Okija juju: Na bad belle Ghana people hand work be this... angry

No need for panic! Mikel and Oduamadi both play for international clubs that check players health and blood every now and again.
If FIFA is really serious about finding dopers, make them test the Ghana team. Especially the local boys in the team. angry

***Singing 20 men shall fall again, if you cross my lane o weee.. ***
Ignorance.

Kolo Toure that failed dope test last doesnt play for international club?

tainot2002: My memory can't still get off Yobo when he Hold on the Nations Cup Trophy while failing to let others celebrate with the cup for couple of minutes! He is a very good and patriotic player we have in the team but shouldn't allow ego superceed his leadership position
As captain, he was expected to hold the cup more than any other player. He hasn't done anything wrong. Let's stop being petty.

If he had ego, he would have fought coaches when he was benched for ANC matches. If it was Osaze he would not have taken it in good faith like Yobo and IK Uche did.

Politics › Re: Wamakko Governor Of Sokoto Suspended By PDP by Jarus(m): 10:19pm On Jun 05, 2013
I'm surprised PDP are just suspending Sokoto Governor Wammako. The man has actually never been in PDP in spirit. He was brought from ANPP in 2007. He is just there for federal advantage, never loyal to the party. I have always seen him as a-PDP. It should be recalled that he was the only PDP governor tha stood by zoning till the end.

dahdah: Yobohuh They don't need Yobo, what do they need him for, He lacks the leadership ability and he showed that in the first two games in Last Nations Cup.. He has done enough for the eagles, Thank you Yobo at the same time Goodbye Yobo
What happens when Oboabona and/or Omeruo gets injured? No replacement.

We still need Yobo, even if not starting.

We don't need Osaze. He will bring friction/rancour to the team, by fighting coaches.

I agree with Udoh's 5 points. Musa is poor in crossing, we are also underestimating Mikel's impact.
Sports › Re: Mikel & Oduamadi Picked For FIFA Doping Test by Jarus(m): 9:59pm On Jun 05, 2013
A player is always picked for doping test after every match. Usually at random, but most times energetic players in a match are selected.

Martins used to be the player selected for test after Inter matches then.

Politics › Re: Maryam Yaro (Sanusi's Alleged Girlfriend) Is A CBN Consultant by Jarus(m): 12:29pm On Jun 04, 2013
Kx: “Dr. Yaro was hired after a rigorous selection process conducted by the NIRSAL Project Implementation Office. This clearly contradicts the claim that Dr. Yaro was brought in by the CBN Governor.
She was one of four consultants (three of whom were male), hired by the Nigeria Incentive-based Risk-sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL) Plc; on a one year contract,

Na wao.
The refutal did nt help matters at all.
Whether she is/was a consultant or a staff, this clearly shows that she had some job to do for and with the CBN at the time in question.

We can as well say a contract staff is not a staff becos he or she is not a permanent staff.
Premium times may just be right after all.
But she cannot be an Assistant Director without being staff.

CFCfan: Peeps, how do u think the SE will perform against Spain in d Confed cup?
The same Spain (catalunya) we drew with at home last year or was it early this year?

Well, if we will lose, it will be narrow. 1-0, 2-1.

I don't see a white-wash. Recall, people said same thing before Nigeria-Argentina opener in SA 2010, when people said SE would come home with basket of goals from Messi and co?

Also, Keshi has not lost a competitive match since his appointment.

Afam4eva: I didn't say it was a loss but they lost out of the world cup. We should have taken the maximun 3 points against kenya in Calabar. This our fire brigade approach to issues is annoying.
I agree. That 2-point loss in Calabar may be our undoing. But at least, we still have our destiny in our hands (still leading the group), so winning the next 2 matches will be enough.

Afam4eva: They did against Angola in the Germany 2006 world cup qualifiers.

I don't think we need a draw. We must win.
It wasnt do-or-die tey when they lost 1-0 to Angola in Luanda.

The return leg in Kano was draw, not loss. And they won the next two matches with 5 goals each in Harare and Casablanca. But it was too late as Angola also won theirs. Yet Eagles had everything (same point, more goals, more goal difference) more than Angola, but lost out on head to head rule. That was teh last time I almost wept for Nigerian national team (October 2005).

breezy047: This is DO or DIE. . .

A Super Eagle never loses when it becomes a do or die affair. cheesy

We win!!
Or at worst. . .we draw! cheesy
I agree. Eagles ahrdly lose when they are in do-or-die. The undoing usually come from accummulated past performance and when their destiny is no longer in their hands.

In 2005, 2006 WC qualifiers, Eagles needed to win last matches. They scored 5 goals each against Zimbabwe and Morocco, the latter at home. But it was too much too late. The draw they played against Angola in Kano earlier had slipped their destiny out of their hands.

I see draw as worst outcome tomorrow.

eGuerrilla: @Jarus,

It is rather disappointing that you side-stepped the more serious allegations of nepotism, within a meritorious organisation like the CBN, to focus on the inconsequential peccadilloes of SLS.
Did you see this?

Although 95% of public officers in Nigeria will fail the women test, I'm disappointed in this case, not because i didn't expect him not to have girlfriends (better for him if he doesn't though, as a Muslim) but the brazenness, the carelessness, allowing such very personal thing to interfere in his work (recruiting the lady), all to contrary to public posture.

Gboliwe: I have always respected you. The respect just trippled now. Smart people work by principles and not emotions. Many with your relationship with this man who by the way I am indifferent towards, would have blindly supported his actions. Well done.

Lamido's major sin if we are to grade sin, like I said before isnt the adultery but the due process he refused to follow. The brazen hypocrisy in his character and reputation.

It stinks.

Now, do I believe PT's story? Unfortunately, I do. At least, until I have stronger evidence to the contrary.

Am I disappointed? Very.

Does it reduce my respect for SLS a brilliant, fearless, straight-shooting( no pun intended), guy? No.

Does the revelation affect my past avowal for him as highly disciplined? Still yes, except for women.

I'm also concerned about his reported penchance for chartering jets at will, even for personal stuffs like this. For someone who is vocal against public waste, this is a low.

On a religious level, for someone who will likely become the emir of Kano in the future (arguably 2nd face of Islam in Nigeria, after Sultan) and someone well knowledgeable in Sharia, this is disturbing. But that is still personal. Not much of my headache.
