What about Busybody? i mean the old busybody until she was banned? undecided

one more thing, is your list influenced by the date of registration or how? undecided
Busybody? Very popular and I know her quite well. But is she still around under another ID or has she gone, so as to know the category to put her? Either case, she is a legend.

good to meet u too, i have been following u and Jarus for some time now and must confess u guys are very impressive. reason i asked for your mail sometime ago. nway u guys are doing a good job educating peeps bout IB.
I just had a brief, though very exposing, stint in investment banking. I'm now in oyel and gas.
I don't think I can go back to IB, the stress is too much, as I'm now used to this O&G thing. I'm even pushing for a more stress-free one like solid govt agency(CBN, DMO etc).  grin  ise die, owo pupo l'emi tasi o grin

Is MrCrackles a legend?
This is another personality I'm considering but not too sure.
Popularity, he has it. Post count, he has that in abundance? Consistency, he is there?
But are these enough?

What do you think?

Jarus,u must also find a way to get Mama-gee in2 your list, even if she eventually doesnt make it 2d end.
Legends do their works normally, naturally and find themselves being noticed as one. Mamagee's activities on NL appear to me as more of deliberate attempt at forcing oneself into popularity. Or how can one explain opening thread, asking for the most popular Nairalander and putting your name in the poll? Not legendary, to me.
I'll rather have a Becomrich as legend.

Yeah, I'm being cautious. That's why it may take a week or more to have full list.
Even if we have strong, convincing voice against anybody already on list, it will be reviewed and possibly removed.

Atedo Peterside is still the chairman of Stanbic IBTC Plc, correct me if i'm wrong. I think he's still very much active in the scene. And besides, with newbranches currently springing up all around Lagos (many are still under construction), i think the bank doesn't intend to sit on the fence in terms of commercial banking (personal & business banking) but of course we know their strong points still remain investment banking and wealth/asset management. They are the only bank among the 24 or so banks that is a Pension Fund Administrator (PFA).
Yes, he is still the Chairman of StanbicIBTC, but that's a non-executive position.

[s]Had very brief discussion with him inside elevator yesterday[/s]

Yoruba Pips dey hate on this guy wella, Chill for the homie now, If you watched the match yesterday, you would have noted that he was the only exceptional player in a Chelsea jersey, only over shadowed by Schneider,He had over 78 accurate passes while Ballack managed only 17, Give the guy a break i guess if his name was Ajayi Oluwasegun,we would be saying something different here. No be fight,oh, Just my opinion lipsrsealed grin
Tribalism of Politics section is gradually being exported here, abi. What has tribe got to do with it.
Are Kanu and JJ not Ibo like Mikel? Are they not two of the most praised Nigerian players, irrespective of etnic group.
Is Olofinjana not a Yoruba? Mikel has not received half of teh bashings Olofinjana receives here.
You need to grow, dude!
Sports › Re: Is John Mikel Obi Superb Or Simply Overrated? by Jarus(m): 12:42pm On Mar 17, 2010
He is an average player. He would have been treated as such if he had not started on a highly promising note that put high expectations on him, which unfortunately he has not been able to live up to.

Is Becomrich a legend?
I don't know whether this guy can be regarded as a legend or not. He is one strange character that makes you laugh your ass off in politics section. He has been there since I think 2007. I want to ignore him, but finding it difficult.

Wont his inclusion ridicule my list?

I need your comments

DK, TKB and Sleek,
Thanks for your input. Some of them are being reviewed already.
Ibime and Ajanlekoko are sure candidates for 'Emerging Legends' category.
As for the Ife/Texas, I know him too well, I was already considering him. Loma.

Most of the names you guys suggested were on already on 'likely' list.

@ Poster. .These are the nL Legends to You bah.
Yes, to me, not official.
And just as we ahve magazines giving so so person of the year etc and some widely quoted and universally recognized, this could also be recognized, especially if many people agree with it.
