That competition is bigger than la liga and copa del rey.

UCL is so big that a UCL finalist is a bigger achievement than domestic medals.

Anybody can get domestic medals.

No. All 3 could not have come from WC performance.

I have similar travel history with you. I also applied for UK visa about 3 weeks to travel date last year, but from the advice of folks here, I did fast track (paid extra) and I picked my visa on the 13th working day after application.

I applied on 30 Sept 2017, to travel 20th October. Picked my passport on 17th or 18th October.
