Stung you mean... |
kingreign:Eya! Really an unfortunate situation. Wish that incident never happened during your service year. It would have allowed you to enjoy the serene Plateau. Lol all the same Jos is back to normal hopefully. |
GAZZUZZ:Gazzuzz! Come back please and finish this interesting story. So you were upcountry at some point sef.. Gaskiya(honestly)come finish this story abeg. By the way, great job Gazzuzz! @dipotivo, obeke and the entire "Camry restoration class of 2019" you guys have made this thread worth following. |
@obekediamondfuto you make the thread worth following not that Gazzzuzz isn't living up to his worth o! Thanks for the encouragement it's all that keyless/electrical wahala one is running away from . Thanks broobekediamondfuto: |
Ah!! following from upcountry, Jos, to be precise. Interesting thread @Gazzuzz. You da man! Was thinking of getting a 2010 Camry with the LED reverse lights like the one pictured in one of Gazzuzz's posts. But definitely not hybrid. Overall, very interesting, informative and hilarious thread. Jay say so! |
Please at all the nay sayers.. Let's clarify that the lady in question posted this on her facebook page. OP did not even seek for her consent to post this story here. They were stranded when the car they were in ran out of fuel at a dangerous spot along Riyom - Jos road. Their driver opted to go get fuel, however, the remaining occupants were also female and weren't comfortable with that arrangement. Then comes this guy on his bike and they flag him down. He stops and offers to help. Goes and gets fuel which takes him close to an hour and helps them to continue their journey. How can we take out all the key personalities ethnicity and focus on the good here? My 10kobo |
AllenSpencer:Excuse me? What do you know about CAN? Kindly do not comment or make general/sweeping statements on issues you know little or nothing about. |
OP!! You too try!! Got me laughing and falling off my couch! Great work! Super mods Abeg do the needful to push this to the promised land ![]() |
@ OP so what informed this line of thinking? Have you met all middle belters at home and in the diaspora? Such sweeping statements are not empirical nor verifiable. Are you aware that there is a movie about a certain section of Nigeria and their men? (....something demons) Does it then portend the truth? Please @OP if u have had experience with 10 or even a hundred, that doesn't give you the high horse to make general statements about close to 40million people. |
It looks old to me. I mean the picture. Probably early 2000ish cos of the fashion sense. But that was very racy of her to go commando. |
What is this one saying? |
@OP it might not be that really. Jos is a cool place to live and it's possible she has fallen in love with the quaint quiet laid back city. Simple. Try and ask her the reason for her extended stay. My 2cents. |
It's actually something like Senior: You must take it!! Junior: But senior I can't take its too hot!! Senior: You must take it! That's the theme for the shoot! |
Not Avensis but Corrola. The Avensis comes with three 3 rows of seats... Please correct it |
Your thoughts, your opinion!!! |
Well said @Imadeureadthis. You so poignantly pointed out the systematic dessimation of a once effective organization. I will have u know that as far back as the early 70s the Nigerian Police were finger printing suspects. The customs, immigration and prison service are all off-shoots of this once noble profession. My father told me and trust me, he joined in the early 50s. Was in fact in the first MoPol, Mobil 1 kaduna. |
Plateau state @OP you forgot Plateau State. Of course it's name is derived from its hilly and upland nature. Additionally, Jos was originally Gwash. However, the Uhrobo translator to the Oyinbos had a problem calling it and the Brits wrote it as Jos and that was how it (Jos) is called till date. |
Kindly answer the man |
@OP you succinctly hashed out the issues. Focus shouldn't be on material stuff. Rather, attention should be on our shared humanity. Technology, riches and the likes quickly fade out. However, what stands the test of time is relationships. Datsall!! |
@joevics that is the general feeling in Jos where I reside. However, the guys might do everything within their power to stay in power... My thoughts though. So we have to make sure every single vote counts. |
Nice article. Very enlightening. Thumbs up to OP |
I really do not understand what the OP is saying!!! Makes me want to ask, 'and then'?... The post while highlighting some historical truths virtually has little substance in terms of workable solutions to the problem. Classic African mentality to talk about the problem without identifying a possible solution. Saying this purely from an academic standpoint. |
That narrative is totally untrue. These people have a way of twisting and falsifying history to serve their political agenda. The author is trying to make Beroms look like hateful killers, whereas these were the same people that welcomed and sold land to every individual from any part of Nigeria. Irrespective of creed or ethnicity. To the extent of marrying off their daughters to the Hausa's and Fulani's. Haba mana! A fada gaskiya. |
@OP great story. Very enthralling. Didn't stop reading, cept for work. Very hilarious, had me in stitches at some point. Great job wallahi. |
Kai!!! So true. OP has really analyzed as well as espoused the salient facts from January 1966 till the July '66 coup, up until present day. However, what OP omitted is their western or rather foreign collaborators. They have heavy and serious backing from western powers. This isnt conspiracy theory but a fact. |
Seriously? We are in 2018 and these guys are still hungup on the Jonathan years... Please....... |
So true...@OP. Got that right. |
Very funny. Keep the good work. Nice job @OP |
Followed this thread. Very detailed and eye opening. Thumbs up to Gazzuz for showing attention to details. |
I cant help but say, a mighty nice novelette, kai, I was a bit economical with the truth. It is indeed EXCELLENT, to the point of making an 'over 40 year old man' teary eyed... Started reading this morning and didnt stop till now. @TMDavidWest great job.. |

. Thanks bro
