Education / Re: What Happened To The Top Scoring Student In Your School? by jantavanta(m): 8:44am On Jun 02, 2017 |
It took me some time to realize that being a Top-scorer in class sometimes limits one to what is written in a book and given in a class to learn. Unfortunately, not everything is written for one to learn in a class. Some things are deliberately hidden to make one a robot top-scorer. Let the world be your classroom (quoting a Nigerian VC). Some top-scorers were unfortunate to have their education deliberately truncated by their classmates or family members, that is if they are still alive. Some were told: "Come to my this/that", and they became bottom-scorers. Those of us who survived should try to give back to a society full of people who have one story or the other to tell about the imperfect educational system. 2 Likes 1 Share |

agitator: I appreciate your explanation. I am learning more from you about how govt should support our car industry. I mentioned the Prof, because back then I got some opinions that NITDA did not achieve its goal. The explanation given to me was that the ICT developmental needs of Japan was different from that of Nigeria. I do not know if that explanation would also apply to Cars. I will still communicate later on. |

Gypsies are nomadic people of Europe, who have spread from Eastern Europe to Western Europe. Some have suggested that Gypsies are from India. That was the same argument for the Native, Aboriginal or Indigenous Americans, who were called "Indians". Even Indians of India migrated out of Africa over 50,000 years ago. There was a time Africa had Black people with naturally straight hair. It is not only White people that can have straight hair. White People are a sub-race of black people. Black People can have every body characteristic that White People have. http://www.spraguephoto.com/stock-photos/04bg109-Romas-of-Karlova.%7C9830.jpg |

Webmasters / Re: Chinese Version Of Twitter "Weibo" Has More Traffic Than The Original Twitter So by jantavanta(m): 10:54am On May 24, 2017 |
Chinese Gods are in their own image, unlike Nigeria that prefers imported Gods, and therefore has to import most of its Goods and Services. It is not possible to register a child as "John" or "Aisha", because they are not Chinese names and the child will be regarded as an agent for domination by foreign powers. That is preservation of Cultural Independence. Do they pack themselves in Churches and Mosques the way we do? Seek ye the Kingdom of Cultural Independence and Knowledge Economy shall be yours. Are Nigerians ready for this? No, they will rather ask for the mirage called Technology Transfer. Technology is a culture, which nobody transfers. Margaret Thatcher of UK made this clear to our then President. |

The Gypsies of Europe have a mixed heritage from the time when White People migrated into Eastern Europe from Central Asia. The United Nations Statistics Division defines Eastern Europe as: Belarus. Bulgaria. Czech Republic. Hungary. Moldova. Poland. Romania. Russia. Ukraine. Gypsies are part indigenous Black Europeans mixed with settler White People. But you will not see this on television: Anywhere in the World where White People settle among Black People, the indigenous Black People will be marginalised to gradual virtual/complete extinction; be it Americas, Europe or Asia. Speaking to my fellow Nigerians, our Secondary School Geography/History teachers could not teach us this, because their textbooks were written by Colonial Masters, to alter our self-perception in preparation for Neo-colonialism. If we want to re-introduce History in Schools, which History will be taught? Our Story or His Story? |

Not surprising. Due to better health care and higher standard of living, the average age for Western European women is higher than our own. That is why they need immigrants within the workforce age, and sometimes..... young Nigerian guys as husbands! 1 Like |

Business / Re: Dangote Begins Installation Of Oil Refinery Equipment by jantavanta(m): 11:43am On Apr 20, 2017 |
kjhova: Diesel is used by lorries and heavy duty generators. Premium Motor Spirit(PMS) which is popularly called "fuel" is what most cars and smaller generators use. The subsidy scam involved importers of PMS and not diesel, because subsidy was paid for only PMS. No subsidy was paid for diesel. 1 Like |
