CelebritiesRe: Peter Okoye: No One Is Allowed To Visit My House Or Office Without A PVC by jansonn(m): 8:26am On Jun 07, 2022
efficiencie:
All this craze for PVC shows you all have learned nothing and you need to continue suffering until you learn. When OBJ contested after being released from prison we all shouted get your voters card and vote for OBJ he will do this he will do that. Una mumu mode activate sharperly and una vote in OBJ. OBJ entered and trampled on the middle class and the poor. He raised VAT, sold Nigeria's core refinery and supervised one of the craziest heist in the power sector known as NIPSS. Some in his defense will say he brought GSM but has GSM raised millions of Nigerians out the trap of poverty? No. The same OBJ, in whom we thought we could see a father entrenched the "do or die" style of politics and used it to bring in Yar'Adua and GEJ. The election was massively rigged despite you all getting your voters card. Yar'Adua died, GEJ contested for the presidency. GEJ told you all that he didn't have shoes and in him you saw the deliverer of Nigeria. You all trooped out like nama to vote for GEJ. You all were shouting get your voter's card as you are shouting now. GEJ won, Nigeria made billions from crude oil sales and all the money vanished into thin air. GEJ's presidency was a free for all looting spree. Everyone that knew someone that had a connection with someone that occupied a position of power in GEJ's regime looted. The looteratti continued until the crude oil prices plummeted and the underbelly of the beastly regime of GEJ was exposed. Even Okonjo Wahala could not contain the wahala that the looteratti were bringing her way. Buhari came as the replacement for GEJ. The no nonsense general who we thought would straighten out Nigeria. Again Nigerian citizens like mindless robots trooped out to vote in Buhari, with chants of "sai baba", and chants of "change". Now the change is here. No electricity, no energy self sufficiency, no solid foreign reserves, poor quality of life, no security, chronic import dependence, insurgency, etc. Now you fools are at it again, shouting for people to go get their PVC. Your PVC cannot change anything. Peter Obi cannot save you. Peter Obi is one man. Atiku will further atikulate the treasury as he has no plans for the poor. Tinubu will entomb Nigeria as he did Lagos. You guys should wake up. Your power is in the mobilization of likeminded people. The EndSARS protest was a testament to what Nigerians could accomplish by mobilising like minded people towards achieving a common goal. If we band together again, this time not to fight the police but to govern ourselves, ensure security by ourselves, fix infrastructure by ourselves etc we will render the government useless and with one master stroke we can unseat the government and entrench a true republic. Your salvation is not in a PVC. Your salvation is in working together with your neighbor. One will chase a thousand, two will chase ten thousand.
You spoke well
But how does capitalism thrive when they are still affected by government policies. Buhari showed us that clearly.
We know we've made mistake in the past, but that's what great people do, mistake marks the path of greatness. No nation gets it right the first time. We voted these previous people with emotions not logic, if you don't want Peter obi who at least has shown concern for the younger generation, is it atiku or osinbajo you want. If Peter obi wins, it's not only going to be about whether he enacts changes or not. It will be more about the fact that the youths wanted a particular candidate and even without being part of the ruling party, he still won the election, that's what matters. I can earn in dollar in Nigeria, but insecurity won't let me enjoy my money. Government policies still affect you one way or the other

I think it depends on the individual. I study medicine so I decided to venture into new challenging grounds, and I've been studying JavaScript for some weeks now, and seriously its not difficult. My idea of having gone through medical school makes me feel nothing can more difficult and truthfully it's been really smooth for me sha. So it depends on the individual, your ability to learn fast and discipline too. And please, it's tasky but not impossible!! Don't lose the battle before you even start it. Good luck

With th war between Russia and Ukraine, the production of wheat has reduced greatly within Europe. However, an International organisation is looking for major farmers in the grain crop, so as to partner with them by purchasing in very large quantity. So, if you're a dealer or you have contacts of dealers, pls, respond with price tags per kilo. I'd message you. Thanks

ProgrammingRe: I'm About To Start Applying For Remote Jobs. Any Tips? by jansonn(m): 2:13pm On Apr 26, 2022
DrLevi:
Don't let all you focus be on a "remote" job. Remote which I feel translates to "foreign".

Just get a job, any job.

The experience of having previous work would help you land a foreign one faster than going from a nothing to a $$$$ role. Sure, it can happen but let's not kid ourselves here, the local marketplace is a more pleasant place than the international one, you don't want to know what competition is out there.
You also would already have learnt some basic concepts like how to smash interviews, to negotiate compensation etc. Fidgeting about when the opportunity of a foreign job presents itself would only hurt you as you would be learning from opportunities you're suppose to be smashing.

So apply for all jobs, local and foreign and take what feels right, build your skill, learn some more and set yourself up for bigger opportunities.
Just because "remote" is a popular word out there and should be your focus doesn't mean it is that easy to come by.

Personal advice though.
1. You're more likely to get that role if you ask for a lot more than you actually hope to be paid.
2. Sell yourself, but never oversell yourself. If you need more practice, then take time and get more practice. Trust me, you don't want to be incompetent while on a deadline and a scrum master on your neck on the status of a ticket. You would hate yourself.
3. Build actual products, not typical Todos and calculators. Make your portfolio website sometime unique and filled with unique projects.
4. Conversational skills is everything. A little joke here and there but an air of professionalism and a clear cut show of knowledge(you know your stuff) can help you more than your portfolio can. One thing you want to do is win the heart of the employer by also the team. If your team doesn't like you, e don be for you.

Wishing you luck out there.

Stop learning via u-tube.

Instead start attempting small, small code challenges.

Build 5 line to 10 line codes.

Eg. Age calculator. Any thing that involves calculations.

Use u-tube when you don learn.

The bosses will give u a better advice, I am just opening the floor for dem.
Ok man, thanks alot

The best way to learn js (or any programming language) is to build projects with what you've learnt...One of the mistakes I made back then was digging through resources (from textbooks to videos), learning syntaxes and terminologies without building, thinking I've known it all...Just for me to realize I indeed Knew nothing...Then to help my situation, I started building small projects with what I've learnt..I started with a Florin Pop's video on youtube (build 10 js projects in 10 hours)...I coded along...built all 10 projects, even though the whole process was quite tedious...But did it help?? It really did!!! Because right now, I can build most js projects (from junior to intermediary) in few minutes...and I mean very few minutes!!! so learn basics, build many projects and be sure to know how each code you write functions...peace!!
Alright!! Thanks alot man

Its a painful thing bro but don't give up. I'm actually in same state, was first in an unaccredited med school, spent 3 years then left and started again in another one. Suppose to graduate this year and ASUU has delayed me so much that I don't know when I'd graduate again. I've been busy with tech though (front end dev.) So, pls don't give up. You can start the tech now, anytime they call you guys go and collect your MBBS. You've worked for it so you deserve it. Nigeria is a really frustrating oo, I just pray God gives us the strength to push on and possibly travel abroad some day
