EmperorCaesar: Almost all the cultures of the world objectifies women
They see them as commodities at best
I really dont see anything wrong in their culture and i can marry into any tribe I think we all evolved through the cultures we were born into. Now we are more like a global family so marrying into any tribe or culture should not be seen as a taboo unless by individual preference. i see you are a person with a huge heart! |
Family › Strange Culture: Can You Marry From This Tribe? by jaszplus12(op): 9:47am On Feb 13, 2025 |
Mùndari tribe of South Sudan : When you want to marry a lady she packs into your house and begin to stay with you. You dare not go to her father to tell him you want to marry his daughter. They will beat you up because it is insult to the father as he is not the one you're marrying.
After the daughter has packed to your house her family elders will come to your house to give you the bride price to pay.
They don't pay bride price in cash they pay with cow. They charge for as many as 70 cows for a bride price..
In Mundari, female children are more preferable because having daughters give you opportunity to having many cattle and here is one amazing thing about this culture.. They don't value your wealth by cash they value it by the number of cow you have..
They bath with cow urine to fight infections. They hardly sell or kill their cow. They eat only sick cow or a dying one. They are unique.

Why must a woman always feel she deserves to be given money but doesn’t deserve to work and provide for herself by herself ?
It’s even a woman that wrote the nonsense up there,
When you don’t give a woman money she calls you stingy forgetting that she’s a beggar with no dignity Once I explained to a lady, if you're interested in money and you give the guy s.ex, then you're simply a prostitute selling se.x! What's the difference?? |

Funny that Africans must use the gun to come to power and always say they're fighting for "freedom" only to take power and enslave the nation! I bet 80% of the fighters are just vagabonds, and know not the true reason for taking care up arms! The senior members of the rebel group will be waiting on the the wings to take over from the one who just took over claiming he's lost the purpose as to why they took over before! And the cycle continues!! We are also aware that the white man has discovered the way to loot the continent, it's by keeping us fighting (this everyone knows we love) such that by the time we come awake, Africa would have nothing left to fall back to...what a sad, sad situation... |

Guess, she's feeling insecure. This level of insecurity needs to be placed on red alert!! I can imagine how your life is! If after assuring her of your fidelity and she's still like that then it's time you modify your response to her by being a little more firm! Celestialsword: The rate of crime in Nigeria now is alarming, despite equipping the police and other security agencies to fight it,as no state or community is spared.
This i think was triggered by the excruciating hardship in the country now.
One of the way the government can reduce the upsurge of crime is to create jobs and bring down the prices of essential commodities including food.
If all the nations refineries are working at full capacity with Dangote refinery,I think the price of fuel will come down.
This will help reduce the prices of goods and services which will ultimately reduce crime rate in the society. You're very correct! You see, no matter how much equipment the police have they're incapable of fighting crime if the mind and hands of the youth isn't equipped with work and moral values! So, you have actually proffered solution to the problem....now, who will bell the cat ? Government or parents? Or both? |

chatinent: Pray for hours?
What would you be saying for hours? Or repeating what was said earlier to make the prayer long to score holy points are allowed? Even Jesus taught a short prayer...the model prayer called the Lord's Prayer popularly known as the "Our Father." He taught his disciples how easy and non-repetitive of what to pray about when they asked to be taught. According to the Bible, God already knows your needs even before you ask...na only you know wetin you go dey talk for hours.
Or you dey "speak in tongues?"
Only that the speaking in tongues you were taught...the utterances of unintelligible words ..are unbiblical, blasphemous, and wrong.
It's just another incantation to copycat what they felt the real speaking in tongues denoted. It wasn't done the way it is done today. Then, those with the spirit spoke just a language and the spirit ensured those from different tribes understood, and the goal was to spread the news of God not taking nonsense (that's to say, for example, in a gathering of a Russian, Chinese, Hindu, Japanese, German, Italian etc., the preacher assisted by the holy spirit only spoke a language and everyone understood even if they never learnt the language)...not some rashidi yekini yamaha tundra susuki done by your fake pastors.
I'm teaching you pure theology for free...but your pastors tithe you for the false ones that enrich them.
Religion makes you feel good, not good. You're 100% right! But MOST followers of the god of men will argue deny and get mad at you for exposing their "role models" or so called spiritual papas! The Bible is very explicit about prayers and speaking with tongues yet religious people love the "mystery" the false preachers portray as though they are doing something true! Any objective reader of the Bible will understand clearly and follow the simple logical truth! |

And also to never cry for a dead person, they are the ones who should be crying for you because where they are is a place of bliss and unquantifiable love. Never cry for a dead person! I learned that too this year when my brother passed! I cried, not for him but for my dear Mom who has had to bear the loss of another child of hers even after her husband my dad! |

Funny that at my age and experience, I find myself learning life's lessons still as though I just started living! 1) No one thinks like you do. You may have a decent honest heart to do something for someone, nay, his or her mind may not see it so and may turn against you! Many times even your closest person! 2) When the heat is on, plastic fans melt! So also friends and relatives! 3) Don't freak out over what you can't control, trust the Supreme Being, you're safest with Him!
Best wishes everyone for the new season/year! |

Romance › Re: How A Man Helped A Lady Squatting With Three Guys In A Room by jaszplus12(m): 12:15pm On Dec 25, 2024 |
Sirchiboy: A year ago I went to visit a friend of mine at his compound. I was to stay over for the weekend.
In that compound, I saw a lady who was squatting with three guys in a single room. When my friend told me about her, the first question I asked was if she was anyone's girlfriend among the three guys she was living with.
My friend said no.
Was she a prostitute?
He said no.
He told me that she was only looking for accommodation and the three guys offered to help her. They took her in as part of their roommate. In return, she cooks for them and washes their clothes, while working at a POS shop.
"But I dey suspect one of them uses the advantage of that thing to sleep with her."
"Who?"
"The owner of the room na. You know he is the one that brought the other two guys plus this girl now."
I wasn't comfortable.
The following day, I was outside when I saw her and called her. I asked her if she was related to any of the men. She said no. I asked her if she was comfortable living with them.
She looked at me.
"I am not comfortable. I am hoping to save up money from my small work to get my own house so I can move out. But for now, it is better to be under a roof, than to be on the street."
I told her I wasn't happy she was staying with men whom she wasn't related to. They smoke, drink, and invite friends over. It wasn't a nice sight to see.
She bowed her head and said to me.
"I know. But I am praying to find a better place."
I left that week and contacted a house agent to get me a single room. He contacted me two days later and I went over to her place and picked her up so we could go check the house. The house was on the street. I didn't like where it was located. It was like a shop that was being converted into a room and rented.
She told me she liked the place and was willing to stay. Instantly I paid for the room for a year. She moved in that same day I paid.
I bought her a bed, some pots, and gas for her. She picked up her clothes and shoes and began living there.
Before I left I gave her some money for foodstuff. Since she had a job already, I believed she could manage. My aim was already achieved.
It is almost a year now and I decided to stop by the house today. To ask about the rent and if she was capable of renewing or need any assistance with it.
When I got there, I discovered the place had been turned into a saloon. The lady I saw there was a different person. Later on, I saw the lady I rented the house for arriving. She was just alighting from a bike.
When she saw me she ran and embraced me passionately.
It's been 10 months since I saw her. I was just like that angel that appeared, paid her rent, got her foodstuff, and vanished.
She told me she had been trying to reach me all this while, but couldn't.
"I have tried everything possible. I have searched around."
She told me she had moved into a room self-contained. And had converted the house I rented into a shop.
"Uncle Praises, I was able to save up and start a saloon. It is not big, but it is better than working at the POS. Soon I will get my complete saloon equipment and will be balanced."
I was very happy for her. I told her I was going to handle the rent for the next year so she could use what she saved up for the equipment she planned to buy.
I had to stop her from crying.
Sometimes at that desperate moment of your life, God sends you someone who intervenes on your behalf and gives you a helping hand that catapults you to your next destination in life.
May that helper come your way. What you have done is going to impact on her more than any sermon preached without love!! Kudos, you just did the right thing! Bless you from Above. |

jesusjnr2020: Although Sam Morsy is a Muslim, it feels really good as a follower of Christ to see someone at least having the audacity to stand up to those perverts behind this demonic woke LGBTQ+ agenda.
Of all the 20 captains in the premier League, he was only one that opted not to wear the LGBTQ+ rainbow armband during these weekend's matches damning all possible consequences, even though there would have been at least one professing Christian among the 19 captains, if not more, that still wore it despite knowing it goes against their religious beliefs.
I think many more football players ought to follow his example and start protesting or speaking up against this glaring injustice being perpetrated by the powers that be, to impose the aberrant beliefs of a few persons on everyone else with different beliefs, despite preaching religious freedom at the same time.
Some were already doing it in other sports in the USA. Coaches and entire teams in the NFL were already revolting against the NFL backed pride month.
No single player of Kansas City Chiefs participated in the pride month following instructions of their coach Andy Reid.
So it's indeed possible to say no to the nonsense woke agenda.
God bless.
