You cannot blame Tuface for standing down, besides it has nothing to do with him having balls or not... Clearly he is a patriot, but goin against federal might is another kettle of fish all together. Buhari isnt some nice democrat u know, coupled wit d fact that Tuface is middle aged n has a young family to look out for. You ma kukuma check am na.. E no easy....

Politics / Re: 2face And His Innocence by jaybanfa(m): 9:55am On Feb 03, 2017
@OP a quick reminder that Tuface is primarily asking for good governance n his educational status has nothing to do wit demanding for good governance. Next, has to do wit ur messianic calculations that it'l take a longer period of time for 'anyone' to get us out of d woods..so to say. Well sir, i beg to differ, cos our(Nigeria's) situation wasnt any where close to the 'woods' when this administration took over in May 2016. So what happened between then and now? Is d question peopl are asking..and for d record i campaigned for the APC both at state n national level... For me, this exemplifies the beauty of democracy.

Politics / Re: NNPC APPOINTMENT: PMB's Northanisation Policy In Progress by jaybanfa(m): 10:16am On Jul 05, 2016
fulanimafia:
Truth be told, the appointments are skewed in the North's favour; but another truism is that it is one of the spoils of political dominance. We saw the exact same thing under GEJ when the South overwhelmingly occupied the juiciest posts. We can not also discount the behavior of the SE during the election campaigns where it systematically and myopically excluded itself from the ruling party. The few that were involved are now well represented in this government (Ngige, Onu et al.) The South West is also well represented and its clear for all to see.

P.S: The 'North' is made up of 3 regions, North Central, North West and North East so quit the deception in presenting it as 1 region.

point of correction.. DG ITF Longmas Wapmuk is middlebelt so also is Mike Omeiri past DG of NOA.. Yemi Kaale is south west and that Yakubu guy is either from Taraba or Kaduna..quite a number of names on ur list are not south south or south eastern as u'd want us to believe..

Business / Re: Why 100% Nigerian Owned Companies Don't Out-live The Founders. by jaybanfa(m): 10:49am On May 15, 2016
Absolutely...added to this is the absence of good corporate governance in Nigerian founded companies...in other words it all boils down to the company culture passed down to future generations.

The writer clearly understands big brother US play... He must have studied their playbook on destabilizing foriegn, sovereign governments that dont kowtow to their every wish n caprice... First was Iraq's wmd's, then Libya and of course Nigeria was on their radar...but we have defied their prognosis by the grace of God... Overall i intirely subscribe to the writers thoughts... Nice job. Long Live Nigeria!

@OP I think we have to change the narrative where foriegn direct investment is seen as the single wonder pill that will solve all of Nigeria's problem...granted it will aid in fast tracking development, I still believe there are vast local and domestic potentials for investments..she i.e Kemi whatshername? Might have goofed but give her the benefit of doubt here abeg, please, ejor, donallah..

Its because we have our priorities wrong side up....a sorry narrative to see Cambodia way up the index on the right side...while Big Brother Nigeria is way south.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Do You Cope With The Stigma Of Being Out Of Job by jaybanfa(m): 10:17pm On Mar 28, 2016
I resigned my appointment with a subsidiary of a conglomerate in 2013 December after my annual leave.. The stigma i got was from my spouse, surprisingly. Bros, women are something else. I am gainfully employed with a faith based non governmental org and the period I was out of job gave me clarity and I was able to start a consulting business.. So, you resigning or lossing your job is actually a blessing. My take sha.

@OP your knowledge of the issues are commendable, your analysis very true and succinct. There has been a concerted and deliberate plan by our Muslim brothers to dominate. Examples are rife like Jos, southern Borno, Benue state and presently what Nasir El Rufai is doing in kaduna. @OP more grease to ur fingers..keep telling the truth and God Almighty wil see us thru.

Very comic yet poignant...reminds me of BBC's focus on Africa magazine..there used to be an article on the back page written by a white guy..cant remember his name but Rueben Abati kind of sounds/writes like him bringing out salient points in a satirical way.. We need more political satirist that will bring home the truth.

But this here piece just put to rest any such notions on my end. I'l have to follow him on what's that national daily that he has a column again? And @Deziani I wish the speedest recovery, cancer no be small thing. May it be as far as the east is to the west from us in Jesus' name.

Celebrities / Re: Damilola Attoh: “Any Teacher That Touches My Son Will Face The Devil” by jaybanfa(m): 5:11pm On Nov 03, 2015
@janethEze i understand ur concerns totally, you don't want ur child brutalized etc. What i mean is disciplining a child. Now if u say, that should be your sole prerogative, then u are setting up the kid to believe that reprimand can only come from his/her parents. So the child grows up wit a false notion that only dad or mum can address me. Now when s/he knows somebody can knock me on the head for being rude or disobedient what do u think the child will try not to do?

@janetheze would u be happy if ur child does something that needs instant reprimand and the teacher over looks it, only for the child to repeat it and possibly cause you untold embarrassment? That's the difference between Nigeria n Israel. For a Jewish kid is the property of the entire community, much like the olden days where anyone could caution, scold, or whip for the good of the child n community. I have two kids and its my constant prayer that they grow up to be model citizens... My thoughts

Music/Radio / Re: What Is The Best City In Nigeria To Start A Music Career? by jaybanfa(m): 10:01am On Nov 01, 2015
In ascending order from best to least in my 'expert' opinion the first position would go to Enugu, justification would be on grounds of having alot of oriental exports unto the national stage. Abs would come in next considering big platforms like Audu Maikori's choc city have a footprint in the thriving federal capital. Calabar for me is a no brainer, cos I'm upcountry folk don't know who has emerged from the city. U are most welcome OP!

What if you are going thru some hassles at work or in ur business and there is no support from d home front, when she gets pregnant nko and starts pouting as if she wan take selfie... Truly women are a different breed it seems most of them just want to wear d white dress and be addressed as madam. But @OP a word of caution thread softly don't get carried away. Best regards
