not have much time to. Pls could someone explain why, cos I don't really understand. The funds I indicated I would use for the trip expenses were in a savings account and it my personal savings over the years.

And it was well over 10m which would have covered the cost of the trip. While about 3.5m in the account for business purposes. Pls could someone explain what they meant here

Even when your company is sponsoring you,your personal account should be able to conver your expenses for the number of days you intend to spend there.They wont approve if they see you as burden,they only like people that wants to spend on their country.

It depends on the officer that reviewed your wife's document, I forgot to upload my conference invitation letter ,though is visit Visa but they still approved.

If you're flying from Nigeria to UK with just a stop over in (Instabul) Turkey, you don't need transit visa.
For the connecting flight ✈️, I go advice you to select one with 2hrs + stopover because their airport in Turkey dey big .
In terms good and reliable, at least they beta pass most of 9ja airlines.

Yes, they will send you mail either for approval or rejection. For refusal, they will state the reason for refusal.

Hello everyone, it's nice to come across this thread. I remember around 2916/17 I used to read on thread like this while I was in Nigeria hoping to find myself in the US someday but exactly end of 2017 I got in with my hubby. Anyway to those who still contemplating of coming to US do not give up your dream although US is very hard to get in now but some people are still coming in. US is a land of opportunities with less cost of living compare to Canada and UK although it depends on the State you are. If you are a new immigrant midwest states are the best for you(Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Iowa, part of Illinois,
Missouri etc) interm of settling in on time because the cost of living is cheaper and a lot of job opportunities for new Comer although the cold is much during the winter. I would not advise new comers with no legal status to stay in Atlanta, Texas, California, Florida etc Atlanta Georgia is out of the pictures because the state pays lower and some bills are higher eg Auto insurance is ×3 of that of Indiana. Texas is not expensive but no immigrants job(if you understand what I mean) California is generally expensive. We landed in Indiana which really helped us to get settled on time but we chose to explore and we moved to Atlanta but that was a mistake and we are planning to relocate back to Indiana.

I am here to give one or two input when it comes to issues here in the US.
