Christian36: No matter how strong a nation is, sanction can bring the economy down, remember that no man can leave in inland alone. You are saying this just because you are not living in that country. This is a simple logic, when you spend more than your income, then get ready to be drag on the mud. Russia major income comes from the oil and gas they supply their fellow european countries, now that tie has been cut, things will not remain thesame, they might be doing as if things are well, deep down their minds they are feeling the heat. The war is talking more of their income which made them not to meet up with their soldiers demand, in kahkiv Ukraine one of the liberated territory by Ukraine soldiers, the Russian soldiers abandon their duty posts and flew, am sure there is more to that. Did Russia ever say it is an "island " now ? Are the Russians not selling their oil to countries in Asia...? The energy crisis in Europe has shown that Russia can call the bluff of any sanction off. As for meeting up with the salaries of soldiers, do not be deceived. That is just western propaganda and you will see how it back fires in the coming weeks |

NairaMaster1: You're not an economist. So, strong ruble means strong economy? Do you know that the dollar has gained more against other world currency? Is the ruble climbing the dollar, Euro and pound sterling? Sentiment will not allow you analyse things well. Did Russia ever think the war will take them this long? Are you aware Russia has exhausted their small missiles and are ordering from NK? Very soon the invasion will be one year. Russia never prepared for that. They thought they will take Ukraine in a week or less. Watch out. You are still learning oga but let me break it down with an example : China's economy is larger than that of US (fact) , yet the Yuan is lower in value. Why ? The answer is simply because goods in the International market are bought in the dollar equivalent. But when a country refuses buying and dealing in dollars , their own local currency naturally appreciates in value . This is the same strategy that Russia now uses since the so called economic "sanctions " came to play . As it stands now, Russia is now selling her oil in Rubles, thus making it appreciate in value on the International market . As for the war, Russia is fighting a conventional war because they specifically made it clear from the onset that they would only attack targets that were strategically threats to Russian interests. If they were to go with biological and nuclear weapons, Ukraine would have gone into extinction two days after Putin invaded |

Russia that has now turned Ukraine to a no-fly zone is who you are saying is losing militarily? Is it not the same Russia that has struck Europe with a serious energy crisis that threatens to disgrace every European economy...? Oga, stop to dey watch CNN and BBC |

NairaMaster1: Russia economy is growing? How? So you're are not aware that their oil export has reduced by half? Eyaaa! No wonder the ignorance of Nigeria youths. And this one probably has a degree of HND Baba, I have two undergraduate degrees . One from a Nigerian university and the other from an American Ivy league school, so zip it when I am talking. Secondly, Russia's oil export dropped because the Russians closed off the bulk of their supply to Europe. This left many European nations in an energy crisis that now threatens to hit them with far worse ecomomic implications than the so called "sanctions " they thought would bend Russia As we speak, Vladimir Putin knows Russia's oil is in high demand internationally(the energy crisis in Europe revealed that )and he has now turned to selling his oil to who ever will buy it in his own currency and at his own terms . And guess what ? He is currently selling crude oil in Rubles to a lot of countries in Asia willing to buy . So kindly take your delusions of Russia's failing economically to the gutters where you crawled out from. Lastly, do yourself a favor and stop watching western propaganda news outlets. They will only hurt and mislead your view on reality |

Oga, sanctions to Russia is nothing : the more you sanction that particular country the more trouble you are compounding for yourself. If you doubt this , just go and ask European nations who will freeze to death this winter if Russia's refuses to sell gas |

Christian36: You should ask yourself that question, what mr Op post is the fact. I watched Ajazera this morning and the truth is that Russian soldiers have loss part of the places they took back then to Ukraine. The way it stands now, they will lose more because most of this world power countries are doing under ground job in order to assist Ukraine. Remember that Russian are spending billions of dollars just to keep the war going which will soon start telling on their economy. The way things are going, this war might cause Putin downfall and again it has exposed their weakness to countries like USA. What you are a saying is just wishful thinking that does not even reflect half of what is going on |

Osariemen12: Respect man. I'm a keen follower of that military operation and I can tell you that Russia has decimated Ukraine. The purpose of the operation is almost achieved. If Russia is weak as some people are postulating, NATO would've joined the war. God bless mother Russia. Ukrainians were unwise in taking America's offer to join NATO and now their country is left in ruins. Now a lot of people keep saying "Putin will be brought to book for war crimes committed in Ukraine ". But I verily I say, nothing, I repeat , nothing will happen . And if care is not taken, Russia will annex Ukraine before December |

Osariemen12: What do you mean, sir? Oga, let no one deceive you: Russia is winning the war in Ukraine and there is nothing the US or her allies can do about it. The economic sanctions set by the US and her unwise allies only wounded many European countries and left them in a series of energy crisis that promises to ridicule every fiber in the economies of those European nations . Further more the Ruble has been strengthened, and that is because Russia now sells her oil in Rubles . As we speak, the Russian economy is growing ; the demand for Russian oil for energy will always be there ; which only makes the Russian economy grow irrespective of whatever sanctions the west imposes. |

So, Russians are selling their oil at an extremely cheap rate to india who in turn sell to other countries. A huge waste Stop listening to CNN(aka Crooked Network News ) . seunny4lif: You compared 7M Jews to over 50M Africans that die at the hand of British, French and Belgium rule. Are you alright? Belgium king killed more than 10M Congoleses alone. So, if Africans can’t read, write, produce goods, participate in trade and export goods then how did the Portuguese and Arabs trade with Africans. How did Africans trade within theirselves. How did Yoruba empire and Benin empire function? How did Egyptians and Ethiopians trade within theirselves. How did Sudanese built and trade with other Africans I guessed you are the one doing the trading for them and producing foods for them during that time. Mali empire was one of the largest empire along side Ethiopia and Egypt empire.

The British don't even buy Nigerian oil. Even the US hardly imports from Nigeria too. Majority of our oil goes to India and Spain. Where exactly is Nigeria being exploited in 2022? German government are paying billions to Israel but what have British done to those Africans, Irish and Indians, they almost wiped out. British stole over 20T dollars worth of things in India and more than that in Africa. Nice one. I think he has also forgotten that the bulk of Nigerian/African historical artifacts such as the Benin bronze and sculptures are all still in the London museum earning millions of dollars in tourism for Britain till date . But everything pertaining to Israel has been lawfully restored. Perhaps it seems that justice is only meant for the whites and not black folks |

Faithful007: But why do Africans like blaming others all the time. This is 2022 and Africa has not moved an inch. Every now and then Africa plays the victim card.
Even if all this were to be factual, how many years did it take Israel to move on from the Holocaust? Why is Africa's case then different? Oga, this is not a matter of victim. The British and her allies still rule Africa through neocolonialism and exploitation. In fact, they are practically responsible for the backwardness and strife currently experienced on the continent. Yes, Africans have their problems , but those problems can be traced to hundreds of years of injustice and imperialism metèd out on the African continent by the same colonial thugs you are currently submissive to today . |
