Politics › Re: Tompolo Writes Buhari A Letter: ‘I Supported Jonathan NOT Because I Hate You’ by jaybee(f): 10:18am On May 10, 2016 |
Tokt: Buhari also has no personal beef against Tompolo. It's on record that this tompolo duped and defrauded even his own community. This and many more atrocities of his are in court. He should come out of hiding and face consequences of his actions. Buhari is not aware of the existence of a nonentity called tompolo. why should he have a beef with such?
Nigeria is a country under the rule of law with institutions established to maintain law and order. it is not Buhari's duty to instruct statutory institutions on what to do and what not to do. The acts establishing every institution arrogate powers to them, as well as checks and balances. the criminal should come out of hiding and stop writing disgusting open letters that just help to elucidate his cowardice. the state is bigger than any misdirected rag-tag militants |

CSTR2: I have been hearing this since 2010, yet the. NDDC just somehow never recognizes Lagos. The government of Lagos must be obsessed with phantom oil. Oil that nobody else can see. Production test just begun yesterday 3rd May 2016 in deep offshore. Production from the wells will stabilize and be optimized within the next few weeks. Lagos state may not be entitled to derivation if the oil field is waters more than 200m depth. In that case, the whole country becomes the catchment area and not a particular state. |

princemillla: Even at that sis mi, efcc has not been making sense of recent. Those accusations were not backed up with evident, just says.
My fear is, saraki might walk free Don't fear anything; the lawyers asked the CCB witnesses (EFCC) irrelevant questions and they got irrelevant answers. that's all. that is why we have judges to sift the chaff and the grain. when CCB lawyers will ask their questions to the man in the dock, that's when we will hear the crux of the matter. in short the arraignment of saraki is not because of petitions received from the public; it is about the assets he owns and refuse to declare contrary to the provisions of the CCA. After it is concluded that saraki willfully refused to declare the assets he owned, the source of those assets will then be established. The law is patient. |

theV0ice: Soyinka spoke up on the economy and because of him, the fg convened an economic summit. He spoke up on Biafra protests and kanu's detention. What else do you want him to do?
He's done his beat, let us do ours.
I voted buhari and I'm not happy at some issues but I won't join the paranoia and madness going on in the name of opposition.
Folks are wishing their country evil and they think they're opposing buhari?? Soyinka knows that's idiocy and I agree with him God bless you for this post. I canvassed and voted for Buhari. Currently I'm not happy or satisfied with the situation in Nigeria including some actions and inactions of governments at the centre and in the States. But like you aptly put it, I can not, because of some ill-motivated parochial reasons begin to wish and profess evil on this country thinking I'm undoing Buhari or any other person. |

Nbote: D OP went to a great length to try to disprove Fayose's trip to China as a scam but to what end. Fayose is a typical naija politician who at best is as crooked as the rest of dem. But his trying to disprove his trip is solely borne out of the fact dat he has always been a critic of the govt and I'm even wondering what he's doing in China like d rest of dem. You mean if fayose was not s critic of the government then the you wouldn't have problems with the OP |

Any government which is not willing and able to fish out saboteurs (whether economic, political, security, social, media or otherwise, in any ramifications), and deal effectively with them, is not FIT to govern Nigeria.
No government should be weak enough to be held to ransome in any way by saboteurs, while Nigerian masses bear the devastating brunt. |
