Don't use your situation to think others are passing through the same thing u are going through. In fact, the problem with most Nigerians is that,during courtships,most intending couples don't discuss matters that are of concern to their future.

They often don't prepare for the future and that is why,many are in dire need of financial and moral uplifting in their marriage.

In China,an average Chinese don't ever talk about marriage except they are able to acquire an apartment where he and his wife would live,but here in Nigeria,immediately a guy makes 5million naira he runs to marry and spend virtually all that he had acquired just to impress everyone.

That is why u see most marriage crashing on a daily basis.

Another reason is,most men marry liabilities and come back to regret ever making that mistake. I am not perfect,but I remembered asking my wife her financial role if we get married and what we would be investing our money into as time goes on. I also remembered,she once told me,that she would like me to take charge of whatever investment we shall be putting our money in since I was more versed in investment than her.

We discuss a lot that i can't say here.

Many intended couples invest so much time in preparing for wedding than preparing for marriage and the future ahead.

Lastly, before u prepare for marriage,sit down with ur wife to be,discuss money matters with her,don't marry a man or a woman who has no job,no hand work or education. If his or her parents are not rich,pls be careful. Some may be lucky while others may not be.

Note: many homes are enjoying their marriages and I am one of them,with this I think I have made my points

Back in the days, I stayed in a compound, it was a two seperate buildings,

One of the buildings (first building) had a gate to protect its tenants

Second building(where I stayed), it was not fenced, it was an open compound, meaning someone not living in the compound could enter.

So I woke up early in the morning to go and urinate with sleep in my eyes, as I was about to enter the toilet, I saw something that looks like a person, then as I came close I saw it was a man in our toilet.

I tried to talk to him and ask him, what was he doing in our toilet, i could not talk, the man was just hiding his face from me and ran out of the toilet.

As he ran out, I pursued him, still trying to talk to him, but i could not talk or shout, then he ran fast, then I left him, when all this happened I was still feeling sleepy.

Throughout that week, to use the toilet come dey fear me

I’m working on setting up a structure for the business, I want to see if it’s possible to run it without my physical presence and not be robbed blind. This country is ghetto, the relocation is mostly for the sake of my children (the deserve more than this contraption has to offer) but at the same time, I want to be careful so I don’t end up with regrets.


And for people asking about the nature of the business, it is simply buying and selling. I buy from Lagos market and sell online. You just have to be consistent, take good pictures of the items, invest in learning how to run sponsored adverts properly and set a good budget for the ads. You spend money to make money, grease Zuckerberg’s palm well and watch him do wonders for you. I didn’t learn all these overnight too, I tried other businesses and struggled before this became a success in less than 2 years. I know ladies making 10m, 20m, 30m on instagram almost every month from selling bags, hair and clothes generally. E.g finefunky (not sure I got the spelling right), everythingfashionitem1, laydee Lara, magmimibagdeals etc these are all ladies in their 30s. There is a lot of money flying around on social media, you just have to find your own approach to get a piece of the cake.
