The irony is that these first class and 2.1 graduates are the most unemployed set of graduates in Nigeria.
Most of them believe their grades must give them automatic jobs so they keep looking for jobs.

Its difficult to see 2.2 and Third class graduate looking for jobs since they know the employers mentality.
They simply create their own jobs.

I have never met an unemployed First Class (after at least 6 months post-NYSC)

We have been receiving emails from some of the candidates we prepared that scaled through. We hope to get more feedback.

To those who didn't, that's not the end of life. Shortly after we graduated in 2006 and doing tests/interview, a close friend got rejected by Vetiva (an investment firm) and got Shell few months later. He's still with Shell today.

Nairalanders come and rejoice with me, i just received my employment letter after years of searching for a good job. Surviving all thr stages including the medicals wey my blood pressure high like something else. I cant even count the number of jobs(Fed & Private) i've applied for and regret mails that followed but today God has done it.

My Basic salary and allowances are cool and the organization(Non-bank financial institution) encourages career growth and development. Although the vacancy wasn't posted on nairaland but nairalanders, especially you all in jobs/vacancies section are all great, filled with an undying spirit, always ready to try again, to encourage others and be of help to one another. Keep up the good work guys and to all the unemployed nairalanders, i wanna say, God is alive, trust him, never give up, your time will come someday, just prepare.

I bless the name of the Lord for my days of job hunt are over. I'm officially going to stop visiting job sites. Bye bye to job section in nairaland. Porting to Romanceland.lol....

My career consulting firm, JarusHub Consulting, is organizing Mock Assessment Center for the forthcoming NLNG Assessment Center.

We did similar thing for Oando Assessment that is just ending. We have also done for other companies like NNPC, PwC and KPMG

It essentially involves practicing everything you will be required to do at the live assessment center. You get opportunity to do analytical presentation, case study and group task as if you're in the real center.

You get opportunity to meet and work with others who may end up being in same group with you on the assessment day, which will raise your confidence.

Areas that you need to improve on will also be shared with you after the mock sessions.

The Chief Coach is an experienced oil and gas person with more than 7 years experience in Nigeria's oil and gas industry.

Why do ladies often abuse, name-call or even curse a guy after a call?

It's a common act amongst ladies that they call suitors several kind of name after a call which I find very appalling.

I was at the motor park yesterday afternoon when a lady (she's not so beautiful ooo) received a call, she turned to her friend immediately after the call and said 'oloriburuku yen lo tun pemi yen ooo (that unfortunate guy called again)'. They didn't stop there, they both started calling and describing that guy with several names...

...and it something I have noticed about ladies overtime.

I hope one lady will have the audacity to tell us the rational behind this act.

I use to know one lady in one office. She was the ugliest in that office, and she was always talking about one guy or the other toasting her, as if other girls in the office don't get toasters too.

We saw through her actions: to let us know her life wasn't miserable because she's not beautiful.
