PassingShot: A lovely reminder.
Many of us fall into these without knowing that we're committing great sins in the sight of Allah.
May Allah purify our souls and make us among the patient and humble ones.
Jazakallah Khayran for this beautiful admonition. Salaam bro. Didn't know you're a muslim |

Basic Salary Bros Bros, stop this. Take correction from the guy. Chevron doesn't pay less than 800k per month. 200k salary is not big salary. Please don't mention 200k and Chevron in same sentence. Even a tier-3 company pays that. I can list 50 companies whose entry level salary is more than 200k. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Top Salaries In Nigeria: Best Paying Companies by Jarus(m): 7:32am On May 06, 2015 |
Goodkidd: As far as am concerned a company with 3mill perannuum should not make that list. I currently earn in the range of 6m per annum but my colleagues still complain of being cash strapped. I work in a consulting firm
Let me quickly add this. If u want a good job then graduate with a 2.1. A 2.1 stops u from competing with the best in interviews. Most of the best brains who can sweep an interviewer off their feet have 2.2 and 3rd class. U would escape them by making a 2.1 LOL. I like your theory. Hearing that theory for the first time. |
Car Talk › Re: Graphic Pics: Passengers In Danfo Bus Badly Burnt After Fuel Stored Exploded by Jarus(m): 10:30pm On May 05, 2015 |
sammily: Passengers in a commercial bus were badly burnt this afternoon when the fuel stored in a keg at the back of the vehicle exploded due to heat. The danfo bus caught fire after it turned at Chevron Roundabout in Lekki, Lagos. Immediately the bus caught fire, passengers in the vehicle started struggling out of the bus but the ones at the back weren't so lucky as they were badly burnt in the explosion. This is so sad! People storing fuel in their vehicles due to fuel scarcity. The photos are graphic. Continue to see them...
http://lindaikeji..com/2015/05/graphic-pics-passengers-in-commercial.html Oh my God, this is my route. And I have entered danfo on same route very early this morning. These drivers are play with safety. |

Shakes my head at numbers being thrown around here.
As far back as 8 years ago, entry level salary in Shell was roughly N7m (minus bonus), and Shell is not among the Top 5 paying companies in Nigeria.

This looks more like a planted news or sensationalism-driven report than professional investigative report.
I'm particularly surprised the report named Fayemi as Buhari's Director of Media and Publicity.
That said, I hope this is not true. Fashola has great role to play for GMB government. |

Good tips, especially on not making it a habit to be coming late to work.
However, within my immediate work environment, colleagues and superiors chew gums and even it is even common to see one asking for gums among each other. No one has any issue with that.
Outside our immediate department, may nnot be good. |

Taylor86: ThankGod man is not God, and d lord gives mercy and sickness according to our account balances and sizes
very rare to see d poor or moderate man complain of cancer and other diseases meant for d rich
d bigger ur wealth, the bigger ur sickness/disease allocation Not exactly. Poor men die of cancer. You won't know because most don't have the money to diagnose it. You will just hear they are sick and died. You only hear of cause of death when the person is a famous person. |
