See the man that wants to deliver Niger to GEJ.

If he had defected with other G5 governors, he could have gotten APC senatorial ticket and won, like Kwankwaso and Wammako.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Winning Kano As More Results Emerge by Jarus(m): 10:06pm On Mar 29, 2015
Kano has 44 LGS. With average of of 30k per LG, that's about 1.32m. GEJ has an average of 4k per LG. That's about 176k.

1.2m gap is a good gap.

http://dailytrust.com.ng/weekly/index.php/nigeriavotes/93-kano/19626-buhari-leads-as-inec-commences-announcement-of-results-in-kano
That's roughly 90% to 10% in favour of APC.

PDP have more than the required 25% votes in Ogun State unlike Buhari who scored zilch in the released results of Ekiti.

Buhari would never make the required 25% across Nigeria.
Buhari got 40% in Ekiti under Fayose's nose. It's 176k to 123k.

PoliticsRe: Buhari might not Win The Just Concluded Elections - Unbiased Analysis by Jarus(m): 3:05pm On Mar 29, 2015
tempest01:
There are two conditions to win according to the constitution.

1. Get the most votes in the elections
2. Get 25% of the votes in at least 2/3 states (which i have interpreted to be 24 states) including the FCT.

Lets say Buhari has the most number of votes........Lets analyze

From the results coming in, both candidates have surpassed the 25% mark in the FCT, so it wont be added in the permutation.
From clause 2, If the candidate with the highest vote fails to achieve 25% in twelve (12) states, he loses.

States Buhari might not meet clause 2 in

1. Imo 2. Abia 3. Anambra 4. Ebonyi 5. Rivers 6. Bayelsa 7. Delta 8. Enugu 9.Cross Rivers 10. Akwaibom 11. Edo

Losing out one more state, calls for a re-run.

Disclamer: INEC is yet to declare any official results. All data represented here and permutations done here are strictly my views, use the information at your own risk. Opinions are welcome.

http://9jastates.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=16&p=28#p28
First, assuming he doesn't get 25% in these states, not getting same in one more state still means he will have 25/37. That's still more than 2/3rd.

In any case, there is no state left that he won't get 25% and pls take out Edo, he got more than 25% there already.

40% in Ekiti is good result. Fayose boasted APC won't get 25%.

The difference in absolute figure is 50k. We will recover that in Osun.

That was PG hall, OAU campus. Yes, it is in FFK's LG, but that is just one polling unit out of like 50 that is in a LG, it doesn't invalidate FFK's claim. You can lose a PU and still win you LG.

PoliticsRe: Lagos; APC Leads In All LGA Except 3 (NOT Confirmed) by Jarus(m): 6:59am On Mar 29, 2015
Afam4eva:
Buhari did not campaign in those places in 2011 except one state where he showed up. He was head strong then and probably the though the votes from the North could make him president. Jonathan won 25% because he campaigned massively in the north. it has nothing to do with being politically liberal.
I don't think it was a matter of strong-headedness. I think they had to 'ration' states they campaigned in due to lack of resources of a struggling party, CPC.

GEJ's 25% in the North can mainly be attributed to PDP's structure. PDP is a strong party that has loyal members in the north irrespective of candidate. But a bigger reason is that most northern governors were PDP then and worked vigorously for GEJ as they also needed re-election. A good number of them have now moved to APC while many of those inPDP are aggrieved and are at best inddiferent to GEJ's reelection in 2015. Only very few of them like DanKwambo of Gombe, Aliyu of Niger and Lamido of Jigawa are truly working for GEJ

Why are people coming at the Igbos for voting Jonathan. As much as i've never been happy with the way Jonathan is perceived as the best thing after isi-ewu by Igbos, i don't think it's anyone's business who they vote for. They have been accused of tribalism and you ask yourself, is Jonathan Igbo? Can merely changing one's one's name to an Igbo one curry such favour? Why is no one talking about the fact that majority of Northers and Muslims are voting Buhari? Why is it that Buhari is the default candidate for any Northerner i see? You should be even be happy that a handfull of Igbo guys on here have supported Buhari going against the backlash from their fellow Igbos. Abeg, you guys should cast your vote and park well.

Btw, i'll prefer a Buhari to a Jonathan anyday but i'm indifferent.
Fair enough.

And I'm curious to know how you turned to be indifferent when you were GEJ's number one supporter just last year. I remember your pro-GEJ threads.

Results sheets were not available on many places in ss se. Most results weren't counted at the polling unit neither was results countersigned by party agents pasted as required by the law and that explains why u hardly see anyone stating publicly the results of their individual polling units as against what is applicable in other regions. Rivers, akwa ibom, Imo are particularly pathetic.
The only consolation is they still can't exceed their registered voters.
I just hope we will have enough gap in NW and NE to make up for the miracle "turn-out" and handwritten results that region will declare tomorrow.

The way jonathan divided this country now is sickening! Buhari has got a lot of work to do!

For the first time in my life, I felt very ashamed to be a Nigerian! Could you imagine that, in my polling booth, All Yorubas Voted for the APC, while all the Igbos voted for PDP! Even though Buhari won in my Unit, I was very upset in the voting pattern

Buhari really got work to do, when it takes over in May!
Same at my PU

In fact, Igbos cornered a PU and PDP won 102-97; in the other three where Yorubas majorly voted, APC won (74-49; 62-47), didn't wait for the counting of the 4th PU but APC was heading for victory there too.

Stop lying. from the results from PUs so far, PDP has not wona single PU in Kwara. From my parents unit, it's 300-50 in favour of APC. Similar results across the state. From the look of things, GEJ will struggle to get 25% in Kwara

Card readers were apparently failing often at a polling booth near an Accenture staff's home. And the guy couldn't understand why...cos the readers were all new. So he approached the INEC woman. Inspected the reader. Only to find the protective film on the lense of the reader had not been removed. After a protracted argument he convinced the woman to remove it. The reader not only read the prior rejected cards, it was reading with even faster response time. Please share n let's reclaim Naija together. Mods do the needful
This is solution only to where non-removal of the film is the issue.
